Worth the money!
It works so well and is very soothing. It’s easy to use with different buttons/settings on the back, just a shame the remote doesn’t come with batteries. Otherwise, very glad I picked this up – I’d been wanting one for a while.
Helps sleep
I brought this for my partner who likes the TV on to sleep. This helps my partner sleep without the TV. I would recommend it if you have children/adults who have trouble sleeping. It’s like falling asleep under the Northern lights.
Easy to use and the kids complain if I don't put it on all nigh
We had the original version and the star field light failed on it; we replaced it with this newer version and the stars on it are not quite as impressive, I presume they have updated that bulb as the last one failed quite quickly. All in all a great piece of kit, keeps the kids happy.
Love i
Me and my wife absolutely love this you do have a remote control which you can dim the light or switch the light off or switch the laser off whichever you feel like we have this popped up in the corner of our bedroom switch on a timer 45 minutes or three hour timer And it helps us to not off to sleep. I’m even thinking about purchasing a second one for our campervan.
Perfect for the kids room
The product is perfect, different lights and different modes to set up. The only thing is the controller doesn’t work but it no a problem because in the back of the astronaut have manual bottoms to setup the colour.
Nifty little projecto
It’s a great little light for adding a bit of ambience to a room. The remote is fairly easy to figure out, but there’s also some buttons on the back.
It doesn’t come with a plug, but I’ve been using any old 5v USB plug which seems to work fine.
Ruined by stickers
The lamp looks really cool but I’m so annoyed by the bad packaging! This is for a gift, and now it looks absolutely awful. It was covered in 2 giant Amazon / transport logos. Such a shame
Absolutely beautiful. The colours are stunning and so bright. My only issue is the stars are not on all the time and I can’t seem to find a setting to keep them on. Not a single thing that’s not stunning though
Great….bu
This is great and my son loves it in his games room. However if you’re buying as a gift be warned that it arrives without packaging and therefore is covered with a large adhesive address label. It’s impossible to remove and totally spoils it as a gift to give to someone. That’s why I’ve not given 5 stars as it’s so annoying that it arrives this way! Also it’s left on doorstep so anyone can see what it is to steal it !
Bought this for my nephew and he loves i
I bought this as a nightlight for my nephew and he absolutely loved it, the little light on the moon is an excellent toutch, the quality of the product is great and it looks cute, however it isn’t as bright as I would’ve hoped and there aren’t as many stars as there are on other versions.
My 10yo daughter has been pestering me for one of these for a while, and I honestly didn’t expect it to be this good. Very magical and creates a nice low relaxing light in the room. My only issue is that obviously the projector is rather bright on the astronaut, so you have to angle it so that you get full coverage on your ceiling or wall, but also not shining in your face (inducing a migraine in my case) but it’s not difficult to figure that angle out that works, especially with the magnetic rotating head. Overall, excellent buy and my daughter is very happy.
Got this for my nephew for Xmas he’s 4 soon and loves it he reads a book with his dad at night and they decide on the story then pick a colour they feel appropriate and eventually fall asleep to it even my 36yr old brother says it’s relaxing. Bro turns the “stars” off just because he doesn’t want the little one trying to look directly at them down the projector you know as kids do but it’s really effective with or with the stars. So pleased with all the toys they get it’s nice I was able to get him something he uses every night.
The effects are absolutely beautiful and the kids loved it. On our first purchase the star light broke within a few days, but customer service was absolutely great and offered a full refund quickly. We re-ordered the same again and it’s working beautifully. Thank you very much.
Love it !
Bought an Astronaut Galaxy Star light for my 22 year old son and wasn’t sure if he would like it. He’s had it on every night since he was given it and it’s proudly displayed on his desk.
The feet are a little tricky to put in but they definitely do go in once you get it right. Took me a minute to do it but a previous review stating the feet didn’t fit are incorrect. You just need to have it the right way around and squeeze the legs together a little bit. Some people have no patience and give in easily. I’m a bit envious of how cosy his room looks now and wonder if I should get one too lol
Have purchased two but the led star brightness is vastly different between the two units.
Got two of these for the kids at Christmas to use for night lights, checked both out and there is a vast difference between the star (LED) brightness on the units. The remote also seems to not operate as you would expect – the features on one for the star button is different to the other unit!
The nebula is wonderful to watch and ignoring the stars that is the best bit. Cannot be bothered to return the other unit and will just leave the LED at the lowest setting otherwise it is like daylight!
This is a really cute little lamp. It doubles as a night light as well as a nebula projector. The moon in the astronaut’s hands lights up if you want it to and you have your pick of colours. The speed and brightness of the nebulae can all be changed (the fastest speed made me feel like I was moving when lying down). The only criticism I have is that the stars are not that great. They’re green and the brightness on them increases in a very clunky manner (not relaxing). They also cover the roomin a very regular pattern and make me feel like I’m in some cheesy nightclub. I made a makeshift lens by poking a few holes using a pin in a piece of soft white plastic packaging and blu-tacked it over the laser. It’s made a big difference and the stars no longer over-power the nebula as they fade in and out. The projector appears to be well made and good value for the discounted price of 24. I’ll report back if any issues develop.
