The description says bronze but it’s more of a purple colour and looks lovely. It seems to be well made and very easy to use as the large trigger is easy to press. No leaks so far unlike the one it’s replacing. Feels solid and the different spray patterns work well. Value for money and I’d recommend.
After ruining several plastic hose pipes, sending many back online and in-store due to poor quality out of the box that leaked instantly I decided to spring for a more expensive metal one after a recommendation for a colleague
Wish I’d brought one sooner
Stronger spray and not a single leak so far. Fitted to existing connections easily and works far better than I expected and superior to any other I’ve owned over the last 20 years!!
Don’t waste money on plastic, it’s worth the extra to save embarrassing water sprays and leaks drowning you unnecessarily
I’ve had many expensive branded sprayers in the past as my OH seems to forget to empty the water after using it in winter so when if freezes, the plastic body splits. As such, the concept of a metal sprayer appealed.
The sprayer is quite heavy, I personally like this as it feels solid, but if you used this over a long period, it may stsrt to introduce fatigue. All of the fittings look like brass, again, this will add to its longevity. I was pleased to see that they even added some spare washers if you need them.
The water flow is controlled via the trigger, it feels solid, it has a lot of resistance so again could bring on fatigue. There’s a clip to keep this in the open position, but it’s not the best and I found that it often unclipped.
The sprayer has multiple settings, from a soft haze (good for delicate plants) right up to a high pressure jet, making it versatile and fit for almost any purpose.
The only thing that makes me mark this down is the 100% metal in the description. I accept that the body is metal, and this should protect from drop damage and winter freezing. However, the head is the part that often leaks and takes the brunt of any impact, so it is a weak link in my opinion. It’s also quite expensive compared to branded plastic sprayers. This may however be mitigated by the added lifespan if this product, I will post back if I encounter anything to suggest this may not be the case.
A good quality spray gun. Feels like it will last a long time. Had several different ones over the years, all had some plastic in them which degrades over time. Would recommend this product.
The first thing you notice on unboxing is that these is a really solid, and quite heavy, spray gun. It is made of metal and not plastic (except for the added plastic bits like the grip). I’m sure it is going to last for years.
I fitted it into a standard hose connector and no leaks so a good fit. I did notice that you needed to have the hose on at a reasonable amount of pressure before the gun would work. Initially I had not turned the hose on enough and it didn’t work. The problem then is that you need to make sure that you are on the right setting, as if you are on the Blast setting then your plants are blown away. Make sure you start with the Mist setting.
There is a plastic bit of detailing that looks like you can adjust the pressure of the spray at the top of the handle, but after lots of attempts to twist it, I think it is just decoration as I could not get it to move. If it had been to adjust the pressure then I would have give this a 5 star review.
Feels heavy and have just started using so let’s see if it lasts longer than plastic ones ones if it doesn’t t leak after a year well worth the money
