Excellent gaming headset for PS5
I thought I would wait a few weeks before providing a review. My 9 year old has now had this 4 weeks and uses it for a few hours every day on his PS5. He absolutely loves it. The sound quality is amazing, and mic clarity perfect. It feels really well constructed with metal sliders for the adjustment, and the ear cups are large and soft for good cushioning on the ears. The LED light bar down the side is a nice touch too.

The comfort level is unmatched, even during long gaming sessions. The ear cups are soft and plush, and the adjustable headband provides a perfect fit. The mic is superb, picking up my voice with clarity and without any background noise. And the wireless range is impressive, allowing me to wander around my room without losing connection. Overall, a fantastic gaming headset ps5 that enhances my gaming experience!

As someone who always has headphones on, these ones are the most comfy, have pretty good battery life, and the sound quality is just incredible for the price. When I use these headphones for my PS5, I’m able to hear what direction the sound is coming from in game and I’ve been told the mic is great quality. When I’m listening to music or videos with them the sound quality is excellent. The best part of these headphones is how big they are over your ears! I’m very sensitive to headphones, my ears were irritated when my old beats headphones would press up on my ear, but the ear muffs on these headphones are SO COMFY AND SPACIOUS!!!
This is a purchase worth making, highly recommend these headphones this is such a steal for the price tag (I’m writing this review months after purchasing, the quality is still impeccable).
I’ve been looking for a wireless headset for a long time since my old Corsair set hasn’t been able to hold a charge for longer than a few minutes. I searched Amazon for a good pair that could be used on PC and consoles and stumbled on the Gvyugke Captain 500 headset and have walked away thoroughly impressed. It has premium features from headsets that are 3 to 4 times the price.
Some of the Pros:
– Powerful Sound w/ Deep Bass: I’ll just say that I had to turn down my volume a lot on PC because this headset can get loud with solid rumbling bass. Sounded really good when playing Starfield and Remnant 2.
– Really Comfortable: The earcups are a soft leatherette material that didn’t get too hot (at least for me) and the headset wasn’t too tight on my head. It has a good seal to block out ambient noise (I couldn’t hear the loud fans on my tower when playing). Also, they are super lightweight and didn’t put much pressure on the top of my head.
– Cool Looking Design: The design of the headset reminded me of some fancier Razer styled ones, but they are really functional too, since they fold up for easy storage. Also, the LED lights are pretty rad looking, but not too bright and distracting. Also, you can easily turn them off with the G button on the left earcup (helps save battery).
– Other Nice Features: Battery seems to last pretty long and it charges up pretty fast. Controls are easy to access without fumbling around. Has wireless usb, Bluetooth, and audio cable which covers all my gaming needs.
Minor Cons(?):
– Microphone seems pretty standard, but it is easily removable which is great.
– White color could be prone to showing dirt over time, so far mine haven’t
Overall, I’m really happy and impressed with this headset so far. Great features, sound, and value.
I bought this headphone for gaming, it’s amazing the noice cancellation it has is one of the best I’ve seen and the sound quality is great, the hardware of the headphone is good as it looks strong and good looking. The ear cushions are very soft and that makes it very comfortable to wear long time
Unfortunately I bought these they worked for like 5 minutes then died. The microphone did not work at all but the headset was good. It seem to me like its a driver issue when it comes to bluetooth which what i needed it for i did not want to use the usb. I even went as far as wiping my entire laptop and installing windows 10 from windows 11 and it worked on 10 but still no mic. I ensured the mic was plugged in correctly and the mic button was blue. No dice. I would have loved a replacement headset but amazon stated they had no more in stock so they refunded. Id be willing to change my review if the company hits me up with a replacement that works.

The headset was replaced by customer service after reading about the product. The headset was tested today and i can say that the battery life on this is great. At 80% charged i left it on for over 6hrs while playing youtube video and it still at 60%. The sound for my ears is crisp and clear. The only issue i have is the microphone. The microphone goes plugged in one way but its hardly gets picked up by my computer. i literally have to push it in for it to be picked up. I will buy a microphone to make it work right. Other then that if you get it fully working headset mic it will be an excellent headset.

I’ve gone through waaaaayy too many headsets, and all of them had the same flaws. Connectivity issues, not comfortable, and the mic was mediocre. Within 5 minutes I knew this was my savior! It was truly plug and play, no extra installs needed. The headset works with the adapter, or through the 3.5mm cable included, so it works with my switch no problem! The earpads are sooooo comfy, and the headband doesn’t dig in at all. The mic quality was honestly shocking. Best sounding headset mic i’ve ever owned, let alone on a wireless headset! Mind boggling how these can outperform something like the Corsair Void Pro Wireless, or Steelseries Arctis 1 Wireless. Absolute top reccomendation for a gaming headset!
I bought these for my PC to replace the cheap wired headsets I usually get. The sound is much better. The headset is very comfortable, it feels big and clunky and it is (I don’t see this as a con, just a fact). If you have big ears you should be fine with this headset. It feels like it will fall off your head, but it doesn’t and in fact stays put (may be because of the weight). It feels loose and not squeezing your head, but I’ll repeat, it’s very comfortable and stays in place. It’s a peculiar feeling. I’ve fallen asleep with these things on in my chair and work up the next morning worth no discomfort. They do not get hot on your head. Likely due to the large cushiony muffs and “loose” but secure fitment. I am extremely pleased with this headset. I have only used the mic on zoom & teams meetings with no complaints about quality, volume, or static. Overall I’m very pleased with my purchase and would highly recommend. I’m no audiophile, but I think they sound great and the connection through the dongle is solid. If these ever break or die, I’ll definitely buy again. Well done

My husband needed a new pair of headphones. He’s a gamer and is super picky. I found the Captain 500 and jumped on them. He can use them for his computer games, phone, Xbox, Playstation, whatever he wants.
They’re comfy, look nice, have game lights on the side, removable noise canceling microphone. He loves them. Plus, the set up was easy. Very happy and am planning on a pair for myself just for music.
