Superior quality
Superior quality on this kids water bottle .
Despite being made out of stainless steel which is really important for the water not to get contaminated with toxic substances,it still has this cute design on the outside,making this drink water bottle a child’s favourite.
Wash and simple to open and close the lids,great for places like nurseries, car,parks,etc.
To be reminded that this isn’t a water cooler bottle but just one that is made out of stainless steel.
My kids recommend this!
Strong and durable stainless steel versio
This is an excellent drinks/water bottle, i ordered this in the cheerful ocean sea turtle design which looks really cute. The bottle is mainly made of strong & durable stainless steel, although i am sure this may end up with scuffs and dents like these types of bottles usually do.
The lid with pouring spout is completely leak proof with a flip top lid which stays attached when open, this is operated by a single press and has a locking latch for safety. The lid also features a neat folding carry loop so can be attached to a carabiner or strap, this clips away when not in use. Smaller 400ml capacity, ideal for the lunchbox. The double wall keeps drinks cold or hot for hours, has a fairly wide neck but will need a bottle brush to clean inside, comes up well in the dishwasher too.
14.99 (at the time of review) feels fair value for this type of product, excellent quality, completely reusable & eco friendly.
Easy for a toddler to use, stainless steel makes it simple to clea
This bottle is an ideal size for our 2-year-old, and the bright sea turtle design makes it a great unisex product. The raised print adds an extra touch of quality.
It doesn’t have numerous components, like some children’s bottles, so it’s quick and easy to assemble and clean. I’ve not tried putting it in the dishwasher simply because it’s so straightforward to clean that I wouldn’t want to risk damaging the raised print or metal by putting it in there.
The flip lid is easy to use, so much so that our 2-year-old can press the opening catch/button and close the lid again independently.
Similarly, the carry loop is the perfect size for little fingers and is easy to access/tuck away when not needed.
I like that the bottle is made of stainless steel rather than plastic, it also means that it doesn’t have an odour like plastic products often do.
Unfortunately, my toddler dropped the bottle onto the tiled floor from the high chair, resulting in a dent in the bottom edge. You would expect this with a metal cylinder dropped on a hard floor from a height! Yet, true to its claim, the scratch-resistant powder paint finish remains unscathed.
My only possible suggestion for improvement would be a valve to help control the flow of the contents, but this would not be necessary for all children and would depend on the target market’s age. That said, my 2-year-old quickly got used to the bottle and the uncontrolled flow, so it seems suitable from age two upwards.
Overall, I think this is a great product and would recommend it to others.
Fun desig
We love a metal water bottle, and this is just as good as any of the other brands. My kid loves that the drink stays cold for so long and the pattern is fun and bright. I like that it’s actually a little smaller than most bottles so it’s easier to fit in a bag and doesn’t weigh a tonne if I have to carry it around all day.

The raised print design featuring a cheerful turtle is absolutely delightful and makes the bottle very appealing to kids. My child loves showing it off to friends at school! One of the standout features is its leak-proof design. I no longer have to worry about spills in the school bag, which is a huge relief. The bottle is incredibly easy to open, thanks to the flip cover mechanism that is perfect for small hands. It’s also very convenient that it is dishwasher safe, making cleaning a breeze. Overall, this water bottle combines fun and functionality perfectly.
Very sturdy
This drinks bottle is made from very sturdy materials that can really withstand being thrown around by a younger child. The lid is leak-proof when sealed shut too which is ideal, and can even be locked shut to prevent accidental openings. It has a really fun pattern on the outside which looks great and doesn’t fade or chip away after washing. It feels and looks really well made.
Because the bottle is metal, it is really easy to clean and you don’t end up with any residual smell that you can get in plastic bottles, it can even go in the dishwasher. It genuinely makes drinks taste a bit fresher. I did have an issue with the rubber grip around the top of the lid as this got stained very very easily and would not come clean at all, no matter what I tried.
The mouthpiece has quite a large opening, so if it gets knocked over whilst the lid is open, it does come out quite easily and will make a fair bit of mess. I originally thought the claims of it being leak-proof were with the lid off and so reassured my husband it wasn’t an issue that my son had knocked it over after drinking from it, I then found out the hard way that this was not the case.
Overall, this bottle is a little pricier than some other equivalent bottles, however it does feel well made, looks great and is easy to clean. I think the price is reflected in the quality of it.

Perfect Match for My Son's Needs
I recently got the Ion8 Kids Water Bottle (400 ml/13 oz) for my son, and it’s been fantastic. The sea turtle design is cute and matches his school bag perfectly.
After two weeks of use, it’s proven to be truly leak-proof, with no spills in his backpack. The flip cover and secure lock are easy for him to use, and the metal construction is durable, withstanding daily drops and knocks.

Well made excellent bottles from a trusted company
My sons have used a few of these Ion8 bottles now, we’ve had both plastic and metal and we absolutely love them in our house. The quality has always been excellent and they last us such a long time that we can alternate which bottles they use for school and being out and about.
The bottle is made from 100% stainless steel so it feels strong and sturdyas we’ve come to expect from this brand.
The lid is made of plastic and has 2 latches to keep any liquids from pouring out. Theres a push button which flicks the top cap up and there’s a latch that flips over the push button keeping making it extra secure.
Theres even a little loop/handle that flips out at the top making it handy for your kids to hold.
This bottle holds 300ml/13oz making the perfect size for your kids school bags.
The design on this particular bottle is also very cute. The underwater scene is well printed, with vibrant colours. We especially love the friendly yellow Octopus along the bottom of the bottle!
Good small water bottle
Colours are bright and bold with great colourful sea images. Easy to find in a bag and stands out around other bottles. Good small size which I prefer when I need to put these in my handbag, fits into backpack pouches too. Metal so lasts a while and doesn’t have a smell to it. I have found the metal version of these leak more easier than the plastic, but no signs of this one leaking yet. Easy to open and easy to clean as can go in dishwasher too. Good water bottles.

A well made Ion8 kids water bottle with a reliable leak-proof design, easy-to-use flip-top lid, and secure lock. The bottle is also durable which is important when it will inevitably receive plenty of knocks. It is dishwasher safe and easy to clean, with a 3D raised print design. Whilst it is not suitable for hot drinks it works well for cold water or juice. All in all a sturdy high quality bottle which I think is worth the money.

This is a really well made and super cute fun water / drinking bottle.
Most drinking bottles for adults are functional and boring – this is brightly decorated without looking too childish and is therefore easily usable for any adult who wants to show they still have a sense of fun.
Holding 400ml of fluid which is easily enough to cope with the average commute it is light weight and seals and locks securely.
Great item – very happy to recommend.
Very good water bottle
This is a good quality water bottle with a lovely colourful under water turtle design.
I feel like we have had hundreds of water bottles for our children and they all seem to end up leaking in the end. However, we’ve had no such problems with our ION8 bottles. They are really well designed to avoid leaks. The seal is strong and then it has a double latch to keep the bottle shut. I think little children might struggle to open and shut the latch but it’s probably fine for kids ages 5 and upwards. The water comes out very quickly so it’s not really suitable for very little kids anyway.
The fact that it is steel keeps water cooler for longer in the hot summer months.
The bottle is only 320ml capacity which might not be big enough for a whole day at school.
