A great metal drinks bottle that is ideal for kids to take to school with them. It is designed to withstand the knocks and scraps that come with youngsters having things.
I have used Ion8 bottles many times in the past and been pleased with how they work, how well they stand up to everyday wear and tear and also that you can get extra seals for their bottles when they need replacing. This bottle is no different and has withstood very well. I also liked the fact that despite the design finish, it is dishwasher safe. This means regardless of how the kids treat it, I can get it properly cleaned in no time at all.

The blue Ion8 water bottle is great for everyday use with its 600ml capacity. Its lovely whale motif is attractive to little children. It is perfect for them to use at various sports activities. The bottle is made of stainless steel that enables it durable and safe. It’s leak proof and has a convenient button for push-to-open and click-to-close. This bottle is convenient for little one to drink. It also has a locking mechanism design to avoid accidently spillage. This bottle features a hidden hinged carry handle that can be folded up/down from the lid for easy carrying. My only concern is that the bottle should be held in a particular angle to avoid water dripping from its ventilation hole. I still prefer that this bottle comes with a straw for little one to drink from.
The raised whales printed water bottle is another elegant products from Ion8 which is well made. The 600ml bottle is made from lightweight stainless steel which is durable and recyclable. The bottle is approx 23.1cmH x 6.5cm Dia. It fits the cup holder in the car nicely. Its slim body designed for comfort holding and wide neck for easy cleaning. It can be hand wash or put it in your dishwasher. It’s a pity that the bottle is not thermal insulated, thus it is not suitable for hot drinks since the bottle will be too hot to hold and cause burn. It is also not suitable for carbonated drinks due to its body steel material.
A really nice water bottle for my son with whale design on the outside. The images seem to be stuck onto the water bottle, as they have a different, shinier texture, and are slightly raised from the bottle.
The bottle lid is very well designed, and doesn’t leak. The main container is made from metal, which is the material I prefer my kids to have for their water bottles. The bottle doesn’t have a straw.
I like the pull out ring handle on the lid for easy carrying. Nice bottle.
This is a very well made steel water bottle, my only gripe is that there is no sort of flow control, so water can keep coming out if you tip the bottle upright to drink out of it.
The cap and locking mechanism are well made too.

Whilst it’s made of stainless steel, it’s not heavy and doesn’t have a metallic taste to the water.
The locking design is robust but think a little too good for young children. maybe a good thing?

I ordered this 600ml water bottle featuring different types of whales to stay hydrated in style. It’s leakproof, even when turned upside down when closed, you just have to make sure not to tilt it too far when drinking as the water pressure hole will release liquid if you do. My first few sips meant I got wet but I learnt how far to tilt it to avoid this.
To open it, flip the clasp down, push the button down and it flips open to reveal a straw. There’s also a handy handle which pulls out to hold or to hook onto something.
It can be washed by hand or in the dishwasher.
4* — I love the design with different types of whales, and the deep petrol blue background colour, plus the fact it’s leakproof. You have to ensure that you don’t tilt it too far back when drinking or you’ll get wet and, once the button’s been clicked down, the lid flips open all the way, it can’t just rest slightly open which means, if there are insects around, you have to keep it closed between sips BUT the design is fabulous and I love i
