Safety is paramount, especially when traveling by car. This set of car escape tools from JUFO provides peace of mind in emergency situations. The seat belt cutter and window breaker offer quick and easy access to safety in case of accidents. However, I’ve noticed that the tools could be more compact for convenient storage in the vehicle. Despite this, it’s a practical accessory for anyone seeking added safety measures for their car journeys.

These tools are effective at their duty; I haven’t really been in a situation where I would have to use it for its specific intention however I can say that it would work well and I have used it for similar purposes where they have worked fine. Would recommend.

This car safety tool is incredibly compact yet powerful enough to quickly break car windows and cut seatbelts in emergencies. Its simple design makes it easy to use, giving peace of mind on the road. It’s lightweight, easy to store, and could be a lifesaver.

My wife chose these as we didn’t have any escape device for our car. I remembered reading an article about a similar product by a police officer in the US, who said that the ability to break the glass in your window, especially in your car if underwater, was so important and live-saving. Doors on cars will not open under water, due to the pressure, unless you can open (not usually possible on electric windows) the windows fully, to reduce the pressure, or to escape directly out of them. The same goes for if your car has turned over and you are trapped, as you also would have little time to escape before risk of fire or explosion.

I’ve placed one of these devices clipped onto the top of the dashboard, bright red so it’s easy to spot, even in an emergency. One end has a cover on what is a cutting device for safely and quickly cutting your seatbelt to get free, the other end has a powerful compressed tip that breaks the glass when banged onto it. It has a strong explosive force, that belies its small size. Each pack of 3 comes with 3 toughened glass discs so you can test it out so you are confident it works. I was quite surprised by the impact when I tested it out.

I gave another to our best friends for their family car, and will give another to my brother. I hope none of us ever need to use them, but I expect that they will certainly help save lives, if needed. I’m glad to have one in my car.

I would recommend choosing the red ones, so they’re easy to find in the case of an accident.

I never knew these things are being sold on amazon, but I’m glad I came across them. The video says it all. This glass shattered with no effort at all, so hopefully the real ones will be the same. The belt cutter is a nice extra. My only real concern is that I don’t know where in the car I should put them. There are 3 stands included but I think they wouldn’t stay in place in case there was a big impact on the car. Globebox? What if it gets stuck? These things are tiny, so it’s easy to misplace them especially if the car around you is damaged to bits. But I still think it’s better to have these in the car than not having anything.

These car escape tools are meant to allow you to smash a car window and/or cut through a car’s seat belt in the unfortunate event that you find yourself in your car which has either turned onto its roof or worse submerged into water. Hopefully, this is something that will never happen to most of us but it’s better to be prepared than not. These tools will likely do the job they are designed for but they are smaller than I expected. If I had to hold these in my hand to smash a window from the inside I would want a bigger device that would hold well in my hand. These look and feel pocket sized which may be the thinking behind the design but for me, as a man, they feel insubstantial. For this reason, I’ve taken off 1 star. But for the price, they probably are worth keeping in your car for those just-in-case scenarios.

I’m hoping I never have to use this in a real situation, but testing these, they work great.
There’s a seatbelt cutter one side, seems to rip through most materials I’ve used it on.
The other side is a spring loaded “hammer” – there’s 3 glass panels to test these on, and they work as you would expect.
Also comes with 3 holders that are securable via 3M stickers.
As this comes with 3 total, you could share these if you are a multi-car family, or have one on each front seat, and one for the back seats, in case of emergency.
Also useful to put in rooms with double glazing, again, in case of emergency (eg, fire).

This pack of three emergency seat belt cutters/glass breakers arrived nicely packaged in a branded cardboard box which also includes self adhesive clip mounts for the tools and three glass discs for testing.

Many years ago I used to drive a flying squad ambulance and that made me realise how easy it is to get trapped in a car following an accident. If the car is submerged in water or on fire a trapped seat belt or bent door that won’t open can mean the difference between life and death.

Because of this I’ve always carried a glass breaker in the car and, fortunately I’ve never needed it myself but I did use it to free another driver I came across who had turned his car over at night on a quiet country road. It was the days before mobile phones so he could have been trapped for quite some time!

These devices are small and easy to carry. I haven’t tested the seat belt cutter but the attached video shows the glass breaker used on one of the supplied glass test discs. We’ve now got one in each of our two cars and the third has gone to a sister.

When I ordered these they were priced at 23.95 (7.98 each) and I notice they’ve gone up to 25.99 (8.66 each). Even so, it’s a reasonable price for a device that could well save your (or somebody else’s) life so they get 5 stars.

When it comes to safety on the road, having the right tools can make all the difference. That’s why the JUFO Family Pack Car Window Breaker is a must-have for every vehicle. Here’s why it’s become an essential part of our emergency kit:

Life-saving 2-in-1 Tool: This ingenious device combines a window breaker and seatbelt cutter into one compact and lightweight tool. In the event of an emergency, such as a car accident or submersion, having quick access to a reliable escape tool can be the difference between life and death.

Compact and Portable: We love how compact and lightweight the JUFO Car Window Breaker is, making it easy to carry and access when needed. With its convenient bracket and Velcro attachment, it can be securely installed on the central console of any vehicle, ensuring it’s always within reach when seconds count.

Powerful and Effective: Despite its small size, this tool packs a powerful punch. With a 6kg impact force, it can shatter tempered glass windows in just one second, allowing for a swift and safe escape from the vehicle. The hardened stainless steel point ensures reliable performance, even in the most dire situations.

User-friendly Design: One of the standout features of the JUFO Car Window Breaker is its ease of use. Whether it’s the elderly, women, or children, anyone can quickly and effortlessly use this tool to break windows and cut seatbelts, ensuring everyone can handle emergency situations with confidence.

Versatile Applications: While we hope to never experience a car accident or emergency situation, it’s reassuring to know that the JUFO Car Window Breaker is ready to spring into action when needed. From escaping a sinking or overturned vehicle to breaking free from a burning car, this tool offers peace of mind in a variety of emergency scenarios.

These are supplied in a boxed set of three, complete with snap-fit holders (which can be stuck onto an interior car surface). Both ends of the tools are covered… one end has the window-breaking punch tool – and the other end has a small (but very sharp) blade for slicing through seat belts.
Apart from the necessary instructions on whereabouts to break a car side window, the box also contains three sample discs of car side window glass, which are to be used for testing one’s skill with the pointed breaking tool. Both my wife and I found this invaluable, since it is clearly impossible for most people to test the window-breaker out on a real car window….. there IS a ‘knack’ to using the breaking tool effectively and quickly – and the sample glass allows one to understand how the breaker works.
We have placed these small but vital tools in the same location inside our cars, so any driver knows exactly where to find them in case of emergency. Living in an area where flooded roads are becoming increasingly common each winter – and having witnessed a driver trying to escape from a water-stranded car – I consider these little tools the most valuable accessory for any vehicle. An essential safety tool, currently marketed at a very affordable price-point and highly recommended.

This worked perfectly, and easily breaks glass quickly. I have no concerns about this not working if I ever need to use it. I have not tested the seatbelt cutter, but I assume this will work just as good.
It is a pack of three, so I have put one inside each door and on the centre of the rear seats. When doing so I have found one major issue. The quality of the sticky pads is absolutely terrible and they fell off not long after sticking, I will be pealing these off and putting on better quality pads.

So this is a tricky item to review, because you won’t use it unless in an emergency. However I was able to test it a little, on the disc of glass included in the box.
This pack includes 3 tools, each with it’s own holder (that can be placed anywhere in your car, thanks to the sticky pad) and three discs of glass, for testing purposes.
Each tool is double ended. At one end the cap pulls off to reveal a small blade for use on your seatbelt. At the other you find what just looks like a black plastic protrusion. You need to press this HARD against the glass in order to trigger the tungsten tip, which very efficiently smashed the glass, tester, disc.
Ultimately this is something I hope I’ll never need to use. The pack of three means we can put one in each car and still have a spare left over. At 23.99 for the pack of three they’re good value, if only for the extra peace of mind that such a tool provides.

You may have watched those videos of cars going down down down into a watery abyss & thought ‘nightmare city’ but never me. Well it doesn’t take a fast fly off a pier to get you into trouble, trapped inside your car with failed electrics or a smashed car door that prevents you opening it & getting out. Accidents happen, all the time, & yes, it could be you next time so be prepared.

I loved that this kit came with 3 devices. I have one on my keychain but it can be fiddly to get at so having the option of a couple of these on holders around the car is a real bonus.

There’s a seatbelt cutter on one end, & the hammer to smash the glass on the other end operated by a spring loaded piercer made of tungsten. They work but if you’re still not convinced you get glass testers to make sure.

Everyone should include at least one of these tools in the car & everyone who travels in it should be aware of where it is. More than one vehicle? No problem, you get three in this pack.

The last photo shows how well the glass sample shatters when the hammer is used properly. If you do this yourself expect the glass to fly so do it outdoors or in the garage for safely

    **** Important: How to Use****

Only use on car door windows as it’s a different glass from your windshield which will not break using this device. (Think of what happens if you get a stone chip, you only get a tiny dent/hole for good reason)

You need to use some force so be prepared to give it all you’ve got. If it doesn’t shatter the glass first time keep pounding away.

Apply the hammer to the corner of the window, not the middle. The more stable the area you’re hitting the more likely it is to shatter & corners are less prone to movement or flexing.

100% recommend, be prepared, be safe.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Tool Every Car Should Carry

This product is one of those tools that everyone should have just in case the worst happens!

They are designed to help you escape your car in case of an accident, firstly to shatter a car window should you become trapped, and on the other end they have a blade to cut through a stuck seatbelt so you can cut yourself free.

Obviously everyone thinks this would never happen to them, but accidents can happen through no fault of your own, so its best to be prepared. Car window glass is tempered, so it is almost impossible to break with your bare hands without a tool to hand.

Usage is very straightforward, simply pop off the end cap and press hard against the glass and it will fire the pin which shatters the glass. To cut the belt there is a recessed blade on the other end, which you press into the belt and will cut through.

You get 3 in a pack, which at 23.99 works out around 8 per device. There is also a mounting holder which you can stick onto your centre console/dashboard. They are around 9cm long, so finding a place for them isn’t too difficult, and obviously you want somewhere that makes them easily accessible in an emergency, so not in the glovebox!

In the pack you also get some circles of glass on which to test them on. These it has to be cautioned have very sharp edges, so are definitely not child safe, the manufacturer should really have ground these so they aren’t sharp before supplying, so do be careful. Also if you are going to test, do it in an outside space where you can easily sweep up, and wear eye protection and gloves! Obviously its wise to know how to use it before you need to for real.

Overall for the price and potential they have to save lives, not just in you car but also if you come across an accident where people are trapped inside, these are a no brainer to have in your car. Getting 3 in a pack means you can also protect friends and family too, so I would highly recommend!

I wasn’t aware that the box contained cuts of glass when the item arrived as I hadn’t seen it on the ad prior to ordering nor does it mention glass on the box. Because of this I wasn’t being overly cautious opening the box and opened it slightly lower than the top tab sliding my thumb in right where the circles of glass are and it sliced open my thumb – be careful! The pieces are very sharp on the edges. Good for proving the effectiveness of the product but an unnecessary, dangerous additon to the kit. Very good little gadget to keep in the car incase of emergency. Nice and small so you can put it in the glove box, handbag, pocket, centre console etc. Also comes with a sticky pad holder you can attach to a surface should you want to. Good value for money. Would recommend.

First impressions of quite good you get three compact window seat belt breakers first thing you know notice is you get three brackets so you can place these inside the car in various places even access to all passages
I like the way they give you three samples of glass so you can test each window breaker simply place the glass on the flat surface and press down and the spring action pin breaks the glass easy
The tool itself is handy one end has a blade which you cut the seat belt with the other is the spring loaded breaker absolutely fantastic you don’t any instructions in the box very self explanatory and really demonstrates how to use everything brillia
