Cheaper is the complai
K5 .It’s easy to handle and move about. Very good pressure washer. BUT the pressure is just not quite good enough for DRIVEWAY BLOCK PAVING . I have a K7 for that job as its JUST about good enough to shift the weeds in the cracks BUT you have to MANOVER over the weeds a couple of times. Could be a bit more pressure 10psi I would have.
It would speed up the job as it is i have to take it slowly. IT SHOULD BE A LOT CHEAPER.

does what it says on the box
Great piece of kit, slight niggle the hose connection to the pump is not easy to remove without a tool.
I use this for cars. motorcycles, patio, and just about anything else.
Expensive and lacking in features but it works
The Krcher K 7 Power Pressure Washer is something I was looking forward to trying out. I don’t recall ever cleaning our paving slabs in the garden so I had high hopes for this machine.
The K7 pressure washer is huge and very heavy but it has wheels to move it round the garden. This makes it a little easier but it is still a big item to be manoeuvring. The pressure washer is easy to set up by attaching your garden hose to the front of the machine.
The device has a few options to use with one end a more focused stream of water than the other. We had issues with the power of water coming from the machine but this is likely due to the water pressure coming from the tap which was next to nothing as inconveniently our outdoor tap hasn’t been working properly. This lead to insufficient pressure from the machine to have any effect on the years old dirt but considering how low the water pressure was I can see how powerful it will be once we get the tap fixed.
The pressure washer unfortunately does pump out so so much water when in use which even on the low pressure we had it left the garden like a swimming pool in less than a minute. I suppose if it was working as intended this wouldn’t be so bad but it does seem like an unnecessary waste of water when it’s coming out so excessively.
I can definitely see potential with this pressure washer (once we’ve fixed our tap!) but I do think it is very expensive and very heavy considering the lack of features it seems to have. For the price I’d have expected much more for the money than the few things this machine can do and even with the high price they don’t even add the cleaning detergent with it. It is a great quality machine though and works well if you’re looking to give your garden a thorough clean.
Feels professional
This is so much more powerful than my old pressure washer. Genuinely feels like a much more professional unit with a lot more power behind it. The power can even be adjusted easily as well.
The unit comes with a few accessories for different spraying and the main lance. It doesn’t come with much else but there are loads of other accessories that tend to work across the whole karcher range.
Does come in a huge box so will take up a lot of the recycling bin or takes a trip to the tip to get ride of all the packaging. There is a little bit of assembly to do but having had a pressure washer before this wasn’t an arduous task.
The lance does have issues with all fitting within the unit so may cause an issue with keeping the kit together and storage.
Ultimately get what you pay for and this feels genuinely worth the price tag.
I had owned a smaller power washer purchased about 6 years ago which I used to clean my patio and front path with, but the nozzle was quite small and it was taking ages to get the job done! It also wasn’t very powerful.
When I saw this one it looked far more powerful and more like what I needed and with a bigger nozzle. It is heavy out of the box at 19.3kg but it is on wheels and has a little pull out handle so I was able to wheel it onto my patio.
It comes with a spray lance dirt blaster and vario power spray lance, you attach them to the high pressure gun. I attached the dirt blaster and then tried to take it off to then try the power spray lance but couldn’t, it is a bit tricky and in the end my neighbour had to remove it, although I now have the hang of it! The pressure gun is easy to attach to the washer though and you are given a small attachment to help attach your garden hose to it.
The on/off switch turns easily and because the washer is heavy it doesn’t fall over if you have to wheel it across your patio. There is an extendable hose if required and a 5 metre power cable.
I have uploaded a video and some photos which hopefully show how powerful this is. You can adjust the flow via the lance which is easy to operate. There is a slot to put cleaning agent bottles and you are provided with a small compartment net. Any additional attachments can be stored on the washer itself.
The water cooled motor means you get a powerful and effective performance. It is well designed with everything placed where I would have wanted it to be.
You are also provided with a user guide and another couple of booklets, one is the product registration guide and the other showing the range of other karcher accessories available.
This is expensive but it has multiple uses, I intend to clean my windows using it, and the softer flow option means I can clean my garden ornaments and tools. But primarily it will be used to clean my path and patio, and having used it now over a couple of days I can only say I am very impressed with it and am happy to recommend.
This power pressure washer is something else! I don’t understand all the statistics with bar pressure etc but I can say that this is very very powerful. It is pretty easy to use but is heavier than I thought. Thankfully it has wheels. I like that all the attachments can be stored on the main unit. The hose is extendable and it all slots together really easily. When I first turned it on I thought I was going to take off as it is so strong. I had visions of me flying around like a cartoon character holding on to a fireman’s hose!! Once I got the hang of it though I loved spraying the patio. It is brilliant at getting old dirt off. I am yet to try it on my car but after a bit more practice I am sure I will be able to do it without completely making a fool of myself in the street! Highly recommended.
I already own a cheap Karcher pressure washer. So definitely knew this was going to be pretty good.
It comes nicely packaged in it’s proprietary Yellow Karcher Box.
Opening and assembling was pretty easy and.atraight forward.
I did read the instructions on how powerful this was compared to my other pressure washer so I was very cautious when first trying it. So glad I was as it makes my old one look like a normal hosepipe pressure wise.
Obviously never tried it on my car to begin with but on my dirty drive I gave it a go. This shocked me at how it lifted the dirt with ease. If I had used it on my car at the pressure I was using it at it would probably have peeled my paintwork. Not a fault with the washer but just through sheer pressure.
I did stand back and lower the pressure and tried it on my car and it took the surface dirt off with ease. Also the brake dust and dirt on my wheels or cleaned without using any car wash shampoo.
Had a lighter pressure for rinsing and there are brush attachments that can be purchased as extras.
This is definitely easy to use and very well made. Something Karcher do well.
It’s sturdy but easy to manoeuvre.
At 503 I thought it was bit expensive. But you do get what you pay for.
Easy to use and powerful excellent pressure washer. My other one is now redundant.
Definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a great pressure washer.
Yes it’s value for money due to the fact you get quality and reliability from a well known manufacturer.
The Krcher K 7 is the top-of-the-range domestic pressure washer from the most respected brand in the business. It’s a monstrously powerful beast, delivering a maximum of 180 BAR of pressure. What does that mean? By comparison, mains water pressure is generally between 1 BAR and 5 BAR. Using a garden hose with a special nozzle, mains water pressure can be increased to a maximum of around 14 BAR. Some of these pressure-boosting hoses are pretty good at getting loose dirt off cars, pavements and driveways, but they don’t tackle deeply ingrained dirt: the stuff which – in the cases of paving slabs, walls and driveway tarmac – may have been there for months or even years. That’s where the Krcher K 7 comes in. It makes short work of – as in, REALLY short work of – even the most stubborn ingrained dirt on slabs. Also, dried-on mud on vehicles – the type that regular pressure hoses won’t remove – comes off as if by magic when blasted by the K 7 at high pressure. This impressive power makes the Krcher K 7 perfect for cleaning farm machinery, farm vehicles, cars, vans, paving slabs, brick walls, stone walls and driveways. It’s a heavy piece of kit, weighing in at over 19 kg, but you don’t get 180 BAR of water pressure without a seriously powerful motor. If the idea of that weight puts you off, keep in mind that the K 7 does have wheels, so you don’t have to manually lug the thing around.
Further expanding the K 7’s versatility, it has a 5-metre power cable and a 10-metre extendable hose, giving you a vast range so you’re not limited to staying close to a power source.
Adjusting the power of the flow is easy – you can go as light as you like, or all the way to the max of 180 BAR if/when necessary. The flow is engaged by a trigger control on the cleaning lance. This is intuitive to use and easy to engage/disengage – simply pull the trigger to engage the flow, then release to disengage.
The K 7 has a dedicated slot for loading bottles of cleaning solution (such as Krcher’s 3-in-1 Stone and Paving Cleaner), should you wish to use these. It’s also compatible with all Krcher K-series accessories – yet another feature that adds to this machine’s versatility and flexibility. Additionally, the K 7 can be used with any compatible foam-cannon attachment.
I have no major criticisms of the Krcher K 7. Certainly, in terms of sheer power and versatility, it can’t be faulted. If I had been one of the engineers involved with the design of the product, I’d have suggested making the lance more heavyweight – like those of the industrial range – so that it would definitely stand up to long-term frequent heavy-duty use. Other than that, this product is pretty much perfect.
