Want some mini building blocks? Roblox / Minecraft style?

These are the Kids Odyssey Store Build Mine House Magnetic Building Blocks x 18 Pieces, Made From Plastic, Each block Measures 2 x 2cm.

If your kid loves Roblox / Minecraft then these blocks look like a smaller version, you get 18 mini blocks that make a very 2D house, pity you don’t get more. You get four different styles of block, rock, grass, wood and leaves. Once all slotted together they make a rather flat house.
My youngest uses them with her small Minecraft figures, and is now gathering quite a set, probably about 60 of em now!

Overall I’d recommend this set of mini magnetic Minecraft building blocks, but they are not cheap.

This is a nice little set. Ideal for taking on a journey to keep Kids occupied. Love the style and the blocks are great quality. Really good value for money.

The magnetic blocks come in a small transparent hard plastic storage case.

The cubes are quite small, but they are good quality and the printing on them is very nice, with good magnets in them. I received the Magnetic House set, which is a small set and is comprised of 18 blocks – 6 stones, 2 wood, 5 mud+grass, 5 leaves blocks.

I wouldn’t say this set contains enough blocks to be able to really play with on its own. It functions best as an expansion, and in that context it is really good. It is very expensive for what you get, but it is quite a unique building toy and my children really enjoy playing with these blocks.

These are quite cool. Never seen a product quite like them. Reasonably well made little 2cm cubes with magnets in them. And Minecraft themed on the outside of course.

The magnet system is clever – the magnets are clearly loose inside some kind of framework inside the cubes, so the magnets can flip around when needed. This means any face of any cube can connect to any other – nice.

As a single pack there are 18 cubes and you can make a little house as shown, or the little tree and hill my daughter created in the photo. With so few cubes there’s limited scope for creativity, so you would soon be looking for more packs.

It’s a nice concept though and cool to make little Minecraft models like this.

These magnetic blocks come in a snap-shut plastic case. There are 18 included, with 6 stone, 5 grass, 5 leaves and 2 tree trunk blocks. It’s a small set that allows the building of a small tree and some grassland. There is however space in the case for two more blocks, it seems odd to not have it completely filled, especially given the price.

The blocks themselves are very lightweight but appear well made and feel like they have loose magnets inside rather than being entirely solid. These magnets make clicking sounds as the blocks are attached to each other, I was very surprised at how tactile this makes them, I get a definite ASMR effect playing with them. As a result I would say that they are excellent as a fidget toy, especially for Minecraft fans, though they are best used combined with other sets.

This does seem a little expensive for a small set but overall I am very happy with these magnetic blocks.

These are amazing. The quality is fantastic as the plastic is made very well and there are almost no visible joints of each wall. There are so well made that they are perfectly equal to each other so the builds will be looking very cool. They are all printed which makes them even better and more durable. Each piece has magnets inside that rattle a little bit but I think this is for a reason as each piece attracts each other and there is almost no issue that some cube will repel other one.
However, I think the price is too high. For 18 cubes you are paying 9.99. that is more than 50p per one cube. Also, 18 cubes gives you just a little bit of fun and to make something cool you would need quite few more which would cost you a lot of money.
Overall, these are amazing cubes with very famous game blocks printing woth very good details. However, the price is slightly too much for a little bit of plastic with magnets inside. Refardles of that I still like them and my kids likes them even more.

I recently got the Kid Odyssey Magnetic Blocks, Build Mine Magnet World Set for my autistic son, who also has a missing chromosome.

He loves toys like this, and this set was no exception.

I was a little worried about the size of the pieces, as they seemed smaller than I would have liked.

Despite this, the quality is fantastic.

There are plenty of different patterns and colours to choose from, and the magnets work really well, holding all the pieces together firmly.

It’s a brilliant sensory toy that has kept my son entertained for hours. Just be aware of the size if that’s a concern for you.

The ‘Kid Odyssey Magnetic Building Blocks, Build Mine Magnet World Set for Boys and Girls, 70 Pcs’ looks to be inspired by Minecraft and should go down well with any fan.
The blocks stick magnetically together – strong enough to build but easy to pull apart.
General build quality of the blocks is very good and the set comes across as being of decent quality.
If you want to build something of the level of the demo photos then you will need some very deep pockets as a single box of 70 blocks will not be anywhere near enough.
40 for a single box seems a bit steep in my opinion – especially for an off-brand make, no matter how good the quality is.

These magnetic blocks are great fun and any child that is into Minecraft will love playing with them. The only disappointing and frustrating aspect is that, whilst 70 blocks seems quite a lot, you will need to buy multiple sets in order to build anything like the first product listing photo. Also, the brick/window blocks do not appear to be available.

However, despite the above negatives, I would still recommend this product but wish it was cheaper.
