Fun small Minecraft building blocks
Want some mini building blocks? Roblox / Minecraft style?
These are the Kids Odyssey Store Build Mine House Magnetic Building Blocks x 18 Pieces, Made From Plastic, Each block Measures 2 x 2cm.
If your kid loves Roblox / Minecraft then these blocks look like a smaller version, you get 18 mini blocks that make a very 2D house, pity you don’t get more. You get four different styles of block, rock, grass, wood and leaves. Once all slotted together they make a rather flat house.
My youngest uses them with her small Minecraft figures, and is now gathering quite a set, probably about 60 of em now!
Overall I’d recommend this set of mini magnetic Minecraft building blocks, but they are not cheap.
Nice little se
This is a nice little set. Ideal for taking on a journey to keep Kids occupied. Love the style and the blocks are great quality. Really good value for money.
Great for kids
The kids love these. Like the way they make a noise as they click together. Decent quality and reasonable value. Always think there’s one missing as there’s a gap in the box. Good little container to keep them in.
Fu
We love this but I find it quite an expensive toy to collect especially when you buy small packs separately as it’s really just few pieces and you need more to fully build something substantial. We have 3 small packs and when built together, it is still small. However, the toy itself is well made and quite robust. It’s been played all the time and I still don’t notice fading or scratches. The pieces connects properly and securely and very intertaining for Minecraft fans like my son.
Great toy for Minecraft fans, but not enough in a pack!
These are quite cool. Never seen a product quite like them. Reasonably well made little 2cm cubes with magnets in them. And Minecraft themed on the outside of course.
The magnet system is clever – the magnets are clearly loose inside some kind of framework inside the cubes, so the magnets can flip around when needed. This means any face of any cube can connect to any other – nice.
As a single pack there are 18 cubes and you can make a little house as shown, or the little tree and hill my daughter created in the photo. With so few cubes there’s limited scope for creativity, so you would soon be looking for more packs.
It’s a nice concept though and cool to make little Minecraft models like this.
Small Minecraft-style building se
The magnetic blocks come in a small transparent hard plastic storage case.
The cubes are quite small, but they are good quality and the printing on them is very nice, with good magnets in them. I received the Magnetic House set, which is a small set and is comprised of 18 blocks – 6 stones, 2 wood, 5 mud+grass, 5 leaves blocks.
I wouldn’t say this set contains enough blocks to be able to really play with on its own. It functions best as an expansion, and in that context it is really good. It is very expensive for what you get, but it is quite a unique building toy and my children really enjoy playing with these blocks.
Good quality magnetic block se
These magnetic blocks come in a snap-shut plastic case. There are 18 included, with 6 stone, 5 grass, 5 leaves and 2 tree trunk blocks. It’s a small set that allows the building of a small tree and some grassland. There is however space in the case for two more blocks, it seems odd to not have it completely filled, especially given the price.
The blocks themselves are very lightweight but appear well made and feel like they have loose magnets inside rather than being entirely solid. These magnets make clicking sounds as the blocks are attached to each other, I was very surprised at how tactile this makes them, I get a definite ASMR effect playing with them. As a result I would say that they are excellent as a fidget toy, especially for Minecraft fans, though they are best used combined with other sets.
This does seem a little expensive for a small set but overall I am very happy with these magnetic blocks.
Limited se
Presented here is a collection of 18 magnetic crafting cubes tailored for mining aficionados.
The set is housed in a plastic case that, while not particularly eye-catching, it clearly displays the contents.
The cubes seem to take cues from a famed block-centric mining game, yet the print quality on the blocks doesn’t quite meet the desired clarity and definition.
Each cube is crafted from sturdy plastic, features an internal magnet, and connects seamlessly with its counterparts. This set is an ideal gift for devotees of expansive sandbox-style construction games, although the limited count of cubes in a single pack may somewhat constrain creative possibilities with this one being only enough for a tree and some land for it to sit on.
My son is loving the magnetic side of these blocks. 🧲
I recently got the Kid Odyssey Magnetic Blocks, Build Mine Magnet World Set for my autistic son, who also has a missing chromosome.
He loves toys like this, and this set was no exception.
I was a little worried about the size of the pieces, as they seemed smaller than I would have liked.
Despite this, the quality is fantastic.
There are plenty of different patterns and colours to choose from, and the magnets work really well, holding all the pieces together firmly.
It’s a brilliant sensory toy that has kept my son entertained for hours. Just be aware of the size if that’s a concern for you.
Amazing but pricey
These are amazing. The quality is fantastic as the plastic is made very well and there are almost no visible joints of each wall. There are so well made that they are perfectly equal to each other so the builds will be looking very cool. They are all printed which makes them even better and more durable. Each piece has magnets inside that rattle a little bit but I think this is for a reason as each piece attracts each other and there is almost no issue that some cube will repel other one.
However, I think the price is too high. For 18 cubes you are paying 9.99. that is more than 50p per one cube. Also, 18 cubes gives you just a little bit of fun and to make something cool you would need quite few more which would cost you a lot of money.
Overall, these are amazing cubes with very famous game blocks printing woth very good details. However, the price is slightly too much for a little bit of plastic with magnets inside. Refardles of that I still like them and my kids likes them even more.
Good, but no product image or instructions supplied
I am reviewing a set of 18 magnetic mining blocks, house.
I got these magnetic blocks for a 9-year-old who loves mining and he really enjoys playing with them but says this is not actually a house you could build in the real game as you are required to position the blocks diagonally to make the roof.
The blocks seem well made, stick together securely and are easy to build with. I have docked one star though as they come in a clear plastic box without any instructions or even a picture of what you are supposed to be able to build. If you look on the barcode sticker it does use the word “house” but this is not very helpful. I had to load Amazon to show him the product image and then it took him about 30 seconds to construct it.
Great little block se
My young Mine crafting mad daughter really loves these magnetic blocks – the detail makes them look every bit like the ones in the game.
With only 18 blocks in the set, this is definitely more of an add on to the other sets in the series.
The blocks are quite lightweight and they fit together easily, however they’re very small. Having said that, they’re easy for youngsters to build with and although the magnets aren’t the strongest, they hold together well and can be easily pulled apart.
The blocks come presented in a little plastic storage case. They are a bit pricey and it would’ve been nice if they’d been a tad bigger, but on the whole, my daughter is really pleased and thoroughly enjoys building with them.
Fun and engaging
Came in a clear durable plastic storage container. 18 blocks inside a mixture of stones, grass and tree. We got these for our 3 year old and she loves them. Fun, engaging and a great way to explore your imagination. Unfortunately there are not many blocks in this package so limited on what you can do with them. A bit expensive for what you get and the cost will soon add up if you want to expand on what you have and buy more sets. This really is an add on set. However, a larger set with more pieces and different themed blocks would make an excellent birthday gift.
Nice building block set - but at a huge price
The ‘Kid Odyssey Magnetic Building Blocks, Build Mine Magnet World Set for Boys and Girls, 70 Pcs’ looks to be inspired by Minecraft and should go down well with any fan.
The blocks stick magnetically together – strong enough to build but easy to pull apart.
General build quality of the blocks is very good and the set comes across as being of decent quality.
If you want to build something of the level of the demo photos then you will need some very deep pockets as a single box of 70 blocks will not be anywhere near enough.
40 for a single box seems a bit steep in my opinion – especially for an off-brand make, no matter how good the quality is.
One set is not enough...
These magnetic blocks are great fun and any child that is into Minecraft will love playing with them. The only disappointing and frustrating aspect is that, whilst 70 blocks seems quite a lot, you will need to buy multiple sets in order to build anything like the first product listing photo. Also, the brick/window blocks do not appear to be available.
However, despite the above negatives, I would still recommend this product but wish it was cheaper.
Perfect little gif
I got this for my nephew who is loves and plays minecraft so much, so I thought that this would be the perfect little gift to give to him, that also gets him away from the screen for a bit.
The quality of the pieces was great and looks great sitting on his desk, while also being alright for him to put together by himself.
The only downside is the price when compared to what you actually get, and they don’t balance out.
Fun, but pricey
These are obviously mimicking the popular Minecraft video game. Whether or not your children like Minecraft, they would probably still enjoy playing with these colourful blocks.
I only really have one major reservation with these and that is the price. Currently sold at over 30, you aren’t getting a premium toy for that price. However, the magnetic blocks do have a certain simplistic charm.
Super cute for any minecraft fa
My son absolutely loves this
He’s made so many different set ups and really enjoyed playing with this.
I do however have some cons. Firstly, the photos on the box are misleading as they are of different sets. Secondly, the image quality on the cubes isn’t the best, its like cheap printing. Thirdly it is very overpriced for what the item is. Essentially they’re just magnetic plastic cubes.
Greay fun however!
Fantastic!
These Magnetic Building Blocks for my kids, and overall, I’m quite pleased with this. The set comes with 70 pieces of magnetic tiles, providing endless opportunities for creative construction and imaginative play.
My kids, aged 3 and 5, have been thoroughly enjoying these magnetic blocks. They love the vibrant colours and the strong magnetic connection between the pieces, which allows them to build a wide variety of structures.
While the set is great overall, I did notice that a few of the tiles had slightly weaker magnets than others, which can make it a bit challenging to build larger structures. However, this hasn’t been a major issue, and my kids still have a blast playing with them.
Overall, I would recommend the Kid Odyssey Magnetic Building Blocks as a fun and educational toy for young children.
