Decent printer inks
This is a decent set of compatible inks for Epson photo printers. My printer warns me that the inks are not genuine Epson and there is the option to ignore the warning. The output is perfect. Excellent quality and a good price.
Pretty much exactly the same as genuine Epson cartridges
As stated in the headline, these remanufactured cartridges are pretty much the exact same as the Epson ones, but for a fraction of the price. I’ve had no issues at all with the cartridges and the print quality is perfectly fine. I would order these again – however – these do last quite a while considering how often I print.
My go to ink!
Use my branded printer a lot and have only had one set of branded cartridges as I prefer these. They are significantly cheaper and apart from my printer telling me I’ve installed a non branded ink blah blah blah, there is no difference in print quality and no difference in fitting. What’s not to like!
USEFUL AND COST EFFECTIVE INKS

A full set of XL replacement ink cartridges for the Epson XP-Printers.
These sell for 26.99 for the full XL set. Epson will charge in excess of 100 for an XL set of their own inks.
The KINGJET set will make a good cost effective set once you are into the replacement cycle although it is advised to stay with Epson inks during the warranty period. Use of non Epson inks will invalidate your warranty if anything were to go wrong with your printer.
Epson also monitor the use of inks so be warned that your printer will ask lots of questions if it detects non Epson inks, like whether to proceed, do you really want to use these inks etc. Its a form of subtle bullying to make you stay with Epson inks and there was talk of one of their software updates actually preventing the use of non Epson inks ! So just say “yes” to continue/proceed and the printer will eventually accept them. Worried about a potential exclusion update – I just refuse the updates and have not faced any problems.
Now the main question, are the KINGJET inks any good ? They are working well although I did encounter some problems at the start, two colours would not print and needed two head cleaning cycles. This is not difficult although it does use ink. The colours are now working fine but if you are using these printers for purely photos, there may be some slight tonal variations.
Its a choice you have to make whether to compromise if you use the printer for everyday items AND photos — Epson at over 100 for photo quality but wasted on everyday work or KINGJET at 26.99 which is perfect for everyday but may lose a little for top quality photos.
On the whole I am happy with the KINGJET set however I wish they included two black cartridges with the singles for each colour. Everyone knows that the black runs out whilst the colours are only half used.

Good quality ink at a very reasonable price.
Installing them was straightforward and quick.
Once up and running and producing ink it was very easy to see that there’s hardly any difference between the ink these cartridges produce and the official ones I had before these.
Remanufactured inks
Printers can be really expensive to run. So if you do a lot of printing like me then remanufactured inks are really affordable way to run them.
The carts are the XL size. With each individually wrapped inside the box. Fitting is straightforward, however be aware that you printer may recognise that these aren’t OEM inks. I’ve always found there are slight differences in hue and even some saturation when compared to the OEM. However these are very subtle and not really noticeable unless side by side. One other thing to bear in mind is longevity compared to OEM. I can’t comment on how well the prints will stand up over time in comparison but so far so good.
low cost printing solutio
It’s not the first time I am ordering cartridges from KingJet for our office printers, and so far, they have never let me down. Same with this delivery, cartridges arrived as described. They fit into the printer seamlessly, without any errors or messages informing that the printer does not recognize them. After installation, I checked, and the printer was showing the estimated level for all toner at full, so no issues here either.
The quality of the image is alright – colors are very much the same as on original XP cartridges. Very good quality, highly recommended!!!
Comparable Quality To Original Ink Cartridges - At A Fraction Of The Cos
This set of Kingjet six compatible 378XL cartridges (for various Epson printers) comes presented in a cardboard box, useful for stowing cartridges until needed. Inside the cartridges are individually packaged in vacuum sealed transparent plastic. A nice to see step up from loose cartridges supplied in a jiffy bag.
It is important to acknowledge that these are not genuine Epson cartridges, but aftermarket copies. Printer manufacturers warn against using ‘non genuine’ ink cartridges suggesting these may cause problems such as clogging up printheads, and to buy originals instead (at double the price or more). Personally, have been using various remanufactured ink cartridges for several decades without problems. Main thing is to ensure printer is utilised regularly to avoid drying out the print heads – this equally applies to genuine cartridges.
These Kingjet cartridges appear of excellent quality, with updated chips. The packaging and cartridges appear identical to others tried on the market, so suspect they come from a generic oriental source and branded accordingly — in this case ‘Kingjet’. Their take on this product includes pleasing artwork on the box, and a small instruction book. Amongst the instructions was the advice to turn the cartridges upside down for at least 3 minutes before unsealing and inserting into printer. A useful tip as there is a slight risk of ink dripping out from the cartridge pad, which can happen irrespective of whether the cartridge is branded or aftermarket.
In use the ink quality appears identical to the original Epson cartridges, with clear and vivid colours. The printer used (Epson XP-8700) does detect and warn that ‘non-genuine’ cartridges are installed, but this can be safely disregarded. Otherwise, these Kingjet cartridges provide comparable performance to the Epson originals for a fraction of the price, and hence warrants this five star review rating.
