HOB COVERS
Lovely to see the manufacturer has a selection of sizes and styles available for this product. I selected the flower one and managed to get the perfect fit size for our hob. This is a great cover to allow for more prep space and or serving space of you are having a family meet ups / parties and also to protect the glass panels from scratches and damaged between use too. If you are looking to buy, you will already have you desired use but I must say this is amazing quality! I would look to buy again in the future!
Worth it if you have a busy kitche
My stovetop takes a beating between cooking and my cat’s adventures. This cover has been a lifesaver. It fits my hob perfectly, the material is sturdy, and easy to wipe clean. No more stressing about scratches and spills! Plus, it’s given me that little bit of extra space needed when I’m prepping a big meal.
Good if it suits the usage of your family
This cover fits nicely over our standard four ring induction hob, and covers it up well. It comes with cloth loops on the top side so you can hang it up as a splashback behind your hob if you want.
The artwork on ours was grapes and fruit and that didn’t go down that well. I’m not sure if it’s a real photo or AI generated to be honest. At a glance it was fine, but if you are going to stare at this regularly while cooking you’d want it to really suit your taste.
Functionally I like that you can hang it up, it’s basically a desk pad (large mouse pad) for your kitchen hob. If it bothers you putting stuff on there like chopping boards while you’re slicing vegetables, or you want to protect the surface for some reason this seems like a good solution.
Potentially it’s also something that could harbour a lot of germs and mess if you don’t wipe it down regularly so it’s worth paying attention to that and the cleaning instructions/limitations. I wouldn’t cut food directly on it if that’s not obvious.
Because it hangs up easily, this could also be a nice soft mat to use for a craft space or workshop though it won’t be robust or a good cutting service.
Brightens My Day!
This hob mat is a generous size and at 78cm x 52cm covers my cooker top and to spare. The mat is beautifully and brightly printed, it’s made from natural rubber and it’s heat resistant to 200’C.
As soon as I opened it, the colours pleased me. I have the fruits version – splendid with citrus fruits, grapes, peaches – and I’m delighted with it. The mat is easily wiped or washed down by hand and it has a non-slip backing so it isn’t constantly slithering itself floor-ward.
It protects my hob from scratches and dints but better than that, it extends my worktop space by at least half a yard. I’ve a tiny kitchen with a working countertop area of about 12″ square so this mat is a real boon. At last I can have the salad bowl and the chopping board next to each other! It’s excellent quality and a fair price. There’s also a wraparound strap to keep the mat tidy when not in use. I’m delighted with this hob mat and fully recommend it.
Amazing look and very multifunctional
This hob cover offers multi-functional benefits in the kitchen and not only. The design is so attractive and is made of natural rubber, it effectively protects my glass stovetop from scratches and spills and has a great heat resistance Additionally, I can also use it to make food preparation more convenient and clean. I like it alo
I bought this after measuring my cooktop to protect the surface from scratches and damage. Love it. It protects the surface, looks great and provides extra space in the kitchen, but it also acts as a huge hot pad for items taken out of the oven or microwave. I have a small kitchen that gives me plenty of space to put things away without worrying about damaging the glass countertop. I highly recommend

I am becoming a big fan of these hob covers and this is my second one, which comes in a rigid and well-made packaging perfect to be gifted and with stunning colours.
This hob cover is of superb quality and not only protects the glass or ceramic stovetop from scratches, spills, and dirt, but also extends its lifespan.
It has heat resistance up to about 200C; the anti-slip coating ensures stability while providing additional counter space for food preparation.
It’s easy to clean and dishwasher-safe, it’s a practical and space-saving solution. Just remember not to place it on the stovetop while it’s on. Overall, it’s a versatile and convenient accessory in my kitchen.
Hob Protector: Practical and Heat-Resistant!
I hadn’t come across these covers before, and after installing a new hob last year, I was searching for a product to protect it from scuffs, scratches, and cracking. Our steamer pot often sits on top of the hob because it’s too large for the saucepan drawer, which is already full! A heavy landing could easily damage the surface. This cover is the perfect solution. It’s somewhat like neoprene but definitely rubbery. Remarkably, it’s heat-resistant up to 400F and can be cleaned with a simple wipe or placed in the dishwasher! It can be rolled or folded away when not in use.
Personally, I would have preferred an all-black finish – the colourful fruit and nut photo doesn’t particularly appeal to me, but that’s the only downside. Our hob has four plates, and I believe this cover would be wide enough for a six-plate one. Overall, a fantastic product and highly recommended.

What a Brilliant innovation! This is such a good idea. I have a new kitchen on order and I have been think8ng how to protect my hob from scruffs and scratches. This is an easy to clean and heat resistant attractive heavy cover that is superb quality and good value for money at 36.99.
Large enough to cover a six hob top and in a strong and heavy silicone material. I am so happy with this and looking forward to using on a daily basis. I wish I had one of these years ago. Five stars and I cannot recommend highly enough.
Kitchenraku Hob Cover - large size, perfect for protecting hobs
On opening the package I found this to be an exceptional item. The colours are vibrant and the printing is perfect throughout – and it sure has brightened up an otherwise unattractive hob.
Made from rubber and feeling very much like a thick mouse mat, this measures 78cm x 52cm and easily covered the top of my hob with a bit to spare. Whilst care should be taken not to light the hob with the cover in place, or even to put it back in place when the hob is still very hot, I find this to be a very good addition to a kitchen. For people using ceramic or induction hobs that generally have a glass top, these are perfect since they will offer quite a bit of protection.
Along with brightening up a hob, using this cover actually gives some additional workspace, and I think most of us long for more workspace in our kitchens. It’s easy to wipe clean and can even go into a dishwasher if you need to give a thorough cleaning.
I found nothing to dislike about this product. It looks good, it is useful, it offers a lot of protection – especially for glass-topped hobs. Priced at 36.99 at the time of this review for this larger size, that does seem expensive but is a small price to pay for peace of mind – and a bit of extra working space.
Although not shown in a menu on this Amazon sales page, this company offers a smaller size hob cover and it does also offer a number of different colour and print options.
A handy hob protector.
This hob cover is a good size at 78x52cm, which fits my stove nicely and it has a nice decorative pattern printed on.
It can withstand heats of up to 400F, allowing you to place hot plates and pans on it without issue, in turn protecting your hob from any kind of damage from spills, scratches, cracks and grease.
It’s also easy to clean as it can be placed directly into the dishwasher, which I’m yet to do but I’ll update this review if there are any issues.
All in all, it’s a handy hob protector.

This cover has so many uses besides that of protecting the hob.
As a hob cover, it does work extremely well, protecting the top from scratches and accidental damage. It also provides another working surface for small kitchens.
It also doubles as a wonderful working surface for rolling out pastry and icing and preparing food.
It is heat resistant too so is great for protecting surfaces from hot dishes and pans.
Its very easy to keep clean after use and you can put it in the dishwasher too. Very handy.
Great Size Well Made
Great size, well made and looks amazing on the stove, Bright and colourful and is heat resistant. I can now use my stove top as an extra work space without damaging my glass top.
Good produc
This is a well made cover which provides good protection against scratches and spills on the top of my electric cooker and helps keep it clean. The mat is also easy to wipe clean.
The main reason for me getting this cover is that it creates extra worktop space as I have a very small kitchen. As it is heat resistant I am able to take hot dishes and trays straight out of the oven and place on the mat leaving my main worktop free for other food preparation.

Hob Cove
I’ve had the chance to try out this hob cover, and it’s been a game-changer for me! Not only does it shield my cooktop from scratches and spills, but it also extends its lifespan. The added counter space is a real boon, making kitchen tasks much more manageable. Surprisingly, it handles high temperatures with ease, and the anti-slip coating keeps it securely in place. Cleaning is a breeze, whether by hand or in the dishwasher. And the included slap wristband is a quirky touch that adds a bit of fun to the mix.
Good and useful.
This is a large silicon (presumably) sheet with a colourful image applied to the top surface; ideal for cooker hobs once they’ve cooled a bit. The quality is very good, little odour and heavy enough to stay put. One negative: the illustration was of flowers but the delivered item was various fruit.

We do not have an induction or ceramic hob!
But when the listing mentions that it is made of thick and heavy rubber material, I could not help but think ‘Very large and substantial mouse mat’ and that is certainly the form factor that this is, albeit obviously being repurposed as a cover for a cooker. Just bigger, heavier and of top quality.
Read on as to why I realised I had to have this.
This is actually a brilliant idea for several reasons.
It transforms your hob space into a work space and protects it while using it as such.
Being an ex kitchen fitter, I have been in VERY small kitchens where space is NOT a luxury. So the use of this mat would be a boon for such small kitchens.
I could have sold dozens of these back in the day!
As it is though for my personal use, it has a perfect place.
My motorhome!
Again space is a premium and we have a small table next to the gas cooker where we actually had two extra wide and large mouse mats as a worktop saver fitted.
This mat actually fits this table like it was made specifically for it and obviously looks MUCH better.
I knew I just needed to get this and it did the job just as I suspected.
As a worktop saver or worktop extender if you have an appropriate cooker then I definitely recommend this cover.
