I purchased this product for my husbands birthday, as he a captain of a local volunteer fire brigade and has collected fire memorabilia = he was very excited to add it to his collection and made it over 3 days, it now has pride of place

Great set, so much fun to build!
Turned out to be a lot bigger than I expected due to the wingspan. It probably works best as a shelf piece than an actual toy as parts easily break off and get lost. This being LEGO, everything was the same usual high standard of quality they typically deliver. The pieces all felt solid and clicked in well. I had no issues and had many spare pieces left just in case anything ended up lost.
The building of this was enjoyable and was completed fairly easily by a 12 year old. The instructions are very straightforward. It took several hours to build which was split into a few sessions just simply to extend the enjoyment with this. It makes a nice gift and is a fun hobby.
The usual Lego quality
Like with all Lego sets this one is good quality and comes with good clear instructions that are easy to follow. My 6 year old thoroughly enjoyed building this set and managed most of it on her own. Once built the fire rescue plane is bigger than expected and can be played with or kept on display.
This set is good value for money and would make a great gift for many Lego fans.

Felt very happy to try this out I knew my nephews would love playing with this while at mine.
I Picked them up after school & told them I had a surprise and when we got to mine I had this box out on the table they ran to it and started to do happy jiggles instantly.
I sat down with them and watched them play for a while before I made tea, the imagination on these boys is just amazing! I LOVE how toys like this really bring creative fun to our homes.
They both sulked when they had to stop for tea but as soon as finished (and they raced to finish) they were straight back on this toy, they have some other Lego vehicles which they loved bringing into the mix with this one.
It is really good fun, they are making up stories and characters and subplots its just brilliant to see/hear so much much being had with this.

Great fun to build and will give hours of play
This is an excellent set from Lego, it’s made up of 478 pieces so it’ll keep the builder occupied for a few hours. It’s aimed at the 6+ age group which is about right, the instructions are clear and are very easy to follow. The finished model is a fire fighting plane, which when finished is great to play with or to display. There are no stickers with this set, instead they have printed onto the pieces.
There are 3 mini figures so you can put a pilot and an ‘operator’ into the cockpit of the plane – the 3rd figure can be fitted with a ‘flying jetpack’ to help to put out the fires. There is a small ‘side-build’ to represent trees and flames from a fire, there are a number of clear pieces which represent water – you can release these from the plane as it flies over, to knock over and extinguish the flames.
This is a fun set to build and one which will give hours of play – very happy to recommend.
Wonderful Lego se
I must say this is a rather large Lego set (have uploaded a photo just to show its box size). My first impression, it’s the usual excellent Lego quality with loads of blocks to build, nicely divided and packed in smaller individual bags. This makes it a lot easier to build and there is a very clear and easy to follow instructions manual too.
The set includes a beautiful red firefighter plane, alongside some firefighters and a fire scene. The quality overall is very good and it takes a while to build because there are 478 pieces in total.
As with any Lego set, it’s not really a toy once built, unless you break and build it again. My kid really enjoyed building it over time and was always excited to build. Now as its completed, it’s just sat at a shelf in his room. Overall, I am still very pleased with this building set. It’s a little expensive but Lego sets usually are because of their quality and brand. All in all, I’d happily recommend this set to any Lego fan and rate it a solid 5 Stars!

It’s currently priced at 54.99 which is the expected price for Lego products. I think this would make a wonderful birthday gift, Christmas present or any other occasion. When you’re stuck for an idea for a present for a child, you cannot go wrong with this. I would highly recommend it!
Really fun Lego set!
This fire rescue themed Lego set was super fun to build! As you’d expect from Lego the pieces are top quality, go together easily and the instructions are nice and clear. The plane is a decent size, and I love the interactiveness of it as you open the hatch to release the ‘water’! Overall, great quality set, decently priced for one of the bigger ones too
Ideal for (not too young) children who love building things!
This Lego fire rescue plane set is just great! When the box arrived I was quite surprised at how big it was. As others have already mentioned, it really is packaged well, into individual bags to make it easier to locate the parts and build it up step by step. There are no missing parts, and the instructions are clear and very helpful.
Our fire rescue plane has not actually been built yet, because it is going to be a birthday present for my eldest son (5) in a few weeks time, and I don’t want to spoil the surprise! I just know he will love it as he always loves building various things with the Lego pieces he already owns. He often spends time building towers, houses, cars etc, but he’s never built any kind of aircraft before. So, he is going to love this. I just know it!
At the current price of 54.99p (with free delivery) I think this set is a bit on the expensive side, but I know that you “get what you pay for” and this really is top quality!

Fantastic set!
This Fire Rescue Plane is fantastic! It took some time to assemble but instructions were clear and easy to follow as with all of the LEGO sets. This plane has a lot of features for realistic firefighting play and matches other sets from Lego perfectly. This set improves manual skills and creativity providing many hours of fun.

Encourages concentration for longer periods of time.
My little one is quite fascinated about anything which involves building things or whatever requires assembling together in order to achieve an end result.
In the shops he would always point out and want this type of toys however I just felt that it was not the right age for him yet however now we are at the point where we can safely explore more and he couldn’t be more excited with this set.
Even from the beginning when he was looking inside the pack and taking out all sachets with parts, I could see that he couldn’t wait to get his hands on it and start putting them together.
The instructions are very clear and the quality of the pieces is very good as you would expect from a company with such long history, however care still needs to be taken at every point as some of the parts are very tiny.
The set it’s quite big and represents a firefighting brigade which uses a helicopter to reach fires in remote conditions.
He loves firefighters and seeing him trying to assemble it and further more asking for my help and wanting me to get involved in what he was doing was the icing on the cake.
You just can't beat LEGO. Lots of fun for people of any age.
Its been a long time since I last played with LEGO and after unboxing this my childhood memories came flooding back. The LEGO quality of my youth is still there which was very pleasing as we don’t want the children playing with toys that have sharp edges or can shatter easily.
Once I had finished testing the set it was repackaged for the true recipient and he was extremely pleased and honestly spent most of the day setting it all up and using the LEGO builder App. The App allowed interaction between the classic physical toy and modern learning technology.
Very please with this item and 5* to LEGO for a quality toy.
A fantastic lego se
Ok so i admit i grabbed it for me as its been years since i’ve used lego, its still the exact same quality and awesome. You just cant beat lego, the instructions were clear and simple and put it together in no time at all. Superb! I still love lego!
Good Solid Structure
I’ve found occasionally when you have Lego models of a certain size that they can be a little fiddly to manoeuvre with bits that fall off when using them to play. Fortunately there are no such issues with this set. It’s a good sized item and everything slots in solidly enough. The wings have enough stability that you can hold it by the hull and fly it around the room. Good vibrant colours.
Lego Quality at a Lego Price
I have to wonder if these are really value for money, 55 at time of review, my 12 year old granddaughter put this together and it took her 2 hours, 2 hours of which I have to say she thoroughly enjoyed but once it was together it becomes a rather fragile toy, yes it does drop clear bricks to imitate water but if you use this like a solid toy it will not last long as we found it just falls to bits, of course gluing the bricks might help but would you really want to do that?
Positives- it’s the normal Lego quality and is fun to put together.
Negatives- price, fragility if used as a toy.

A wonderful Lego City 60413 Fire Rescue Plane! It arrives in a satisfyingly big, flatter box, and contains 478 pieces. Always supervise the kiddos, if they’re putting this together – nothing up the nose! lol
This brought back happier memories of looking through catalogues and walking around department stores, wishing to open a large Lego set, and 30 years later, here I am, doing just that. 🙂

Great fun build - with great playability once buil
This came as a mix of paper and plastic bags – presuming using is the plastic bags already made, but nice to see the paper bags.
What a great set, me and my son built this over a couple of evenings and really enjoyed it.
Shoots and drops water once built – to put out Lego fires.
Sturdy once constructed, and good playability once it’s built.

Great puzzle down to the smallest details
A truly meticulous lego, down to the smallest details. It requires time, patience, attention and dedication, which makes me extremely happy because I finally found a kind of activity that would keep my boy away from video games for several hours.
We started to create it in stages, the whole family is involved, we help where needed, but we leave most of the activity to the children, especially since each stage is clearly explained in the two manuals.
I really appreciate that the pieces come organized and separated in individual bags, in which there are even other smaller bags, it’s natural, in such a multitude of small pieces, I think it would take years to complete the puzzle without this tidy packaging.
Very interesting activity, especially for those curious boys who take apart any toy to put it back together out of a desire to discover, to learn.
I recommend with great pleasure, we will consider this set in the future when we have gifts to offer, it will be a real joy for any child. Very good quality-price ratio!
