Excellent excellent product and what I said, I mean. I never thought I’d become expert in LED motion sensor lights but I have. So please let my experience with the bad ones help you make a good choice.
This one here is the best you could possibly do only second to involving an electrical work installation.
I’ve seen the strips, the ropes and other not remotely “light” lights in function and/or appearance. These are straight forward idiot proof to operate, substantial enough to look like a “real” light and not festive dorm room string light Christmas tree rejects.
They are surprisingly sensitive. It’s nearly disarming when I start seeing lights popping on out of the corner of my eye and remember I live with a dog who is probably wandering around and activating them.
I’m in a prewar space that probably even predates electric lights and have no overhead lights. It’s dark in the hallways, kitchen, bathrooms (well, almost everywhere) even in the daytime, so I need lights that can function well but also really want them to look good and as if installed there. Inexperienced, I didn’t realize what a tall order this was!
These trip on at least 5-8′ feet away, even at angles. You are able to control warm or cool light (I like warm light, it mimics incandescent) able to control the strength brightness, very easy to operate, as good battery life as I’d imagine these have generally. I by no means feel like im constantly charging and they function on “night” mode practically 24 hours for me. Keep them on a lower brightness level and set to turn on for about 30 seconds per activation. You’ll have to charge more often likely to operate constantly. What a great price too!
I was so impressed with these that I’ve even made my first ever vide review for Amazon 🙂 so go ahead and check it out Ha!
I hope this helps inform your decision.
Anni Vanderbeek recommended these as the best she had found on Amazon I took a chance, especially because these were more expensive and took longer to ship since they were coming from the US. Whenever I take a chance on a product and influencer, it’s like a 50-50 This is definitely a winner. Are under the stairs storage for which we have never had a light now has four lights making it as bright as a standard now I can see everything clearly the motion sensor definitely works. They are a little cooler than I would’ve imagined from the description which works just fine for our purposes but if you were using them for let’s say accent lighting I don’t know if I would be so happy with the tone but maybe that can be changed. I’m not sure.

Enlighten your darkest cupboards
Great practical addition to any space you need to brighten. Rechargeable and detachable from mount very handy to have. Purchased this when on special offer that made is even more of a great buy.
These are great, lightweight but don’t feel cheap at all. 3 tone settings, 3 options for the motion sensor and 5 or 6 brightness settings.
Come supplied with a mounting bracket and the light itself is magnetic. With this design it means you can easily grab it to use as a torch if necessary.
They should arrive with around 80% battery so can be used immediately
I would say though, don’t trust the sticky pads that come with them as regular they stay where you put them, the plastic bracket has a slight texture so it won’t securely adhere to the pad. This has resulted in a couple of drops unfortunately but the lights don’t seem to have been harmed.
Best I’ve found yet for boo
I use mine in my boot as the one light in the wee hours is poor , this is good , good light , doesn’t jolt on as I drive and stays put in its holder .
Magnet not strong enough
Good and convenient, but the light sometimes fall down without anyone around. When that happens, some parts got separated and require reassembly. Each time, I’m just hoping it doesn’t break!
A must if you need ligh
Brilliant brilliant got a understairs cupboard and no light no plug. Was gunna get a electric plug put in but was expensive so decided to try this … And it’s brilliant set it to come on when you open door turn off if you forget to close the door and rechargeable so no battery needed so bright would definitely recommend
We live in an old house and the closets are small and dark. These lights are better than I imagined! Fir right into the lip of our door and on night setting come on when door is open. Works perfect!

Easy to position. Good light options
Needed a thin light to fit above a door, this exactly fitted the bill. Used the self adhesive strip to hold the base, no problems and easy to position, which is adjustable if you need to change angles, so that the light and sensor are aimed where you need it, 3 styles of light, even the lower light is sufficient for my requirements. Can easily be picked up to use as a torch. Very happy and have decided to purchase another one.
These are the easiest to install. They come with both extremely tiny screw or double stick tape to attach to the wall. The lights pop easily in and out to charge, no batteries or cords to deal with. You can have them always on, or nighttime sensor. You can also determine how bright you want them to be. I put one up in the kitchen for both added light when cooking, and when I walk into the kitchen at night. It works fantastically! The other one I added to my pantry for extra light. I actually bought these by mistake, I was looking for the smaller flatter ones you can take traveling for nightlights in hotel bathrooms, however they are one of my favorite purchases.

Satisfied
Using these under a kitchen cabinet. Does what I hoped in that it only goes on when I’m working on the counter and not when I’m just walking past.
The best part of it is that you can rotate it to adjust where the light goes and where the sensor responds. Light quality seems good and brightness is ok. I’ll be fine with that if battery lasts. I’d prefer it if it stayed on a bit longer but it’s ok.
Not pleased with installation though. The 3M pads are problematic because the holder is not smooth plastic but ridged so that there is little for the pad to hold onto. I used screws but they are super tiny. I tried to use slightly larger screws just for ease of handling but the holes won’t accept any larger screws. If they resigned the holder it would be a five star produc
So, I purchased this light because I wanted to get rid of another lamp I have on my desk. The previous lamp that I had took up too much space and overall, it was just inconvenient for me to keep. This lamp lasts long (on the little handbook it says it can last 5hrs at max brightness) and comes with a cord (you'll need to find a charger block for it). The adhesive is strong, as well as the magnet. I also really like how there are different light shades. In general, this is a very high quality lamp for its price :).

They are great under cabinet and closet lights. I have them in a closet and under cabinets in the kitchen and bathroom. The bathroom is on a softer setting so your not blinded in the middle of the night. We charge the closet light about every 3 months and the kitchen and bathroom weekly. We’ve gotten to the point that the bathroom light is only on when we are showering. In most cases we just use the under cabinet light.

I am looking for something like this to replace the light over a sink. Well this isn’t it. While it’s bright, it’s not bright enough for a work light over the sink. This will be fine for something like a curio shelf. I’m keeping it as it to port in a closet for extra light. I think it will work fine for that. It changed quickly. I’ll have to see how long the change lasts. Will update on that later if I remember. You can change the warmth of the light so as I started, this will be good for a curio shelf. It comes with options to use screws or double face tape so you don’t have to put holes in your shelving unit. Big plus there. The motion sensor seems pretty quick to engage. Not a noticeable delay to turn on so that’s very nice. Good working distance also. It has a on setting to use as a flashlight but as a flashlight I would give it 1 star. Not very functional in that mode. Maybe an awkward lantern but not a flashlight.
Oh yea, I bought this as I buy everything out here so I don’t have issues trashing something that isn’t what they say it is. Overall, just a secondary light source.
I love this magnetic light! I recently moved into a home built in the ’50s which doesn’t have built-in closet lighting. All of the closets have metal door frames so I opted for magnetic lighting. Not long ago I bought a magnetic motion light similar to this one but it was from a different brand. That light is also great BUT the price for it was over $12 more than this one. I was thrilled when I found this one for sale, although I was initially worried that this light would not compare to the more expensive brand. It turned out to be exactly as described and in some ways even better! Here’s how:
-The light has the ability to switch between warm and cool lighting modes as well as 3 brightness levels. This is very important to me because I suffer from migraines that are easily triggered by bright, cool lights. The warm option is my favorite.
-Being able to rotate the motion sensor helps to ensure the light turns on when you actually want it to, as opposed to turning on just because you were nearby. Mine activates when I reach into the closet which is exactly what I want.
– The red & green indicator light let’s you know when it’s fully charged
– It has “pass through” technology so it also works while plugged in. This is great if you need constant light for a longer period than the battery allows. Just plug it in to a nearby USB block or outlet. My light from a competing brand won’t turn on while charging, so I love this feature.
-Because it’s magnetic, the light sits perfectly on the metal upper door frame of my closet and is very easy to move as needed.
-The battery life has been impressive so far, especially when you use it in motion sensor mode.
Overall this is a great magnetic LED light offered at a fair price point. I plan to buy one or two for every closet in my house. I also have metal cabinets and plan to buy some to place inside the cabinets. Being able to see into spaces that are normally dark without having to install complex, expensive lighting makes me happy!
