    works smooth and fine
    The shipping is fast.

The whole thing looks good shape and premium. As a Carbon fiber leg Tripod the weight is lighter than metal tripods , and the material quality is very good. The assemble is easy by simple screwing work. It works and rotate smoothly and stable, the leg is also strong and keeping balance sturdy well when mounting even heavy equipment. Very nice choice and I think it can be used last.

Great tripod. Lightweight, clip release leg extenders and spikes at a reasonable price
Though not a tripod expert, I did quite a bit of research and price comparisons before purchasing this tripod. At this price point, it can be hard to find spikes for the feet. The Neewer 62″ CF Tripod comes with spikes, which is really essential. The clips that hold the legs and release to extend them are another hard to find feature at this price point. I prefer them to the sometimes confusing screw legs. It is also hard to find a tripod this lightweight.

The quick release plate that holds the camera is another great feature, as is the 360 degree panoramic ball head that allows you to tilt the camera 90 degrees to take portrait shots (as opposed to landscape).

For me, the tripod has worked very well so far, once indoors, once outdoors at a park. Though admittedly my camera is relatively lightweight (around 2 pounds, with lens — Canon EOS RP with 24-105 f/4-7.1), the tripod has held it very steady.

A great carbon fibre tripod from NEEWER. With loads of nifty features.

This is yet another great product from one of my favourite companies I’ve worked with. NEEWER have always impressed me with their products for video and film production. They pack a great deal of features and quality for a fantastic price.

    The build:
This is a carbon fibre tripod that is built for multi environmental use. From a winter snow storm to a summer rain the LT32 can cope with it all. This unit features tubular carbon fibre legs, with metal clamps that can be deployed in seconds. Each of the 4 sections can be adjusted for maximum stability, in ruff or uneven terrain. The tripod can be adjusted from a compact 17″x2.6″/43×6.5cm to 62 inches or 157cm in hight. The metal clamps feel very steady and feature a longer wedge design insuring ease of use in changing weather conditions. It also makes it easer to use with a small pair of gloves on those cold winter days. The centre tube can be reversed for macro photography at a hight of of 7.5″/19cm. It also features a hook if you need to add a sandbag for stability. Perfect for those days where the wind might be a bit gusty. The camera mount is a 360 panoramic ball head base (30mm) allows a +/-15 quick levelling and dual U slots for 90 tilt, easily lockable with a flip buckle. It includes a 1/4″ to 3/8″ screw adapter and a tripod camera mounting base adapter that can be attached to the center axis, allowing for interchangeable use with other tripod heads. A bubble level lets you keep the camera straight at a glance. Insuring perfectly level shots most of the time.

    load capacity:
22lb/10kg load capacity (10lb/4.5kg with ball head)

    The extra features:
The 1/4″ mounting screw on the QR plate is suitable for DSLRs, camcorders, action camera mounts, and phone holders. Two 1/4″ threads on the tripod spider can connect magic arms, ball head adapters, and other accessories for professional creations. Nonslip foot pads are removable for installing spikes, which allow the tripod to stabilize on sandy, rocky, and muddy terrains.

    In use:
The tripod is very easy to setup only taking 2 minutes from start to finish. This includes level checking with the included fluid levelling ball and then with your internal cameras gyroscope. The quick release plate makes it easy to mount your camera of choice in seconds. The fact that it is so light coming in at an impressive 2.6lb/1.18kg and it can fit inside it’s small carrying case. Makes it ideal for longer treks to find that perfect location. The interchangeable feet also provide a wider ranger of shooting possibilities.

    Final thoughts
If you are willing to spend a little bit extra dosh on a companion accessory for your DSLR, bridge or vintage camera. Then this definitely should be on your short list. With most features and build quality found on 3x more expensive units. This will impress you without a doubt, for the price. You are getting all the features you could ever ask for. Plus an all carbon fibre build, that will last you years to come. Another winner in my books. 5 out of 5 stars

Great tripod. Only rotates when centre not extended.
The whole tripod is nice but it’s not quite the Ulanzi it is a copy of.
I would expect a Neewer product to be very nearly as good as the item it is a copy of but this one falls short.
Get the Ulanzi zero 38 instead. I wish I did.

    Good design & portable
I bought this as I recently got back into photography and I wanted a lightweight tripod that can attach to my bag. It’s definitely attachable to the bag with the included bag/sleeve and the straps.

I’ve only used it twice for brief periods and it works as expected, although I had to think about the lock on the head to attach the camera (user error).

Only thing I would say is its not as light as I thought it would be so far.

I’ll update this as and when I get to use it more.

I will admit, I haven’t been out with it yet. it seems well put together. It’s lighter, smaller closed, taller opened, easy to use, than my current travel tripod. I love the quick release safety that works with my peak design clip. ….. PS I really didn’t need another tripod but this is pretty cool.

Golden Review Award: 9 From Our UsersGreat combination of features
I probably own too many tripods, but I’m consistently on the hunt for the ‘ideal’ tripod.

I started out with the Peak Design tripod — although, I opted for the alumnium version. I’m pretty heavily invested in Peak Design hardware and have a lot of their mounts so finding something that is compatible with a Peak Design mount is a requirement. The Peak Design is great from a compactness standpoint, and the rotating ball head and control is great. However, I wasn’t willing to pay the $$$ for the carbon fiber, and one of the biggest critiques of the Peak Design approach is that there’s no pan mode.

Next, I picked up a Ulanzi Zero Y — this one is carbon fiber, offers a pan capability, has a similar profile to the Peak Design, so it’s super portable. It does work with the peak design mount, but it only locks the plate in place on one axis, so if you aren’t careful, the camera could theoretically slip out or come loose in the mount along the non-secured axis. There are lots of ways to compensate for this, but when you have a nice camera and lens on the tripod, it’s something you should not have to worry about. The mount on this is also not a quick release so it relies on the screw for tension. On the plus side, it offers many of the same capabilities as the Peak Design tripod along with mount points for accessories, AND, you can pan with it.

So, why buy the Neewer? Well, for one, the price is exceptional. Neewer comes in cheaper than both Ulanzi and Peak Design by a long margin. The quality of build is great – the clips on the leg are made of metal (far better than the plastic clips that break over time with usage). The Neewer comes with a quick mount that works really well with the Peak Design mount, albeit, with some limitations. The quick release is super secure and motion is restricted in all directions. The one downside is that the mount will not necessarily work with other arca style mounts that can have a wider footprint. This is not an issue for me, but just something to call out. The ballhead stem is also slightly different than the other manufacturers. Neewer’s stem is round — the advantage of that is you can actually pan the camera by just loosening the stem lock (although the stem can’t be extended when doing this). It was a nice ‘feature’ to discover.

Other than that, the Neewer checks all the boxes — the carbon fiber material reduces the weight, it has the quick mount, it has the quick positioning ball head, has accessory mount points and much more!

    Reliable for every sho
This tripod has been a dependable ally in my photography ventures. Its lightweight yet robust design makes it a breeze to carry around on shoots. The quick leveling and panoramic head have been game-changers for capturing those perfect landscape shots. It’s been particularly useful for astrophotography, providing the stability needed for long exposures. The versatility in height adjustment and its compact folding size are what make it stand out. It’s not just a tripod; it’s a reliable tool that enhances the quality of my work.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersBeautifully designed, lightweight sturdy travel tripod that is on a par with very bes
As with cameras, the best tripod is the one that you have with you. Large, conventional aluminium tripods are great for the studio but not ideal when going on holiday, especially when every kg of weight counts. A few years ago, I bought a Peak Design Carbon Fibre Travel tripod, which had a great combination of sturdiness, compact design and barely weighs more than 1 kg. It goes wherever I go and has helped me produce some lovely photographs.

I was therefore interested to see how the Neweer TP62 compared. It is less than half the price of the Peak Design but is beautifully crafted, with lovely design features. Like the Peak Design, it has an integrated ball head, with one-lever tightening device that is compatible with Arca-style plates. This is perfect for me as I use these plates for my Peak Design Slide Lite camera straps.

Fitting the camera to the tripod is quite easy: you just push down the plate onto the top of the head and then slide the side lever forwards to lock into place. This was quite easy to master. Adjusting the ball head is also simple: the side lever opens to reduce friction on the ball. It can be partially opened for finer adjustments.

I was really pleased to find that this tripod comes with a set of spikes, which are ideal when shooting on rough ground, as well as a universal head adapter. I had to buy the spikes as an extra for the Peak Design as they are essential for landscape photography. Fitting is spikes is easy, using the supplied Allen key.

I tested the tripod on a recent trip to Iceland, taking pictures of the Aurora Borealis. t was a challenge getting to know the tripod in the pitch black dark skies so I was pleased how easy it was to set up, attach the camera safely and then disassemble once we had finished shooting. The tripod did a great job of keeping my Canon R6 steady during 10 to 15 second exposure times.

I am really impressed by this tripod and can recommend it to anyone who wishes to use their camera whilst travelling for astrophotography, landscape or even “proper” selfies! It is a joy to use, does everything the Peak Design does and is very easy to pack in a suitcase.
