I bought these for my 3 year old to make for Christmas gifts.
They were perfect. My son was so excited when he saw these and couldn’t wait to paint them.

Original- So a lot of folks complained about size. These are smaller, sure. But my three year old is loving painting them. He’s not too concerned with detail yet, though. Every kid is different. I have enjoyed making some with him so far. My biggest complaint is the paint provided. It’s not a big deal in our house as we are a bunch of crafters and have paint galore on hand for stuff. But this could be disappointing for a different household, I suppose. Every other color is near empty or actually empty. Others are full and all that. But it is a little disappointing. And these aren’t leaked out in packaging or anything. Just look like they were barely filled or something.
That said, they are a hit with our toddler. It’s something to do on rainy days. We can paint them and then repaint them if we want. And I like that we can hang them on the fridge to admire. 3/5 stars just because I think the paint issue could be disappointing for some folks.
I run a small home daycare and this was an adorable craft for the kids. There is enough of an assortment that they can each choose something they liked. They were very excited. The only thing I didn’t use was the paint, because it was a bit dried up. Could probably have revived it, but I had my own paint so it wasn’t worth the time. Magnet isn’t incredibly strong, but it works. I would buy this kit again.
This was so cute! My kids age 7 and 4 loved this little project so much they finished all 15 magnets in one sitting. There were 12 different color paints, 3 size paint brushes, and the quality of the wood and magnets were fine, no flaws. The quality of the paint was great, good coverage and opacity for covering up the wood. The glitter glue and sticker gems were a great addition. All in all its definitely worth the price for a fun project that will keep kids entertained for at least an hour.
