Balance between print quality and portability is what is important.
I needed for my job a solution so that I could print quick reports on the spot of intervention, so I needed a smooth portable printer.
This solution is perfect, light in weight, and still good quality printing.
So a perfect buy in my opinion.

    Cool
My boy got really excited when we received the printer. He can’t wait to study now! The customer service was great in helping us to troubleshoot charging issue (refer to picture in my review for solution). I’m definitely recommending this to all my friends and family!!

A Fantastic Product! It Really Surprised Me.
What can I say about this printer other than it has turned out to be one of those rare products that does exactly what it says in an efficient way.

The printer itself is well packaged tightly and securely in a nice box, with a USB-C Cable, a USB-A adaptor cable has been included also (a nice touch for people who still need it) and a clear, short and simple instructuin booklet, which perfectlt explains how to connect the printer via cable or via bluetooth to either a PC or Mobile Phone.

The printer has a small footprint, which I inagine will be helpful for travel and doesn’t take up much room on my desk, it feels well built and is sleek in design, with a nice Matte Black finish and looks more expensive than it is in terms of quality. It also had a small roll of Thermal Paper already included inside the printer which was really helpful!

I opened the box and had the printer set up, the driver downloaded and installed (PC for me) and my first document printed in less than 10 minutes! Everything was clearly laid out, with simple designs and it worked without issue. I wasn’t expecting that at all.

The document itself was much higher quality in finish than I expected and will be perfectly acceptable for notes, labels and even letters as it didn’t have any smudges, you just need to trim the page carefully for an official letter.

I believe this type of thermal printer was originallly invented for use for receipts in shops or shipping labels and this is just a re-worked slightly fancier one for sizes all the way up to A4 paper size which has been improved from the simple older designs.

With so many printer manufacturers taking advantage with anti-consumer practices with ink pricing, predatory subscriptions etc….. This was the perfect solution for me, I want my money to go to a product and manufacturer that deserves it not one that takes advantage, hence the praise 🙂

Tldr; Buy one today, you won’t be disappointed!

Pros: Great compact design, sleek matte black finish, good cable and adaptors included, simple clear instructions booklet, easy driver / app download, free roll of thermal paper inside the printer, document quality surprisingly impressive for this type of device! Price reasonable and best of all you NEVER need to buy ink again.

Cons: Just remember it doesn’t print in color (which is not a problem for me) it does require thermal or thermic paper (53/80/110mm) which has a slight glossy finish and be careful to ensure paper is smooth and clean if your printing an official letter but I can’t really think of any negatives.

A fantastic product and when something exceeds expectations, It should receive deserved feedback, especially nowadays.

    I hope this helped! 🙂

    Small and amazing
This is a great little printer. It’s easy to use. The instructions are very simple and easy to follow. The app is great too as it stores the files that you have printed or want to print. If you are after a printer that does the job and saves a lot of space then this is the one for you.

For on the goor people who don't print much.
Now the thing that would make this worth it is it’s portability. It is not to replace a normal printer in cases where a lot of printing is required. This is mostly for on the go situations where a printer is needed for little amount of printing. The price is quite high and the thermal paper is quite expensive too. So I find it is probably mostly worth it for people who want to use it on travels as it is very portable, small and compact.
It is easily used with a phone or computer/laptop. The quality of printing is good and seems ok in my experience. It doesn’t print color, only black and white.
When printing photos they get a bit pixelated and not as soft as the app would make you think it will get.
this one comes with a paper roll and only works with thermal paper, which is quite expensive. How I don’t print to much and on the long run it is probably more worth it than using a cartridge one as they tend to dry up because I don’t use them often. So for the amount I need it it is worth it as I am not wasting money.
with the paper roll I don’t think is a good option for contracts or formal documents, so probably better with A4 standard thermal paper. So far good price for what you get.

    I absolutely love this product.
I bought it cos my printer had ran out of cartridges and was proving too expensive to buy.
    I like this thermal printer
idea. I don’t mind that it’s only prints in black and white cos most of the time I’m printing letters.
    The app is great too.
I would definitely recommend this and the price was good.

This is perfect for just labels or straight forward black and white printing. I only need occasional printing so this is perfect. I hated having bulky printers in the past and had constant connection issues. This was so easy to set up, pops back in the drawer when I’m finished. Excellent little printe

Golden Review Award: 12 From Our UsersInk-free is so much easie
I’m the sort of person who doesn’t need to print very often. I loathe dealing with inkjet printers and their associated issues (ranging from wifi connection issues through to the cost of ink). The majority of things I need to ever print are labels for packages or text documents. Imagine my delight when I received this.

    First, let’s cover the negatives:

    – Requires an app (“Phomemo”) on your phone in order to print
    – Doesn’t support bluetooth printing from Windows (i.e. you must connect with cable)
    – Kind of loud during printing (but not excessively so)

If your intention is to set this in a corner and print to it wirelessly from a PC, this isn’t the right device for you. If you don’t mind connecting it with a cable, then it’s an excellent choice.

The print quality of photos isn’t great, but that’s to be expected from a device like this. You could of course still print photos with it and enjoy some low-res black and white photos, if that’s your thing.

Let’s go over some of the positives:

    – It’s tiny: it’s only slightly wider then a piece of A4 paper along its shortest edge
    – It can fit a roll of thermal paper inside: One is even included with the printer
    – It’s moderately fast at printing documents: Not faster than most modern inkjets, but still acceptable
    – Print quality of documents and line art ranges from acceptable to exceptional

This device would be excellent for someone who needs to print a significant number of invoices or labels and isn’t prepared to pay for ink that costs more per ml than almost anything else on the planet.

Overall, I give it 5 stars because it delivers what it promises, and my hopes that maybe Bluetooth would work with Windows isn’t something it promises so I’m not rating it down for that. I’d like to see that supported, maybe via a firmware update, but I’m not holding out hope.

Like many other customers, I do not print often and I am sink of ink cartridges drying up and becoming useless. So instead of buying a laser printer that uses toner (which is expensive, but doesn’t dry out like ink cartridges do), I decided to give this thermal printer a go, considering it was on offer at 118.

I just unboxed it and set it up with my iMac (fairly easy – just download the driver and you should be ready to go – although, I did need to unplug it and plug it in again after installing the driver in order for the Mac to detect it).

The printer comes with a roll of paper which I didn’t use because I bought some thermal paper from Brother instead (search Amazon for B01NAGWBU2).

I have just printed my first document and I have to say, the quality is impressive considering there is no ink, and it is perfectly acceptable for the odd letter you might need to write. The only problem is that the margins seem to be a bit off – it prints very near to the top of the A4 paper, so I ended up having to add a few more empty lines at the top of my letter – once I did that, it printed with the spacing at the top as I expected / wanted.

The printer also includes a carry pouch (which will help to keep it clean) and it also came with a USB A to USB C cable, as well as an adapter – so whilst the printer uses USB C connection type, it does not matter whether your computer uses USB A or USB C because everything you need is in the box (which is a nice touch!).

So in summary, I think this is a good printer but only if it lasts me 10 years (and I will update this review if anything goes wrong in that time!). I only need to print a few things each year, so this seems ideal for me. I love how it’s very small so I can just stick it in my laptop bag, or a cupboard, when not in use.

The build quality of the printer seems very good too – it’s a solid bit of kit – nothing flimsy about it at all.

So for 118, I would recommend this item. If the price was any higher though, I would probably put it towards a laser printer as I don’t think this is really worth more than 120.

This is a great little printer. no more spending a fortune on ink and not more big printer that I have to keep getting out to us. . It is less than a foot long works of wifi. paper already supplied. Comes with a pouch and lead for charging up. Just down load an app and select your paper and go. Easy to do from your phone. Would defo recommend it. Well worth the money.
