The single yellow ball heats up well and lasts. I’ve been using the same ball for a good 5 to six hours so far and all is well. Well packed and good quality. Good price too. If you’re new to the game then go for a red or blue dot to start with.

I recently treated myself to this tube of squash balls, and I’ve been having an absolute blast on the court ever since. As a bit of a squash enthusiast, I appreciate the variety of speeds available from the zippy Elite Double Yellow Dot to the more forgiving Beginner Red Dot. The balls feel well-constructed and have held up nicely through some intense rallies. Plus, the fact that they’re WSF approved gives me peace of mind that I’m playing with top notch equipment. Whether you’re a seasoned pro or just starting out, these balls cater to all skill levels. I’d highly recommend them to any squash player looking for a reliable, versatile set of balls to up their game.

I am not a pro but do play regularly to keep fit and the enjoyment. I have used other brands like Dunlop and these play pretty much the same way. You always need spare balls as they need replacing quite soon if you play every week or less often if you play less often.
Reasonably priced in a convenient tube.

As a seasoned squash player, I wanted to pick up some red dot balls for training, especially in the winter

A lot of amateurs seem obsessed with wanting to use double yellow as “that’s what pros use.”

Yes, but you’re not a pro

I highly recommend those who want to work on their game or even have a more fun game use an appropriate ball

Even at a high club standard I try and use a single yellow dot ball in the winter when I can.

I got these red dots mostly for solo training which means I don’t have to work hard to keep them warm. Dunlop don’t do these any more which is a shame, they have progress balls which are bigger.

So far so good. I’ve done a training session with these on a cold court and really happy that I didn’t have to keep hitting the ball hard to keep it warm

Really happy so far and again – coming from a high standard club player of more than 25 years, if you want to improve your game, for the love of God stop being obsessed with double yellow dot balls.

I go through squash balls at quite a rate as I play regularly and also for a club team and typically double yellows will last us a few games before we discard them. These balls by Raquex are decent enough and play as well as some of the more known brands we use. The first one I used however did burst during it’s second match but then I’ve had balls from premium brands that haven’t lasted that long and this can sometimes be expected if you think of what these are put through. The next ball has faired better and has played as well as any other I’ve used. Recommended.

Nice and soft, consistent material, squash balls, although the injection moulding process could do with a bit
of refining as the mould seam is quite pronounced when the balls are cold. However, because double-yellow is a soft & slow ball, they warm up quite quickly and bounce quite nicely for beginners. A decent set of balls that won’t bust your b… bank account balance!

Disclaimer: I’m disabled so I have relied upon the opinion of a friend who plays for usability. Observations other than play are my own.

Playing squash with these Raquex Elite Double Yellow Squash Balls was very similar to playing with double yellows from other brands, such as Dunlop, Wilson, Staff, etc, but as they are produced to the same World Squash double yellow standard, so they should be. The price is very similar too.

I am unconcerned what brand’s logo is on the outside of the squash ball I play with. The only noticeable variation between squash balls, in my view, is how long they last before they split at the seam; hopefully, it will be a really long time before these Raquex balls can demonstrate their superior quality (if they are superior) in that respect. Let’s hope they don’t take only a short time to disappoint me!

Only when some failures have occured am I likely to be able to more definitively state my views on the Raquex balls’ relative merits compared to other brands, though I would wait until several Raquex balls had become unserviceable before doing so, because just 1 or 2 would not be a fair sample. Should they prove to be outstanding or disappointing, I will amend this review.
