    Lovely produc
Lovely product. Unfortunately needed to return as it didn’t charge my phone. Nothing wrong with product though as it charged other devices. So make sure you check your make/model is listed!! I naively just took USB C to mean it fitted my phone and would work.

    Solid made car phone charge
Looks and feels a solid and well made charger that is be plugged into the car power socket.

It can charge two seperate devices at the same time, both being charged at a rapid charge.

A nice little adapter which is pleasing to the eye, and will blend in with any car interior.

A good choice at a reasonable price, you won’t be disappointed.

    Well built and charges fas
A good quality car charger which appears to be well made. Has a bright blue ring light around it which looks great although a bit bright for my liking. Has a voltmeter which can be handy and gives you the reading of your car battery voltage. It charges my phone at fast charging speeds, and comes with a single USB A to USB C cable. Keep in mind that both ports are USB A ports and it has no USB C ports. Overall works well!

    Tight fi
Not sure if it’s just my car or what, but this seems to be a super tight fit – needed a hard push to insert it – it certainly won’t fall out of it’s own accord! I can’t confirm voltages or exact power output, but it seems to charge my iPhone almost as quick as using a mains powered one, whilst at the same time, powering a dashcam. One thing to be aware of though, it has 2x USB A type sockets, so you might need to invest in A to C type cables if you have newer devices.
I like the illuminated blue ring around the type, along with the built in volt meter, although I found the blue ring to be quite bright initially – but you get used it after a few days. The body is metal (they claim zinc alloy) so should stand up to everyday wear and tear quite well. I have 2 ‘niggles’ though – it sticks out from the dashboard further than some, and the voltmeter lettering and ‘QC3.0’ are upside down to each other. Apart from these two (fairly) minor things and coupled with the price point, it seems to be a really good adapater.

    Solid performe
Looks and feels like a premium product. Used over a couple of weeks in the car, mainly charging my S22 Ultra phone. It claims either 12 or 24 volts, 3.5 Amps input. I could only check this on my 12 volt car system which was reading 14.4V. I later checked the voltage on a test rig and the voltage was reading accurately.
It also claims to be QC3.0 compliant on both individual outputs of 5V / 3A, 9V / 2A and 12V / 1.5A. Checked fast charging protocols and found to be as described and my phone charged accordingly. My only niggle is that the input voltage display reading doesn’t match up with the QC3.0 lettering orientation. Otherwise, a solid performer and I can recommend it with 5 stars.

A very sturdy and well designed product that looks and works great. Not sure about the power display
This is a really solid product, made from a metal material and it looks really nice in the grey colour that it’s finished in. It look even better in the dark when it’s plugged in and lit up. Hopefully you can see the nice blue ring around it in one of the attached pictures, and with the power display in the middle it looks really cool. It has a total output of 36W so you will have no problem fast charging devices through this

Although that power display in the middle looks really nice I can’t really see how useful it is. Most people know that the standard output from a car battery is normally 12V. In the pictures you can see that I tested with two different phones and the power display was initially 11.7v and it fluctuated slightly when I was charging the phones, and it was then showing 11.5 and 11.6 V – so about where you would expect it to be. I first thought it would display the amount of power that the device plugged into it was drawing, in which case it would have been a lot more useful. When I went to test it in the car, I soon realised that all that display is showing is the power coming into that charger. To me this is just a useless bit of information and a big opportunity missed, as they could have displayed the power being drawn for each device and then both ports combined – which would be a lot more useful.

I was going to gift this product to someone and expected it to come in a nice little cardboard box so that it looked like a nice expensive product. If you have a look at the pictures you can see the transparent blue plastic bag that this actually comes in. I can’t gift it to anyone in a bag like that as I don’t want to end up looking like a cheapskate. However, as the product is really well made and really does fast charge my phones, I will definitely be using it and just upgrading the single port charger I currently have in my car. If you look at the price, then you will see this is an absolute bargain for the price so it’s definitely worth purchasing even as it stands currently. The power consumption would have been a nice to have as they went to all the trouble of actually putting a nice display in there, and apart from the packaging, I just can’t fault this on anything else. At it’s current price of 7.99 (current price) it is excellent value and a great little bargain.

    Works grea
Charger works exactly as I’d hoped and as advertised.

I get a Fast Charge from both sockets.

The voltage reading is accurate and matched with the readings on my multimeter.

The charger is well made and definitely won’t fall apart. It fits the socket in my car nicely, doesn’t wobble or fall out and it fits USB A cables nicely too.

I used it for a long road trip, 6 hours on charge and it didn’t have any issues.

    All good. Recommended.

Fast charges two devices at the same time
I needed a new charger for the back of the car , my old one did not support the power for 2 people using their tablets at the same time. This charger provided a solution. Made of aluminium it is robust enough to survive any abuse it may receive in the back of the car. It does require a firm push to fully seat it in the 12v outlet but when fitted does not wobble or move giving me confidence it is not going to fall out. It comes with one USB A to C cable. It does protrude from the socket but as it is over the driveshaft tunnel it does not get in the way. Plugging it in illuminates the charger making the ports easy to find as well as displaying the cars current voltage (don’t need this but I guess it is helpful for some). Connected a Samsung tablet and phone to the 2 ports and both showed they were fast charging at the same time. The charge monitor on the tablet showed no drop in charging when I plugged in the second device.
Well built with all the normal safety features it represents good value for money.

Works and seems a nice fit in the 12v sockets. Decent quality and shows 12v battery charge
Nice little 12v to USB dual adaptor which shows the 12v battery voltage. The 12v adaptors seems nice quality and fits the 12v socket nicely. USB lead quality is OK

Positives: Good value and works well.
    Negatives: none.

I was given this item to review. I have given my honest unbiased views although I have not been able to test this item for long term functionality and build quality over several weeks.

To sum up my opinion: would I buy it or not. YES

    Brigh
This dual USB charger works well. I needed a new one since my new dashcam had a USB-A connector but the included car adaptor only had 1 USB port on it.

Firstly, this works well powering my dashcam and charging my Samsung Galaxy S21 FE. The first time I plugged my phone in a warning popped up advising slow charging and to check the cable… I hadn’t pushed the adaptor far enough into the socket. A quick adjustment and it has been fine since.

It charges my phone about as quickly as a USB-A wall charger, not as quickly as when charging through a USB-C charger but that is normal and to be expected.

The only minor negative is the blue light / ring is quite bright at night. Due to the position of my car socket it means the blue light is in the corner of my vision. It just took a little getting used to that’s all and now after a week I don’t notice it.

The included USB cable (USB-A to USB-C) is good quality, it’s quite thick and works perfectly for me.

Accurate battery reading with reasonably fast double charge
Several features make it invaluable for me. It is indeed an aluminium alloy. This safeguards it from overheating. The double chargers, particularly the fast chargers, are prone to overheating. And so the alloy is perfect not only for that but for rough handling when you pull it out and pug in without looking.
More importantly, it comes with a fairly accurate for such a piece of equipment a battery charge status. It is critical for my old start/stop battery as it shows whether the battery is sufficiently charged to kick in resuming the engine for idle. I start a ride with around 12V on the display and when this charger shows me 14+ I know for certain the battery operates at full capacity.
I have not seen the charging speed of 36W indicated by the manufacturer just yet, but it does around 5W when charging one fast charge-enabled phone at a time.
It definitely adds value to me so I highly recommend it.

This is useful to keep my phone charged when in the car. Clicks in well and the ports themselves are good. Make sure you have a usb old to usb c cable and you are good to go with a new iPhone. Build quality is good. I like that they have included a cable.

Nice Charger looks good, works well
I ordered this because my old phone charger in the car was driving me up the wall, with moving and not making contact thus not charging things. When I went to put this in the car it was a struggle to get it in, the two electrodes on the side wouldn’t go in. I gave it a stern push, and they went in, good I thought, that won’t slip out like the old one, and sure enough it hasn’t as yet. it has two charging ports, and it says they charge at 18W each, I don’t really have a way of checking this but I’ll take there word for it. It also has a light ring around the top of the unit which probably helps plugging things in in the dark, and also a voltage meter that tells you the battery voltage, now I have something that does this, but goodness knows where so it’s pretty handy to have this built in to monitor battery health. Especially if you might be stopped with the engine not running and the kids charging devices off the battery, at least you can get a feel when to stop them or run the engine for a bit. All in all a good well made device

A good charger but the face plate was applied upside-dow
I already purchased one of these made by another manufacturer for my girlfriend’s car. I really find the battery output display useful so I can keep an eye on the condition of the battery. This product does exactly the same thing and looks identical in everyway EXCEPT that on this product (on my copy anyway) the facia has been applied upside down. It’s not really a big issue, but what this means is that when you have it spun around the correct way to read the voltage display, the print for the words QC3.0 are upside down. It would drive anyone with OCD nuts after a while!

Apart from this, it charges devices as it should, and pretty quickly too. It fits my cigarette light socket perfectly with no slop. You get a USB-A to USB-C cable included also.

A useful charger with battery voltage display for me, but the manufacturer needs to work on quality control a bit.

    Brilliant!
Ordered this to replace an older charger in my car.

First off it feels decently built with solid plastics, there is a thin film over the end where the cables plug in so peel that off before using it.

In use the charger lights up lovely and the display shows the current voltage being supplied to the charger, not the output voltage. This is a bit of a gimmick but handy for checking the output of your alternator.

Both ports are QC3 and my finicky Samsung A34 shows “fast charging” every time, which isn’t the case with all qc3 chargers.

    So great bit of kit!

Reasonably accurate. bright display but a bit awkward to see when two USB cables connected.
It under read the battery voltage by between 0.2 to 0.15 volts when the engine was not running (typical battery voltage 12.4 V) and about 0.4 volts with the engine running (typical battery voltage 14.6 V). At the time a dash cam and mobile phone when connected were taking around 2 Amp ( i.e. around 10 W at 5 V) in total so should be well within its capabilities so I am not clear why there was the battery voltage drop I observed. In any event, the voltage drops are not significant and 5 Volt output to the dash cam and mobile phone was around 5.1 Volts with the engine running and 4.9 V with the engine stopped – remained at 4.9 Volts for the duration of the test of half an hour.

In short it is consistent enough to provide an adequate and stable voltage and current to charge at 10 Watts. I don’t currently have a device needing to charge at 18 Watt which is the maximum stated per USB port for this charger. Samsung phones will charge at higher power ratings than 18 Watts but you wont get this from this adaptor so if that is what you need then look elsewhere.

The battery voltage read out is a nice feature but with two USB connectors in place it is awkward to see. Nevertheless, it is a handy feature and provides a quick check when the engine is running to see if the battery is charging – in general around 14.4V it is and 12.2V or less it isn’t so you are pre warned the car may fail to start in the near future.

For me 18 Watts per channel is enough to charge what I have. With all these types of product longevity is an important issue but it is going to take many months of use to satisfy me it is safe and reliable to use.
One good thing. It appears Rocketec concentrate on only supplying these types of charger so that may bode well for its longer term performance. Time will tell. For now four stars.

    Car adapter+cable kit in one
Plugging directly into your car’s power socket, this charger actually features two USB-A ports of the Quick Charge variety of up to 18W per port; which is very reasonable for a car charger, and actually pretty fast.

Kitted-out with a decent 1.2m long USB-A to USB-C cable, and your all set for charging most devices these days, as most people will already have an A-to-A cables from the millions of legacy devices out there.

The charger is suitable for most vehicles of battery voltage between 12V and 24V (i.e. pretty much most vehicles!), and unusually also has a small screen which advises the user of what wattage is being delivered at any one time over the two ports.

Being made of metal its tough too, it has many protections (over-heating, over-voltage, over-circuit, over-current, over-charging, and even short circuit!), and finally features a useful blue light when in use, so people can see when the charger is working correctly.

I like that you can bend the charger away from the gear stick, and I also like that it shows the battery voltage.
Just to note, I would not leave any of these type of charger plugged in as they all drain the batteries over time, better to plug in as you use it.

    Instant indicator of battery conditio
My car doesn’t get used much and the battery goes flat over several days. This device shows me at a glance what state the battery is in. I now know, in advance, if I need to charge the battery before going out.
