How to use Multi Purpose Smooth Finish Filler
Before you start
Make sure the surface and cracks are dry and clean from grease, dust and other contamination.
Application
- Pack the filler into the area that needs repairing. Make sure that the filler is slightly raised above the surface.
- If the hole you’re filling is deep, build up the filler in layers, waiting for each layer to dry before adding another.
- After one to two hours the filler will have dried hard and you can sand to a smooth finish.

Quick dry fille
Would have given 5 stars but the container was dented and the internal plastic film had come away from the filler. This made a mess upon opening, but the filler itself is really good stuff as I’ve used this one before. Definitely worth buying as dries really quickly

So I bought this item don’t get me wrong the stuff is good but it could do with a better spreader I’d recommend buying a bigger spreader with gloves but other than that it’s good stuff thanks
Best filler I've used
I’ve tried a fair amount of fillers (cheap and expensive) but this is by far the best. It’s quick to dry like most of the others but most importantly, it doesn’t drip at all and the texture is so much easier to work with.
It’s also considerably easier to sand than the others if you do go slightly over. Definitely worth a try.

Ordered this product after reading that the contents of the pot are sometimes all over the side of the container. This happened to mine. Contacted the seller straight away, they sent a new one out, it arrived the next day. I returned the faulty one. Very pleased with the after service and the product. Thank you 🙂
Already made
Very easy to use for novice diyer. However this product dries like plaster and is hard to sand. Not sure if that’s a down side as it filled a rather long hole but overall if I had to do it again I would use this product again x
It was very runny when I first opened the lid, but it thickened up and filled the hole well. The offending hole was about the size of a dinner plate and about an inch deep. I used the whole container full of filler and it took 2 days, as I had to wait for the first layer to dry. I cheated a little and used a hair dryer and then an electric heater to dry the filler more quickly, which caused cracks to appear, so I filled in the cracks and sanded it gently until it felt smoother. Luckily the walls are not smooth, as I live in a 300 year old cottage. It doesn’t look perfect, but it’s not that noticeable now it’s painted. I can live with it, until it’s decorated again. It dried solid and now feels harder than the rest of the wall. I would recommend, as it is easy to apply, dries quite quickly and dries solid enough to sand.

Bought four of these for 4.64 each with free P&P in August 2015 for my D.I.Y. painting job. Absolutely LOVE THIS STUFF!!! It’s so easy to work with even for a non-professionals (liked me XD).
It comes fully sealed, not just in a plastic bag that is zipped up by the manufacturer (and you have to open it up with scissors to get to the product), but also with (something that looks like) cello tape over the lid. So when it says Brand New – you know it truly is 🙂
It comes with a little plastic filling knife, which, hand on heart, is totally useless. I binned it and used putty knifes (bough separately) for the wall filling. There is also a protective (plastic) cover inside the tub (between the filling and the knife) that I bin once the tub is open, as otherwise it gets in the way. But its nice to have it included as you can see the tub is brand new and unused.
It says that it’s touch dry in 1-2 hours, but from experience I’d be more inclined to say 3-4 hours, especially when you’re doing your D.I.Y. in a semi-humid environment (such as a bathroom). However, once it’s dry, it really is dry and there is no immediate cracks appearing (from the drying process) which is very good.
Very importantly, it’s very easy to sand down, which was great (to ensure as professional finish as possible).
The tub is really easy to close off well (with audible clicks of the lid, which helps to ensure its content is secure). This is important for storage purposes.
Overall, I am VERY HAPPY TO RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT TO OTHERS and will be repurchasing for myself if needed again (as I have half a tub still left)!
