Top Quality at a good price.
I get this to add a 3rd monitor to my home office. Since purchasing one I have replaced all the cables in the house as this is far superior quality to the cables I have previously had.
Thank you
Good quality cable
Good quality cable. It’s strong and hasn’t bent out of position since using it. The connectors for well and seen to also be well made. Transfer between devices works easily using it.
Good quality and nice braiding
I only have equipment to test up to 1080p so I can’t vouch for the “8K” claims but I can say at the resolutions I tried it’s a perfectly functional cable in spite of the gimmicky gold plating.
The braiding loks pleasant and it’s a useful length rather than being a glorified patch cable.
Preicewise it’s not too bad, but as I often end up wishing for there’s no strain relief at the plugs.
It is hard to be impressed with a simple HDMI cable, but this braided HDMI cable did exactly that with its quality build and true-to-length of 3m. Recently I bought an 8K TV and this gave me the perfect opportunity to verify the cable’s full 8K@60Hz claim. The cable’s construction inspires confidence, whilst the braided design minimizes snags, and the included velcro strap aids in storage.
I tested this with my PS5 and an OLED LG TV and I was able to max out all the graphical settings. I was able to use:
3840×1260 resolution at both 60 and 120Hz refresh rates.
RBG and YUV222 colour formats.
VRR (Variable Refresh Rate) between 48 to 120Hz.
HDR
Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM)
and Deep Colour.
It also handled 8K content at 60Hz without a snag on my Samsung 8K set, now I wish I had a way to verify the cable’s 48Gbps speeds. But for now, from what I’ve tested, it seems to be legit.
Don’t be fooled by the top-brand cables that cost an arm and a leg. I’ve found that with most audio-visual cables and accessories, most companies tend to over-market features to get you to pay for a premium. Here, what you see is what you get. For the price of 22.99 for 9m to 9.99 for 3m among many other lengths, you cannot go wrong with this. One thing I wish this cable, had was HDMI certification. However, this annual fee costs the manufacturer between $10,000 to $15,000 only be incurred by the customer. So I understand why they did not take that route.
So if you’re in the market for a high-quality HDMI 2.1 cable which supports all the bells and whistles, this is a solid recommendation.
In summary:
High-quality braided construction
Accurate length (3m)
Velcro strap for convenient storage
Delivers on promised 4K@60Hz performance
Delivered on promised 8K@60Hz performance
Compatible with all other HDMI devices
Future-proofed for upcoming HDMI 2.1 devices
Highly recommended!
Good Quality and value.
The cable is well made and works perfectly for my use cases. Tested as a pc to monitor cable and for connection to TV at 4k (60 Hz). The cable specification claims a higher performance and it is good idea to have this to support future uses and ensure a long useful life. Good value highly recommended.
Decent long HDMI cable
I recently installed a new mount for my TV that allows me to pull it away from the wall and angle it to so I can see it from my work area which is off to the side. Unfortunately the existing HDMI cable was a bit too short and pulled really tight so I got this one at 3m long to replace it.
It’s perfect. The extra length means I can position the TV however I like without the cable pulling tight and potentially damaging the HDMI socket.
What I really like about this particular cable is that the body of the plug is quite compact which so I could thread it through the trunking in my wall with ease. Many cables have quite chunky plugs and ridiculously thick and long mouldings which make them a bit awkward to use in confined spaces, but thankfully this cable has no such issues. It’s brilliant.
15 for a 3m cable of this quality is a decent price.
A well made hdmi cable with decent advertised specs and a good length.
HDMI cable.
The cable comes packaged inside a low profile cardboard box and is secured with a velcro cable tidy.
The cable is made from average gauge flex and has a grey/silver braided finish. The terminals are gold plated, look to be of good quality and are housed inside robust, substantial terminal sheathes.
The length of this cable is three meters which offers plenty of scope for neat cable management in most normal use setups. The flex isn’t the most flexible that I’ve ever used and is a little bit stiff but can still be manipulated to fit and bend where you need it to. The terminals fit snugly into the sockets of my devices with minimal play although the sheer size of the terminal sheathes might get in the way if you have a tight setup with your hdmi port spacings. In my case (My lads PS5 + LG TV) I had no problems.
I’m not a nuclear physicist and don’t have a battery of testing equipment in my front room so I couldn’t comment on whether or not this cable performs to the advertised specs but I can say with confidence that it works absolutely fine with my lads PS5.
A well made hdmi cable with decent advertised specs and a good length.
Me likey.
