Cinema style quality
Easy to install and use. Fantastic sound quality, strong and sturdy. Looks great in front of tv, gives effect of being in a cinema. Item arrived very well packed, so excellent start, perfect size and more important top quality looks and feels great , for the price can’t fault it, 10 out of 10 from me very happy indeed and would purchase agai
Excelle
Brilliant kit that not only sounds great for the price, but is very easy to use and works flawlessly without lagging or disconnections. The subwoofer isn’t the biggest but produces great noticeable bass. Would recommend!
can't complai
For the price, this soundbar is at par with other more expensive ones.
Easy to install and you get to choose the orientation. Easy to change orientation too.
Arc connection to arc capable tv is straightforward, similar with the other connections.
The remote control is very user friendly, not complicated.
I like the fact that the display turns off after a while so you barely notice the soundbar being there.
It turns on automatically when I switch my tv on which is an added plus for me.
Construction is robust, not flimsy or cheap looking. Design is minimalist which is what I want. Simple but classy.
A five star for me.
Immersive Sound Bar for TV
This sound bar has taken my TV viewing experience to the next level. With its peak power of 100W and bass adjustable feature, it delivers rich and immersive sound that enhances every movie night or gaming session. The three EQ modes allow me to customize the audio to suit my preferences, whether I’m watching action-packed films or listening to music. Its HDMI ARC, optical, and auxiliary inputs provide versatile connectivity options, ensuring compatibility with a variety of devices. The sleek design and easy setup make it a stylish and functional addition to my entertainment setup. Overall, I’m extremely satisfied with this sound bar’s performance and highly recommend it to anyone looking to upgrade their home audio system.
works impressively good
My expectations have been exceeded by this soundbar. At a fair price, it offers a smart design and respectable sound quality. Its attractiveness is increased by the range of input choices and the remote control’s simplicity of usage.
This took very little time to set up and was really easy. The bluetooth capabilities impressed me by allowing me to reduce the amount of clutter caused by cables. This soundbar’s unique feature is its adaptable design, which allows it to be set up as two independent vertical speakers or as a horizontal bar. It’s simple to switch between different input sources with the remote control because of its intuitive design.
A Versatile Soundba
I like that this soundbar can be used as a long bar or split into two vertical side bars as very often the TV stands can’t take long soundbars so I have opted to use the soundbar in the split format and it performs well, it synced with TV very easily and the output is good, its a decent upgrade on TV speakers but it does lack a little in the deep bass range that large sub woofers would usually give, but given that it is compact and looks good next to the TV rather than overwhelming in size the speakers do a good job. It comes well packaged and has the usual remote control, and variety of connection options including optical, HDMI etc..
Connect the two bars together can be a little tricky but slow, steady and careful wins the race, splitting the two speakers does not affect the quality of sound and the remote allows you to customise the sound preferences to suit your need. It compares favourably with my old samsung soundbar, and if you are looking for something that will enhance the speech on the sound rather than the deep bass then I think this does the job.
I like that it is compact, neat and easy to setup, it looks good and can be controlled by the TV volume once setup, the sound is decent if not overly punchy in the bass department.
Easy to set up and impressive surround sound
I am impressed with this speaker. I must say it is easy to set up, I had it connected and ready to go in no time. What’s great is that it’s not just about the ease of use, but also the flexibility. I love how you can split it into two parts for that perfect sound balance and the twist-to-connect feature is just genius. And don’t even get me started on the surround sound – it’s mind-blowing. Priced at 139.99, it’s a steal considering the quality it delivers. Here’s hoping it holds up its quality in the long run. I recommend it.
Smart, versatile soundbar on a budget.
After years of relying on a 15-year-old two-speaker setup for my computer, I decided it was time for an upgrade and opted for a new soundbar.
Initially, I had concerns about compatibility with my new PC, but I was pleasantly surprised by the bluetooth capability which allowed me to minimise cable clutter!
The standout feature of this soundbar is its versatile design, which can be configured either as a horizontal bar or as two separate vertical speakers.
The remote control, is intuitive, making it easy to switch between various input sources. My only small gripe is there are no batteries supplied.
While the soundbar doesn’t offer customisable sound equalization, it compensates with three effective preset modes, Movie, Game, and Music; there are three bass levels too.
These features provide a satisfactory audio quality for a PC setup and I suspect that it will enhance the audio clarity for smaller TVs as well.
In conclusion, this soundbar has exceeded my expectations. It delivers a decent sound quality and a clever design at a reasonable price point. The variety of input options and the ease of use of the remote control add to its appeal. I’d recommend this as an affordable soundbar for your computer or TV; definitely worth considering.
wonderful soundba
Pros- I didn’t expect that sounds bar will be so good for the money, the sound system is clear, just little issue with set up but otherwise fine once you get going
Cons- None
Good high and low sound
This sound bar is quite surprising. It’s a relatively cheaply priced item yet delivers God sound quality both upper and.lower levels of the spectrum.
Initially I connected up to my alexa for playing music and thought the bass was insufficient, but believe this is more to do with Alexa.
I have now connected to my TV and there’s more bass than I need.
There is a bass control setting where you can have 3 different levels of bass.
There is a unique design of the speaker in that you can split it into two or have as many single long sound bar. It’s a simple twist and lock design to seperate the speaker. I have used this to mount each speaker either side of my TV for a more surround sound.
It’s was really simple to set up Nd enjoy using the device to add some serious sound capability to my originally very poor TV speakers.
Not too shabby!
Summary: All in all, an appropriately priced piece of kit, which was better than I feared but is by no means ‘high end’.
Details:
I’ll be honest, I was after a soundbar and, by chance, this came available on my Vine list so I thought I’d have a pop. I would not have purchased it without Vine as the price point suggested to me a low quality device and I’d rather buy fewer items that are higher quality than have lots of rubbish around!
So, I was pleased to find, on opening the box, a pair of reasonably small yet hefty in weight speakers and lots of accompanying peripherals – various leads, stands and (of course) remote. The weight of the speakers raised my hopes that these would be better than I expected.
I put them together as a single soundbar (though I will change this to having 2 separate vertical bars in the near future – once I have moved things around a bit. I found connecting them just a touch tricky – I didn’t want to force them for fear of causing damage but it did take a bit of oomph to do it.
I chose to connect to my tv via the included optical cable. It’s not the highest quality cable, nor is it overly long, but it’s fine.
TV on. TV sound off, soundbar sound set. Sound is… okay! Not great but perfectly good – and definitely a little better than my TV’s speakers. The customisability (is that a word?) of the sound is fairly limited (music, game, movie) and there are also 3 levels of bass. On the highest bass setting it is definitely more ‘bassy’ than my tv, but it’s not at all a boombox and fails to deliver the full movie soundscape. There is an input for an additional bass box, but, of course, that adds cost to a fairly budget device.
I also connect my phone to the soundbar, via bluetooth, so I can listen to podcasts with a better speaker without putting on my tv. It pairs easily and there were no issues. Plays well and the remote pauses and restarts whatever I’m listening to, which can be handy. In fact, I like the remote. Some have a ‘source’ button to be toggled but this has a separate button for each input (arc, usb, aux, BT, optical), which I prefer.
An interesting concept and decent for everyday use.
This soundbar has an interesting trick up its sleeve that Ive never come across before. You can either run it as a normal soundbar along the bottom of your tv OR you can unclick it in the middle and it becomes a stereo speaker system.
One thing that isnt made clear in any of the instructions is how these two different set ups may effect the sound and if it knows its split in two or not? Some testing would be required.
You are provided pretty much every cable required to get this thing to work with your setup which I was very pleasantly surprised at! Its not often youre also give the HDMI cables, optical cables and other bits and pieces! This is great!
The device also has all the inputs you’ll ever need on the back of it too. If you have multiple devices to hook up wouldn’t be a problem at all! (Arc and optical sound best!)
I tested it first as a full soundbar and its sounded ok. Perfect for someone who doesn’t need room shaking bass and eardrum bursting volume. This is to be used in my kitchen and so it fits its purpose well. I wouldn’t be as impressed if I was using this for my main living room tv system but Im pretty sure this isnt really designed for that.. especially at this price point.
I then split the speakers and straight away I felt music sounded better thanks to its stereo setup (not sure the speakers work in stereo or even know its been split, but just having two sound sources always sounds better to the ear) but for tv its lost a bit of of centralisation of sound. Not great for speech as this sound sound feel like its coming from the centre but now there isnt a centre.
I like how you do have the option of how you set this up though and if a soundbar isnt practical for your setup you can now slot these to either side (Even though I don’t believe sound science has been implemented depending on your chosen setup) For everyday TV watching it sounds decent and will likely be an improvement over your tvs built in speakers. It does have an output for a subwoofer so if you do want some deep rumbles youre going to have to invest in one of them as you wont get it out of this.
Overall its an interesting concept and provides some decent sound.

Average sounding but good build quality
First impressions were good when I opened the box. Very well packaged and comes with a plethora of cable accessories to cater for virtually all scenarios you might need.
I like the way that the speakers can be used as separate L + R, or combined together to make a traditional sound bar. The kit is supplied with interconnecting cables for both modes and it was well thought to include two lengths of cable to avoid unnecessary clutter if they are in soundbar mode.
The system was very easy to setup without me needing to refer to the manual. I used the speakers in Optical in mode and it worked straight away once I had selected this mode on my TV. The remote control is nice and simple and very easy to understand through a quick glance.
I tried various types of audio, from gaming, music and TV. I used the various EQ modes designed for each. Unfortunately I found the sound quality to be very mediocre and the bass really struggles at higher volumes. I did a direct comparison with the in-built speakers from the TV and then switching to the soundbar and surprisingly, the TV speakers sounded better. That said, most TV speakers are sub-par and it’s possible that my TV just happens to be one of the exceptions that already had decent sound quality.
If you have really poor (and I mean really poor) speakers in your TV, this sound bar will be an improvement. Don’t expect wonders though.
Nice upgrade to TV speakers
I was nicely surprised by the design and performance of the ULTIMEA sound bar, on unboxing you find a inner box containing the power supply, remote control, optical cable, HDMI cable, 3.5mm to 2 phono cable and long and short leads to connect the 2 halves of the sound bar together, wall brackets and screws and finally 2 base plates for using the sound bar upright, you do need to supply to AAA batteries for the remote as non are supplied.
On removing the 2 halves of the sound bar the first thing you notice is how heavy they are and once open they have a nice gloss black finish (finger print magnet) the sound bar can be used in 3 different ways either as a conventional one piece, the 2 halves lock together (difficult at first as you do need quite a bit of force to twist them together). As 2 free standing speakers either side of the TV (see photo) or wall mounted either side of the TV. I tried it as one piece and then either side of the screen and have to say I was pleasantly surprised.
Playing TV audio there was a good improvement in sound quality, it was clearer and had better bass it also goes extremely loud, I also tried the Bluetooth feature which connected to my phone straight away and was playing music within seconds and again the sound was pretty decent when you consider the cost of the unit, It has lots of bass if you are into bass and quite a high top end though lacking in midrange. Also it can get very harsh if you turn the volume to high though at those levels I would be concerned for my hearing.
So in conclusion the ULTIMEA 2.2 has a lot to offer for the money and gets a recommended from me.
Good value and versatile soundba
I received this product through the Amazon Vine programme and this review is based on my own opinions.
This is a very versatile soundbar as it support multiple connections and can be used as both a bar and separate stereo speakers.
You get a plethora of inputs HDMI, Optical, RCA and Bluetooth and all the cables are in the box. All you need to find is 2xAAA batteries for the remote.
The sound quality is pretty much what you’d expect for 70 so in that respect you get good value for money with the flexibility and add ons.
The only quirk I have found so far is that bluetooth only likes one device connected at a time so remember to disconnect if you use multiple devices,
There is the option to add a sub woofer if you find these bass light which for some applications they definitely are but I still give them 4 stars for value, flexibility and having most of what you need in the box.
For the money this is a great buy.
I got this for my partner who struggles with her hearing.
We generally have to the have the volume ramped up so load the TV Speakers are vibrating and the sound can be distorted.
The speakers come as two separate units. That can be used as stereo speakers that stand either side of the TV or they can be joined together to make a soundbar that sits in front of the TV. That’s the set up I have used.
The speakers lock together and are connected to each other via a supplied RCA cable.
You can connect the soundbar to the TV via HDMI ( ARC ) or Optical Cable both supplied. I used HDMI and connected to the ARC port on my partners Samsung TV.
It was recognised immediately without the need to go into TV settings and the TV remote controlled the volume.
The difference was awesome. The sound was much richer, fuller and with a lot more clarity and as such we no longer need to have the volume anywhere near as high.
The speaker comes with its own remote that has a bass button and some options for listening to Music, watching a Movie or playing Games.
There are also physical buttons on the side of the soundbar if required.
But in general we just use the TV remote to control the volume. When you switch the TV off the soundbar also goes into sleep mode and when you turn on the TV it activates.
It’s very discreet and sits in front of TV quite the thing. There is an LED display behind the grille that displays the function and volume level.
I have a Sonos Arc in my house c/w rear speakers and a sub and this soundbar is not in the same league not even close.
But that’s a very unfair comparison. My Sonos System cost 20 times as much.
This little speaker has transformed my partners viewing , not to mention the neighbours haha.
She is chuffed to bits with it, an excellent upgrade to your tinny flatscreen TV Speakers!
Good value mid-range performe
This is an attractively-priced mid-range soundbar with decent performance and a few nice features.
It can be split into two or combined as a single unit, and comes with an impressive range of connectivity options that should cover every AV requirement out there. Unboxing and set-up was simple, choose the orientation, select the appropriate connection, plug in and you’re sorted.
I’m currently using with a Panasonic TX-43MX650, quite underpowered in the on-board sound, and it fairly transforms the experience. Sound has reasonable depth and clarity, and the pre-set options (music, movie, game) do a decent job. The bass mode does create a noticeable deepening, but not on par with a system employing a separate subwoofer. Overall though the sound performance is good, easily above what I was expecting for this device and quite excellent for the price.
Appearance-wise, in both split and combined forms, it likely won’t win any awards. It’s a chunky looking thing and definitely doesn’t blend into a minimal AV set-up. It’s very much ‘there’. That said, despite its heft, it does have a nicely simple style and no unnecessary cosmetic elements.
I’d say this was a really good choice for anyone looking to boost their TV audio without breaking the bank.
The surprise was that I was expecting to receive a soundbar and 2 speakers for L and R, however it is a modular soundbar, which is basically consisting of 2 pieces the left and right speakers clicked together.
The sound quality is on par with the Poseidon series without the bass, the frequency response I’d say by tests hits min 50khz and max around 120khz if properly set up. The sound is good, just lacks that umph that a separate subwoofer can give.
Packaging is very small as it comes with the 2 speakers side by side, so at least they managed to save some packaging cost good on them.
Setup is as simple as getting it out of the nicely made and designed box (it has a cat!) and either clicking the 2 sides together and placing it in the middle of the tv or having it separately (my option) on either side of the tv, which gives way better channel separation.
We all know soundbars are kind of on the bad side most of the time but this is actually better than the TV, I know now too tought to beat a tv speaker, but hear me out it is better not by miles but it makes a lot of difference, if I were to choose i’d rather spend the extra cash and get their poseidon series as it has a dedicated sub and gives that umph that this one is missing.
The finish on the device is glossy, so expect a lot of dust to gather, as well as being a total fingerprint magnet, I just unpacked and put it in place and i had to clean it already as it was a bit dusty and full of fingerprints.
