Worthy of its price tag and Wella name
Wella is well known to everyone and it seems to me that they haven’t stopped trying to make products that are worthy of their good name.
Although it is a mass product that you can find pretty much everywhere, this mask is a very good product and worth its money which I find a little expensive for my wallet.
If your hair is thin you should not add too much because it will be very heavy for your hair, on the contrary, if you have lots and thick hair, this will work like magic.
I took it mostly for my son who has long thick curly hair in order to fight back a little the frizz and I am very happy to confirm it works nicely.
Has a very pleasant scent like salon products and is very easy to use.
If my teen son was able to use it well, I’m sure everyone can do as well.
Easy to use, really works
I’ve been using this Wella hair repair twice a week for just over a week (3 times so far), but the difference seemed to begin after 1 use. I have thinning, dry hair due to being in that time of life, and I’d almost resigned myself that there was very little that could help. However this product is amazing, my hair feels softer, thicker and seems easier to style than it was previously, the only change I’ve made is to use this hair mask.

It really works
This hair mask is brilliant. My fine hair can get quite frizzy, and this product has made my hair much smoother, softer and easier to brush. It’s easy to use, just needing to leave it on for 5 mins in the shower. Overall a great product.
Makes my hair feel so sof
I have very long hair and I’m always trying out new products to keep it healthy. I’ve been using this once a week in the shower, applying it liberally to my ends and then clipping it up while I finish my shower routine then washing it out.
It feels great to apply as it spreads far and it feels soft to apply. Afterwards my hair is much soft and healthier looking. Definitely worth it!
Love this mask
I love this mask, made my hair feel soft and my curls bouncy, it smells great and for my hair, I just need a bit more just to feel that it really moisturises my hair.
Good quality mask ans good ingredients too.
Wella Professionals Ultimate Repair Hair Mask
This product was sent to me to review, as part of Amazon Vine. Below is my own real-world experience of using it.
As someone who has very long, thick and wavy hair, I can never have too much conditioner, but it has been a challenge finding one that can truly tame my frizz, so I was interested to see how the Wella might fare.
I found it easy to apply – it has a nice viscosity that is not too runny, making it simpler to apply to the hair without dropping it all in the shower. I decided to apply it to my mid-lengths and ends, whilst using a wide-toothed shower comb to evenly distribute it. There was a fairly sweet scent, though I wouldn’t say that it was strong (and, I couldn’t really smell it in my hair, once it had dried). After waiting a few minutes, I rinsed it out with no issues.
As I would usually, I allowed my hair to air dry. The result was soft, shiny hair that definitely felt more hydrated – especially in the ends. My hair was not completely frizz-free, but, there was a noticeable reduction.
In summary, a mask that makes a nice occasional treat for the hair. Recommended.
Impressive quality, slight weight dow
I’m loving this Repair Mask from Wella; the quality truly shines through and it didn’t disappoint. I can’t remember the last time my hair felt this soft, and my curls were beautifully detangled and bouncier. However, it did weigh my hair down a bit. I suspect the loss of volume may have been due to using too much product since it was my first time. My hair is thin, so I’ll use less next time. Nonetheless, I can’t fault the quality, but for those with thinner hair, I’d recommend being sparing with the quantity.
Leaves my hair lovely and sof
I used to have very silky and smooth hair, if anything it was a little flat.
For the past year I had been getting my dark brown hair bleached blonde, now I am back to brunette but my hair is very damaged. The ends are frizzy and dry and far from forgiving me for the year of neglect.
I have used this mask a few times now, I use my shampoo and then gently rub this into the ends and then comb through, I leave it on for about 10 minutes and rinse out.
The immediate results are that my hair feels significantly softer and less straw like. My hair does return to this state in the couple of days between washed but I feel continued use of this product could give me long term benefits.
The scent is lovely and muted floral.
Good everyday conditioner, dressed up and priced up
This is one of those hair mask creams that feels like a regular conditioner rebranded and put into a tub to make it more premium and advanced than it really is. The bright white colour looks like dozens of conditioners, and the very mild scent would certainly make you think it’s a normal, everyday conditioner.
I’m perfectly happy with the results, as far as conditioning goes. It’s a very thick cream, which makes it easy to control but a little difficult to tease through a large amount of hair, and I was finding I wanted to use quite a lot of it to get good coverage, with each wash using several quid’s worth of product. But despite being thick and feeling quite heavy whilst on the scalp, once washed out it leaves my hair feeling a little bouncier than I expected, with a look that’s nicely natural and not too wet-look-flat-and-sleek, which is a look that really doesn’t suit me.
But ultimately I feel like I get very similar results from some other conditioners that I buy, many of which are less than half the price by volume than this product, some of them especially so. In the ‘before and after’ product photo on this product, the ‘before’ photo shows hair that has been shampooed but not conditioned- which to me feels like a bit of a confession than this is really just a conditioner in a small expensive tub.
With a tub that’s almost small enough to be airline-friendly, the current price tag of over twenty-four quid is absolutely not justified for this little pot of conditioner, sorry, mask. But because my hair feels reasonably nice from it, I’m giving it four stars despite the price tag.
Great results, but not cost-effective if your hair is very dry and damaged like mine
I am a big fan of Wella and found this masque to be really effective. It moisturised and detangled my hair very well, leaving my curls soft and shiny. However, I had to use a large amount of the product on the lengths of my hair, which is the only downside since the tub isn’t very big. While I appreciate the premium quality, my dry and damaged medium length hair requires a lot of product, so the tub will be empty after just three uses. This makes it less cost-effective for me.
Quick and effective
A thick cream that’s easy to apply to damp hair. To save on product I used just a small amount and combed it through my hair. Left for just 5 minutes (states 5- 10), then rinsed and dried it was easy to tell my hair felt so much smoother than with just a regular conditioner.
No claggy or heavy feeling left on the hair like some intensive treatments I’ve used in the past.
Smell is pretty nondescript, a generic conditioner smell and thankfully not overpowering.
Given the impressive results with just a small amount of product it’s actually fairly good value.
Good for damaged hair, but can make top part of hair greasy
This hair mask works for damaged hair. My hair is dry and have damaged ends from highlights (bleach) and I saw results from first use. My hair feels softer and more hydrated with healthier ends. The scent is pleasant but not overpowering, it is overall mild and not overly perfume-like. The only negative is that it is a “heavy” mask and left the top half of my hair feeling a bit greasy and dull. I’d recommend only using mid length to ends.

This product is really good. My hair isnt that difficult but it feels dry and frizzy when weather isnt on my side. And during pregnancy, it has become even more weird. Im not sure if its because of hormones but my hair seem to have developed a mind of their own. I use this twice a week and it works amazingly well. My hair feels soft and tamed without losing volume. Im quite happy with the purchase. Price is reasonable and a small amount goes a long way.
I think the price is on the higher side though. It works but I think if trying to save money, there are cheaper alternatives.
Hydrates and Strengthens
Wella Professionals Ultimate Repair Hair Mask 150ml comes in the branded box with a tamperproof sticker seal.
The conditioning mask is in a jar with screw top lid and contains a creamy textured repair hair mask.
Apply to clean shampooed hair while wet and leave for 3 minutes.
This conditioner spreads evenly and efficiently through your hair strands while using the wide tooth comb method. i could feel a difference in the softness protection of the hair even before I rinsed it off. My hair was sleek but did have a weighty feel before rinsing.
The mask rinsed very well and easily leaving no residue behind or stickiness either.
I naturally dried my hair so heat didn’t aggravate the results when reviewing the product.
Once the hair had dried, the first thing I noticed was the lack of sticking out strands and frizz and my hair appeared a whole lot calmer. I also noticed the softness especially at the end section which are very dry and snap easily.
At no point did my hair, which is already prone to frizz, puff up or appear too fluffy style appearance.
Very pleased with this conditioner as it hydrated my hair thoroughly without leaving me with greasy root sections.
Superb quality with noticeable results from first applicatio
This is a thick consistency mask but very smooth to the touch and with a subtle smell. It arrived perfectly sealed and looked great from the start. It was very easy to detangle my hair after I applied the mask for 20 minutes and left them amazingly soft and shiny. Totally recommended and would repurchase.
Leaves my hair feeling hydrated
This hair mask comes within 150ml pot and smells really nice and floral.
I have long frizzy prone hair which often becomes dry due to the amount of heat I use on it.
This hair mask is very simple and straight forward to use, instead of using conditioner on your hair apply this mask and wait 5-10 minutes before washing out.
This mask leaves my hair feeling really soft, smooth and hydrated. The mask washes out really easily and doesn’t remain in my hair making it feel greasy.
I normally do a hair mask once a week so this tub with last me months, I would happily repurchase again.
