Westland Cacti Potting Mix 4L
Westland Cacti Potting Mix 4L

What makes me unique?
- Cacti love being in a mix that lets water run past their roots instead of sitting in a waterlogged pot! This dry, free-draining peat free mix prevents overwatering and deters flies for healthier, happier plants!
- Added zinc complex promotes more root growth into your new potting mix, faster re-potting establishment and also boosts plant resilience.
- Enriched with sand, creating a high free draining, gritty mix for dry, healthy roots.
How does Seramis work?
Our unique Seramis granules absorb water and nutrients. They then release the water and nutrients when the plan needs it, keeping cacti hydrated and nourished.
Potting & Re-potting
- Seedlings – Fill the pot or seed tray with potting mix and level off. Put seedlings into holes. Gently firm the potting mix, add a little more if necessary and water in.
- Cuttings – Rooted cuttings should be potted on into individual pots or containers, taking care with fragile roots. For larger cuttings half fill a pot, place the plant in position and fill around the roots with potting mix. Gently firm mix and water well.
- Re-potting – Water the plant and allow to drain before removing carefully from the pot using folded paper to protect your hands against spikes.
- Put a layer of potting mix in the new pot and sit the plant on it. Fill the rest of the pot with potting mix, firming lightly around the root ball. Don’t water for a few days to prevent rotting of damaged roots.

- Use in a well ventilated place and avoid breathing in dust.

Good compost for succulents.
I have used this compost for my succulents for a few years now. It’s good value for price delivered to my door. However I always add some additional course grit to the mix to aid drainage.
Fabulous
I have quite a few succulents and cactus that need re potting anyway but I recently brought a lonely succulent that was struggling and needed urgent care. Immediately on opening the bag you can tell the quality difference between what the plant came with vs this product.
Nice smell and easy to open and use looks healthy and I have high hopes it will help my succulent recover.
Cactus soil
Found this to be an excellent product bought to make a terrarium cactus garden. When I planted them I thought they looked a sorry state however 2 weeks in and the plants are thriving and looking great! Def recommend
Seems really solid so far for repotting Cacti seedlings!
As the title states, I’ve bought this to re-pot one little Cacti seedling that managed to sprout. It seems to be doing great a week later. I have just sown a bunch more Cacti seeds, so I’m hoping those germinate in the next 2 months~ so I can get them repotting using this mix 🙂
Bag arrived in perfect condition, so no complaints at all
I found this to be great value for money, I had to divide my snake plant which is growing well but was very root bound and getting dehydrated. Repotted a week ago, no bugs, has a mixture of various things, retains water well, was really easy to repot, came in good condition. Initially a bit dry and on the pack it says not to water immediately after repotting but I would say do water it enough to settle the soil. Size was enough for one small plastic brown pot and one medium planter both with drainage holes in the bottom. Plants are doing great!
Used for repotting 3 cacti.
Soil texture was fine. Be aware though. Upon open the bag such a pungent rotten egg stent h came from it.: husband thought compared it to a stink bomb!
Luckily smell soon dissipated after watering
