Went down really well. The range of strings is great. Really good responsiveness and also the ability to change to make unresponsive too.

The yo-yo comes with helpful setup instructions and the yo-yo itself is very vibrant and attractive. Honestly I would say it’s worth the price and makes for a great gift both for beginners and experienced users. High-end yo-yo, in other words.
This is not my first YOSTAR Yoyo, I have an unresponsive one too, but this set has bearings for both responsive and unresponsive setup, and I really appreciate that. The yoyo itself looks gorgeous with the crystal-clear body with a nice colour gradient from ocean-green to violet. The package also includes the second set of axle/bearing with the necessary hex key and 12 strings in lovely, bright colours, also a short but informative guide booklet. All these are stored in a good quality hard case. For 15, this is great value for money. I am pretty late to this party, just trying to improve my fine motor skills around 50, but I can see that this can be such an excellent gift for youngsters who want to get up from the desk and learn some cool tricks.
Got this for a 8 year old kid. It comes with a case and it was easy to fix it up following the instructions. We are not really good in finding tricks using the yo yo. But my kid is trying different tricks with it and she likes the colour changing stuff on it.
Right after setting the yo-yo up and showing my kid how to use it with a few tricks from my younger years, that was it… they were gone! I didn’t even get enough time to have a few proper goes! My eldest has even picked up on a few tricks she’s demonstrated to me. Recovering from walking the dog we’re still to master as these are somewhat slippy on the axle to what I’m used to… like really advanced compared to what I grew up with!
With the weightiness of it and the type of axle, which is interchangeable, I’d say these are quite advanced compared to what I grew up with and loved. They take some getting used to but perform so much better!
Comes in a nice carry case with a choice of axle type and several spare coloured replacement strings.

The quality of the material yoyo is just great! The colour and smoothness is brilliant. Comes with different colours of strings and the rope quality is good as well. Instructions are hard to follow as we are the first time user. I am sure we will get better at this.
I recently purchased the Crystal Yoyo for Kids as a gift, and it turned out to be a delightful choice. The yo-yo’s vibrant Sky Blue colour immediately caught their eyes, five yoyo strings, a bag, and a bearing remover, which is a thoughtful addition and adds value to the purchase. The crystal Yoyo is a fantastic gift option. Extras make it an excellent choice for beginners.
Absolutely delighted this is a good quality yoyo for my son he is just trying out yoyos and is trying to practice new skills this one is his first yoyo he is developing his capabilities and experimenting new skills and techniques.
Yoyo is easy enough to learn and can to the things like the sleeper trick , walk the dog , breakaway and many more ideal for someone keen to learn and practice on this .
The blue colour is really nice
The only slight criticism I have is with the order of the instructions – you should do step 4 first. (Otherwise the instructions are well written and clear. There’s a good yoyo set-up video. on the yo yo tricks website)
I alway select things I buy based on the ‘one star’ reviews – at the time of purchase, this had, by far, the least number – seemingly for good reason. (Even the two star reviewers seemed to like the product)
The product seems to be well made, and is value for money, especially with the extra strings and bearing to turn it into an unresponsive yoyo
Great beginner yoyo
Thought I would purchase this yoyo to use as a beater and at worst would have a spare bearing and puller if it wasn’t much good. Comes set responsive out of the box as described but swap it to unresponsive using the enclosed extra bearing and axle and you get a nice balanced throw that is just good fun ! Certainly able to mix it up with more expensive throws out there and certainly worth a punt if you are intrigued about the hobby without splashing out too much cash.
