I keep one of these handy when I volunteer at the local Repair Caf. I never know what’s coming in to be fixed so this is perfect for powering all sorts of equipment.
The output isn’t very well regulated; voltages read high until a load is connected but this is fine and normal for a cheap power supply. I still recommend this gadget.
Super useful for lost chargers that aren't USB A or C
Using this for grooming gadgets and dog collars and all sorts of elecrtonic gear that isn’t USB A or C and where I can’t find the original chargers. Particularly useful for travel as need to carry these things with and this also has a micro USB and this is so unusual these days, very handy to have included.
Frankly a godsend.
The one annoyance is this gives you the option to change the voltage and most of my stuff that I need this for doesn’t specify maximum voltage on it. Wish all chargers and appliances marked this somewhere but certainly not the fault of this product.

I’ve used this power adapter on quite a few things now And it seems to work great it is very versatile and I can see it lasting some years yet. Overall I can recommend this if you were after something like it.

I’m always losing my little power leads for certain electronic devices so I ordered this multi voltage universal power adaptor
It comes well packaged and comes with the power adapter plug, various different ends for different kinds of leads, and also come with the little key so you can turn the dial to change the voltage.
All you need to do is attach whichever power lead attachment you want onto the plug lead and away you go.
I personally use this for a toothbrush charger and it worked absolutely perfectly.

I then tried it on my portable 12 volt record player and this worked absolutely perfectly as well.
If you’re looking for a solution for a lost lead from three volts up to 12 volts then this could be for you, I highly recommend it.
This is what I need!
This is exactly what I need in an electrical appliance… versatility! I absolutely love that it comes with all the different tips, as I can never remember what type of tip or adaptor each device has, there is not enough room in my brain for all the variables. The fact that this one is multi voltage, as well as being able to accommodate multiple tips, means there is an above average likelihood of compatibility. It’s perfect to keep as a spare, or to replace an adaptor that’s conked out. Build quality appears to be decent and the price is good!
Does exactly what I needed
I got this to use with a Echo Dot 3rd gen and it works perfectly.
After the original plug went missing I have been looking at replacements and had considered using one of the USB to barrel jack cables. Unfortunately these don’t have great reviews as they can’t draw enough power. Although there are certified adaptor plugs available they are double the price where as this was priced at 8.97 which I thought was worth a punt. Had it not have worked the adaptor is versitile enough that I could have used it elsewhere.
As it turns out all I had to do was set it to the full 12v and match the correct tip size and everything worked first time. My echo dot is now up and running again with no issues. Exactly what I needed.

I ordered this to power a second-hand cross trainer machine (6V). There’s a little key included to move the dial between the various voltages. The dial is rather stiff, but that’s a good thing as it reduces the potential of changing settings by accident and damaging equipment. The interchangeable ends are welcome, particularly the one with screw terminals, as that could be used on electronics projects.
I measured the voltages of the various settings with my multimeter, and there is some slight over-voltage.
Nice all in one solution to power adaptors
Got this unit to cover a lot of uses as with its adaptors it can be used for a variety of appliances and applications.
It is well made from strong tough plastic, the adaptors fit tightly into the reciever from the lead and mains plug and the wide variety of adaptors covers most things that could be used for.
This is well designed and I do think this will be safe to use so I would recommend this to replace a large scope of plugs and adaptors you may have.
Useful gadge
I own several of these devices from different manufacturers now; they are incredibly useful for saving you money on batteries (to say nothing of the time spent swapping them over each day), eg especially around Christmas time when you may have multiple battery operated lights on the go; replace those with one of these and life gets a lot simpler.
As well as coming with 7 assorted industry standard terminator heads (including one micro USB but, sadly, no USBC, for which one star off) it also has one with screw down terminals correctly marked as positive/negative, meaning that you can easily wire in whatever you want; I’ve got one of these set up with crocodile clips at the end so that I can quickly power up and test a range of electrical gizmos. You’ll have to buy the crocodile clips yourself, though!
This unit offers you a choice of 3, 4.5, 5, 6, 7.5, 9 & 12V outputs; I’ve tested them all with my multimeter and they all deliver within the acceptable range, all slightly over (eg 5V comes out at 5.3V, which is fine).
All in all, for an undiscounted 9.97, not bad at all.
