I’m a little iffy with attaching things to my monitor as I didn’t want to scratch or damage it. The sound quality is very good considering the size and the cable length is enough to reach a pc no problem. Plug and play, works straight out of the box. Couldn’t figure out how to attach it without risking my monitor, so have left it on my desk underneath instead.
Very good considering how small it is. Price is about right for the quality.

This is a decent speaker that has definitely added some oomph to my PC and laptop.
So easy to sue, just connect via Bluetooth or even connect via the supplied USB cable. Bluetooth connection is standard and we have had no issues with dropouts etc.
The sound is good and goes quite loud, it does though lack a deep bass but I wasn’t expecting this, it’s certainly not a tinny sound, just be aware though that if looking for something with a deep bassy punch you may need to look elsewhere.
As you probably know you can clip this to the top or bottom of a monitor, I have tried it on my laptop screen and whilst it worked well I preferred the aesthetics of just having it on the desk at the side of me.
Definitely a decent speak that will be a good addition to any PC, laptop or tablet etc

I like this soundbar; it’s ideal for my choices of music, although I might have liked a little more bass. Outside of music, I can use it for calls with a team at my computer or for listening to podcasts when the speech is clear and easy to follow. I’ve seen similar products at a much higher price but this is ideal for me when at my desk

I’ve gone through a lot of smaller speakers for my computer but they always seem to have some issue with them but I think I’ve finally settled on one with this.

I’ve had no issue with it at all, it’s plug and play and all you need to do is plug it in and it should automatically select the right device. Unfortunately, the base of my monitor is too wide for it to clip on to (the clip does have quite a bit of range to it, it’s entirely my display) but it clipped onto the side no problem.

The sound quality is very good in my opinion and it has quite a bit of volume. I’ve not had any popping or crackling so I’m very happy with it. With that said, I do generally wear headphones so this is more of a tool for when I don’t but I’ve found it good enough that I spend a lot more time with the speaker.

I used it on Windows 10 however I have just done the update to Windows 11 and it works on both, as you’d expect.

I think aesthetically it’s also very smart. There’s no RGB lighting but I personally prefer that.

The one thing I wasn’t too fond of is the clip is quite powerful, of course it needs to be but it adds quite a bit of pressure to the rim where you clip it.

    Pro’s

    – Easy to clip on

    – Versatile with both a USB A and USB C adapter.

    – Decent sound quality

    – Above average volume levels, quite loud for its size.

    – Smart looking.

    – Very easy to set up. Works out the box.

    – Easy to access function buttons

    Cons

    – The clip has a lot of pressure, especially the wider it goes.

    – Limited function buttons

For 18.99 I’m very happy with it, I think it’s a reasonable price and there aren’t many downsides to it. I can easily recommend this one.

This sound bar is okay. In many instances, I imagine it would be better than built-in laptop or monitor speakers, but it does fall a little short in the economy sound scene. Not to say that the soundbar is bad, but the sound is not exactly going to blow you away. However, it does make a good option for a speaker that you can carry around in your laptop bag. I kind of base my review rating on that use case scenario, which in that sense, makes it a really good sound bar option.

Surprisingly good for a small unit. Good bass, which I like. Plugged it in and went straight to YouTube to listen to a familiar song as a test. It was good!

I love that it’s simple USB connected. After plugging in I went to my settings and the computer had already detected it and defaulted to it. So easy!

Obviously it’s not going to sound like big booming speakers but for a computer soundbar, it’s excellent.

This ADELGO USB speaker is a neat concept. It has a clasp at the back that allows it to be clipped onto the bottom (or top I’d imagine) of your monitor. The clasp opens in a V-shape but is rubberised so it should grip on fine to thinner monitors. The speaker can be inverted where the clasp works as a stand – it’s this orientation I used mainly for testing.

It’s purely a USB speaker i.e. audio data AND power – there’s no 3.5 jack etc. Plugging this into a Windows PC will give you an additional sound output device.

Audio quality is bright and clear and can go very loud, surprisingly. Unsurprisingly – there isn’t much bass. When listening to music drums have a satisfying thump but there’s not much overall bass presence.

Personally – if you have room for standard speakers I think there are better options available for the current asking price (16.99). If space is at a premium or you’re just listening to YouTube content etc. then this is pretty worthwhile.

To say I’m amazed at the quality of this speaker would be an understatement. Whilst it may be diminutive in size, it packs a powerful punch, producing clear sound with excellent depth and frequency range. Even at high volume (this is very loud) sound is clear and undistorted.

I tested this with my PC, and the sound was exceptionally good, and better than the current Bluetooth one (which is considerably larger) I’m using. It’s plug and play, so simply plug into a USB port (standard A or C using the adapter), and can be used with a phone or tablet equally.

The speaker feels quite substantial, weighty, and very well-made. There are volume up and down buttons on top, as well as a mute button. The speaker has a (soft-grip) clip for attaching to a laptop, or underneath a monitor. However, the jaw doesn’t open widely enough to clip under my Acer monitors, but that isn’t an issue.

Overall, this sucker punches well above its weight. Full, deep and rich sound, with bass belying its size, and equally full, clear high frequency notes as well. I really can’t recommend this highly enough, and at this price it’s a steal.

his little speaker is surprising good for what it is connected via USB, and clips to the top of the monitor, it can also stand on its own, the sound is better than my laptop speakers but not as good as my stereo speakers, but it is perfectly good enough to listen to music or watching film with no problems, overall for the price, it is exactly what I expected, I would recommend.

This is a budget price speaker. And so unfortunately, the sound quality matches it. It’s quite dreadful for music. But if only needing it for communications, podcasts, etc then the sound is very serviceable.

The form factor is the main feature as it has a strong clip-on design for the thickest of monitors (well ok, not CRTs).

The volume buttons are at the top which means they are invisible. But as there are only three buttons and the buttons are physically raised, it’s not too hard to memorise which is volume up and down by feel. Still, it is awkward.

No 5W speaker is going to sound great. The point is low power consumption and convenient placement without taking up desk space. I review this with such merits.

4.0 out of 5 stars Nice form factor but dreadful sound quality for music and awkward controls

The issue I have with built-in speakers on monitors is I find they lack volume and bass. The speakers are usually rear-projected and have a rather tinny sound to them. This small USB speaker solves that by providing a forward-projected sound output with a good level of sound equalisation. Power is provided by the USB socket so there is no additional power requirements to worry about and there is no noticeable delay between the sound and the visuals on the screen.

At first I thought the speaker was not functional, or maybe wasn’t compatible with the Mac, but it turns out the USB-C adapter didn’t work. Trying a different USB-A to USB-C adapter sorted this so I was able to get it working. A good product for the price even if I needed to source a different adapter.

Overall, I’m pleased with these speakers. The sound quality is good, and they can go very loud.

I have a couple of gripes, though; they are designed to be mounted upside down, clipped to the bottom of a monitor. But if you want to mount them so the control buttons are on top, the stereo effect is reversed and there’s no way to swap the channels over. I’ve been through all the Windows 11 sound settings and there isn’t this facility built into the driver. The speakers are close together, so the stereo effect isn’t that pronounced, but once you know it’s wrong, it’s hard to ignore.

The other issue is that the spring-loaded gripper doesn’t open very wide. This means that it won’t attach securely, or at all, to thick monitors.

There’s no need to use the control buttons on the speakers, pressing them only replicates what happens when you click on the Windows volume control. I like this as it keeps things simple; too many independent volume controls make troubleshooting very difficult.
