Este cable ha permitido conectar a unos equipos un poco desfasados pero que siguen siendo de uso propio, por lo que ha sido fcil conectarlo con otros dispositivos por.la entrada VGA, excelente inversi

    great for retro gaming
i bought this as i got an old desktop pc with a VGA only connection – I have no VGA monitors. This worked well and had a great picture i imagine it can be used either way with either a monitor needing a VGA port or a desktop needing a VGA port – Does exactly what its designed to do and had no issues with it so overall great value for money.

    Perfecto y Funcional

    Clear picture, works great.
A friend knocked his monitor off his desk, rendering the picture all out of sync. I suggested it might just be the HDMI connector and I purchased this HDMI to VGA adapter hoping the theory was correct.

Initially it didn’t work, so I took a closer look at the settings and found it defaulted to 59hz refresh rate, swapped it to 60hz and the picture came up right away. Actually better than before, the colors were crisper. $300 monitor saved with a $10-15 cable.

Would, and probably will buy again for clumsy friends and acquaintances.

Works as Intended... Mostly (MiSTer FPGA direct has some issues)
I wanted to use this to plug my MiSTer FPGA into a 4:3 monitor in an arcade cabinet that I have. I’m using the Direct Video option on the MiSTer, which has a great looking signal, the caveat is that for some reason it seems to be offset quite significantly to the right. This isn’t a problem with the cable, I tried other options and had the same result, it’s an issue with the way the MiSTer’s signal is output and interpreted by the display.
The cable works great, trying with other sources worked perfectly fine.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersA decent hdmi to vga cable
I needed a cable to plug in my 24″ monitor, but i only have vga slot available since my hdmi is occupied by my console. i decided to purchase Amazon basic hdmi to vga cable to plug in my graphics card to my monitor. The cable works and runs perfectly fine at 1920x1080p 60hz.

Now here me out and this is important for some users out there: Most of the time the cable works for many people like plug and play, but some users plug it in but it doesn’t show anything on screen. this is due to your gpu software remembers only one source at a time that switching to a different source to hdmi plug to vga will confuse the software (mines was plug in by dvi to vga before). in order to get yours working, try these steps before returning the cable:

This step works either windows 10/11 and mac
1: keep using your old cable before using your new hdmi to vga cable
    2. disconnect your internet.
    3. uninstalled your entire graphics drivers which is either nvidia geforce drivers or amd drivers until you only have windows basic display drivers running on your gpu (this step may require few restarts)
    4. once its only on basic display drivers by microsoft, turn off the computer, and plug in your new hdmi to vga cable and turn it on your pc, if it shows display then continue on but if it doesn’t, well it may be defective or will not work on your gpu.
    5. after loading on to windows, reconnect to the internet and reinstall your drivers either from nvidia or amd website to download their software drivers depending on what graphics card you have and after reinstalling it, it should be on full 1080p hd and your done!
