The tower form factor is great, I am able to tidily plug in everything in the corner of my room with no fuss. The long cable is great and the arrangement of the sockets is good.
After three months of use, the transformer in the USB charging circuit began to whine and after a few more days, the USB sockets stopped working. Not a major issue because I am just using normal USB chargers plugged in to the sockets instead.
Works well and small footprint so great for smaller rooms or those with limited space.
On/Off switch is quite bright though, so you may want to position it at the back if used in a dark room.
We are all moving to a more integrated and smart home. But many of the devices need a power supply and, short of pulling every room apart to install 50 extra double sockets per room, this has been a life saver.
12 extra power sockets give me more than enough choice to operate my Alexa Show, my mesh WiFi extender, my smart meter display device and give me space to plug in my tablet, charge my mobile, put a zigbee gateway in and still leave me space for other ad hoc devices as needed. Each set of three plugs has its own on/off switch and there is even space for usb devices to plug straight in, no plug needed.
Do take care that you do not overload the power circuit in the room you are using this.
I expected worse quality for the price of this. The seller listing does not do this justice, and the lower starred reviews are misleading. Very good device, long cable and includes USB charging ports. Very happy with this and it hides away nicely as despite having 12 plug sockets, it has a small footprint.
