The Arama USB Headset with Microphone offers a functional audio solution for various settings, but it comes with its own set of pros and cons. On the positive side, the noise-canceling feature proves effective in minimizing background distractions during business calls or virtual meetings. The inline control adds convenience, allowing users to manage volume and mute functions effortlessly.

However, the build quality might leave some users wanting more. While the headset is functional, it feels somewhat lightweight, and the durability may be a concern over prolonged use. The comfort level is satisfactory, but users with larger heads may find the fit slightly snug.

In terms of value for money, the Arama USB Headset falls within an affordable range, making it an attractive option for those seeking a budget-friendly audio solution for work or office use. The compatibility with various softphone applications like Skype and Zoom enhances its overall utility.

In conclusion, the Arama USB Headset with Microphone offers reliable audio performance for business calls and virtual meetings. While the build quality may not be premium, its functionality and budget-friendly pricing make it a practical choice for those prioritizing affordability and functionality in their audio accessories.

The video shows you what you get in the box.

    In a nutshell:

    Things I liked:

+ Plug and play – Windows detected both earpiece and microphone fine and the in-line controls simply accessed Windows’ own mute and volume controls, which is exactly how I want it.

    Things I didn’t like:

    – Doesn’t feel like the most premium headset in the world.

    Do I recommend it?

Yes. It’s a lightweight, comfortable headset for working and telecoms. It’s not really for listening to music – the speaker appears to be optimised for voice. It just feels a bit flimsy for the price of about 30, but if you can get it on an offer, go for it.

These replace a headset that covers both ears. I need to be able to hear what is happening around me as well as communicate with other people via my headset. The quality of the sound coming in isn’t bad at all, and I am told by other people that they can hear me perfectly. This headset is good value and highly recommended.

My intial thoughts on this headset have changed as I used it – initially I thought this seemed like quite a light and (dare I say it out loud) cheap feeling headset. I thought this would be a negative for it given that the price point puts it with some more substantial headsets I use. So to me it didn’t feel that good quality.

However the more I wore it the more I realised, this is a very comfortable headset. I could wear it for an extended length of time and it didn’t start to feel heavy or uncomfortable. As it is a single ear piece it also didn’t weigh heavily across the top of my head wither – so top marks for comfort and lightness.

The sound quality is fine – maybe a little tinny at times but this is a headset for communication and the sound has always been very clear and crisp.

The one drawback I have had with it is that the microphone boom seems to be in an unusual position – for me it is quite close to my face and it’s not possible to move it away and adjust it in that manner. This isn’t a major issue and it hasn’t caused any issues with callers hearing me on the other end of the phone.

The controls fall easily to hand and means that you can instantly mute a conversation should there be a requirement to do so – much handier than trying to find the mute button on your laptop with the mouse! Volume controls are easy to reach to which gives you more control in calls.

My early misgivings were certainly not borne out and this is a very comfortable user friendly headset to use for much of the day.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersBest headphone I’ve used! I work from home for call centre and need a decent headset. I also get bad migraines so need a headset that is comfortable, not too tight or heavy and doesn’t allow allsorts of beepy screechy noises! This fits the bill perfectly
