Sits well on a curved monito
I wanted a webcam that I can use as a head tracking device, I know a bit basic, but it works, main thing here
Camera qulaity is ok, not like it is advertised at 4k, but it does the job
    I would recommend this

Good picture quality at this price poi
I’ve been happily suprised by this Webcam, being an upgrade for me from my now antique 480 Webcam from a decade ago, however the advertised 2K quality may or may not be there.

Build wise, the Webcam emplyes basic plastic construction, in this case, leaning towards the more cheap feeling plastics side of things and this is obvious to touch and weight as it is quite light, a plus point I suppose if you intend to carry this arround though I don’t imagine most would. That said, it still feels sturdy enough to me and considering it’s likely to be set up and not touched again for ages, I can’t really complain here. Build quality is allright 🙂

More importantly, the picture quality is alright too. As mentioned, for me, funnily enough coming from an aging 480p Webcam, this is an upgrade and still working from home, my colleagues have immediately noticed the drastic difference over Teams meetings. I haven’t managed perform any technical tests to properly confirm whether the camera actually outputs a 2K resolution, however seeing as I used 2K monitors, I’d have to say that I’ve a little doubtful about the advertised 2K quality. Don’t get me wrong, at this price, I still think this Webcam is a steal 🙂 however it seems to feels to me more akin to a 1080p experience. It’s also worth noting (though honestly like most cameras) that it performs better in better/higher lighting conditions as opposed to darker conditions where more grain is introduced into the picture. I have provided some pictures taken WITH this webcam in average/medium light conditions for reference.

All that said, overall, I am very happy with this Webcam and it 100% will be an upgrade for anyone coming from a much older cam and certainly at this price. If however you are looking for Twitch Stream quality 2K or better, then I would keep looking. I will however give plus points to this Webcam for also having a tripod adapter on the bottom of its mount which would come in handy if you have that kind of setup. 🙂

Functional Webcam with fairly decent quality for the price
Like many others who use their system for business a webcam is now quite vital. I have one built into my laptop but like all of those it’s some awful potato grade thing that cost Lenovo as little as possible.

I decided to give this one a whirl and I am pleasently surprised how well it does for what it obviously a low cost option.

    The Good:
    – Driver free Plug’n’Play, took a few seconds for Win 10 to get it up and running
    – Records 1440p @ 30fsps (see sample video)
    – Monitor clip is lined to prevent slips and does the job just fine

    The Not So Good:
    – Colours are a bit washed out, not world ending but as you can see in the sample picture and video with my Kaonashi (No Face) plush, it’s a bit unnatural. Fine for web meetings but maybe not for content creation
    – Fine detail a bit tricky for the sensor, again see the test video and photo
    – LED’s are barely visible outside of a darkened room, it’s not easy to see the red power LED in any sort of daylight. The blue is better to let you know it’s in use but still very dim in daylight
    – Housing seem to get quite warm to the touch after being in use
    – Microphone is ok, it works and does the job but a little harsh sounding
    – 1/4″ Thread barely of use, not sure what the deal is here but none of my threads could make a satisfying mating and all seemed to fall out with a slight knock, again not world ending if you are using the monitor perch

All in all if you are after a webcam that’s better than the grainy thing in your laptop, or just need to join a Zoom meeting this will do the job fine. If you are looking to start content creation I would recommend investing in one of the big brands offerings.

Great for anyone who works remotely
The Arfriqka AFKA 2K Webcam has become my favorite for work meetings. Just plug it in and start video calling on Zoom or anything else. No drivers needed!

It has crystal clear video and you can choose between three angles to get the ideal shot. The built-in microphone cancels out background noise. It’s small and lightweight and has transformed my online meetings into smooth and productive experiences. I highly recommend it!

It is a must-have for your home office setup.

Reasonable for the price but images can be grainy
For it’s low price point this camera is not bad, I’ve certainly seen worse cameras costing almost twice as much. Build quality is reasonable and it feels fairly weighty for it’s small size. The adjustable mounting mechanism seems sturdy and the camera sits nicely on my widescreen monitor with ease. The only thing missing is a privacy shade which in today’s security conscious world is a bit of an oversite by the manufacturer. Fortunately this can easily be resolved with a piece of folded card although this doesn’t look as aesthetically pleasing as a proper privacy shade hence my 4 star rating.

Picture quality is fair for this price point but can be a little grainy and the image does seem to suffer from banding and random diagonal interference. This might be due to my cable placement or USB socket?

Supplied without drivers, this camera relies on those built into Windows to operate correctly. At first I was puzzled as to how you go about launching the camera but this was quickly solved using Windows Search next to the start button, just type ‘open camera’ (see photo). I’m using Windows 11 so this may differ on previous iterations of Windows.

Launching the Windows ‘Camera App’ software reveals the camera display itself, plus a host of user settings which can be accessed by clicking the cog icon in the top lefthand corner of the window. Here you will gain access to the camera, photo and video settings. Also worth mentioning, at first launch I noticed the camera was actually set to use 1080p video resolution instead of the higher 1440p (2K) resolution. Switching between the two however revealed no discernible difference in picture quality.

Although I have yet to use this camera for video conferencing I did record a short test video of myself to check the output quality which was fair but again a little grainy. Movement was more fluent without being jittery thanks to the 30fps (frames per second) video output and this should be perfectly adequate for it’s intended purpose.

Great Quality Visuals for A Budget Webcam - Slightly Let Down By Audio
Must admit despite being somewhat a computer geek, had never heard of the brand Arfriqka. I already had two ‘HD’ webcams (still available at almost double the price), so was interested in how this Afriqka AFKA24 compares.

The first thing to get out the way is the ‘2K Ultra HD Clarity’. This relies not just on pixel resolution, but the quality of the sensor and indeed lens. With a relatively budget and small camera product, it is unreasonable to expect state of the art visual quality.

Installation is a doddle, recognised immediately by Windows 10, without any need to install additional drivers. The camera could be viewed straight away via the ‘Camera’ app. The image quality is stunning for the price, sharp and the lens has the ability to maintain focus to around 30 cm (12 inches) . The audio quality not so great, appears a little bass heavy, lacking some sparkle — but given the price is adequate. Personally use an external microphone set-up, which generally provides better sound irrespective of webcam.

It is quite a wide (10 cm) webcam, fine for desktop computer monitors, but not really suitable for notebook screens — unless exceptionally large. The USB cable is a useful 1.4 M in length, which if not long enough can always be extended by a USB extension cable. The colour is advertised as black, but this only applies to the front fascia and stand, the webcam case is a silver grey. Nevertheless, does not widely look out of place on a black computer monitor. Commendably the webcam can both be manually swivelled and tilted to frame an image.

In terms of image quality, a great improvement on a well-known HD web cam product at double the price. Audio quality could be a little clearer. It would also have been nice to have been provided with software to exploit further capabilities, such as auto tracking, colour correction (for artificial light), and exposure. Overall a fine web cam, with only audio quality detracting from a maximum rating.

    Good webcam
    This is a decent webcam.
It is somewhat plasticky in build quality, but the picture and mic quality is pretty good.

It’s a simple USB plug and play set up so couldn’t be easier.
My work PC accepted the camera straight away and it worked on Teams calls, giving acceptable results and an ok picture quality.

The picture quality is ok for meetings. I’d say it might not be good enough for streaming, vlogging etc but I’m not sure if with proper lighting etc you would find it suitable.

Overall an inexpensive solution for a webcam for work meetings.

    Ok for the money
I normally use the webcam on my laptop, but as I then look at my main monitor, people get the side view. Having a separate webcam means I can position it where I want for the most natural angles, ie so it looks like I’m paying attention to people on calls.

This little device plugs in and just works – couldn’t be simpler.
A fact which is perhaps reflected in the manual, which is one tiny sheet of paper that mostly says “plug it in”.

Picture quality is pretty good, but does have a bit of a pinkess to skin tones, and there’s no option to change the colour balance.

The product is sold as having the ability to change the FOV. Which would be very handy as it is quite wide. However, I can’t find any option to change it. There doesn’t seem to be any buttons on it at all.

The little stand it comes with is surprisingly capable, it gripped the top of my monitor quite well. You can also use it on a tripod, or free standing on a desk if you prefer.

    Well Pleased
Well pleased with how easy it was to use and set up.
Picture quality is very good, colour quality very good.
The icons at the front light up to say its working, But no on / off button !
I like to see when its working and be able to switch it off and on independant why .. well i want to know if anyone can remotly use it, in this day and age ciber spying is on the increase.
If a red light was on it would show it was in use ! you only get a green switch on/off light that is not actualy a switch and does not alter when in use .. A bit strange.
You do get a blue light that says speaker is on (I think thats what its for) although both these lights are very dim. see first picture the second shows a bright green light when my own laptop camera is on., quite visable.

The only other little gripe is how it just sits on the lap top

    Webcam Streaming
I bought it for my son, who is heavily into webcam streaming – he just needed a camera.
With this product he also got a little microphone, making any Zoom or Skype broadcasts available to him.
    Highly recommended (he says).

Easy to set up, works well.
Decent enough webcam, great for simple video conferencing tasks. Works pretty well even in low light situations, providing a nice bright and clear image with no apparent artifacting or smearing.

Windows 10 picked it up automatically and had it installed straight away and working.

It claims to do 2K images, but the image quality doesn’t appear any better than standard 1080pHD, in fact it may even be slightly grainier.

There are two indicator lights on the front, one for power and one to show the camera is active. However they’re incredibly dim and can only really be seen when it’s in a low light situation so they’re almost useless.

Overall a decent camera for its intended purpose.

No driver plug and play 2k webcam
Thank you for reading my review of the Arfriqka AFKA 2K USB Webcam Streaming with Microphone Adjustable FOV, noise-cancelling, video calling – HD 2K Video Camera for Zoom, Skype, Teams – Laptop, Desktop, Conferencing.

When looking for a webcam it needs to be quick and responsive as soon as you plug it in and this camera certainly can do that although I feel the 2k quality is capable but requires good lighting or you may see noise in the video feed as it cannot compensate.

The microphone playback seemed good enough but volume levels will need adjusting otherwise playback of recordings may seem on the quiet side. It does not have any fancy features such ANC – Active Noise Cancellation or AI enhancements or audio coding.

Some of it’s top features include; no driver installation, photo resolution 4:3/16:9 upto 2560×1440 (0.3MP – 3.7MP) and video quality upto 1440p 4:3/16:9 @ 30fps. You may find more features using professional software but this is about it for Windows.

I like the stand it is sturdy and grips well, I feel it will sit well on most computer monitors and television sets if you have a minimal bezel frame. I do not believe it will sit well with no bezel television sets.

As for compatibility it will work with Windows PC’s just fine but doubt it will be recognised with smart TV’s as big brand names will want you to buy particular webcam models so check ahead!

After much testing I came to the conclusion this is a reasonably priced webcam with minimal features considering it doesn’t need drivers for Windows 7, 10, 11 it will work well for everyone but if you need something for live streaming I would spend a little more. The power indicator only demonstrates it is receiving power and the device is on and I do not believe it supports bluetooth or wifi despite the confusing symbol on the front. This is a no thrills USB webcam only that supports plug and play out of the box!

    Great Produc
This webcam does what it says.
The picture quality is a lot better than my built in 1080p webcamera.
It’s not too big and fits easy to a monitor.
For the price it’s fantastic value.

    Plug and play webcam !
I recently purchased the Arfriqka AFKA 2K USB Webcam. Unlike most webcams on the market, this one is plug-and-play, meaning you don’t need any third-party drivers or software installed. Just unbox it and plug it into your computer’s USB port. That’s all. It may take a minute to configure everything for the first time, but that’s it. The camera will be immediately available in all supporting apps like Teams, Google Meet, Zoom, Skype, etc.

Speaking of build quality, it’s perfect. The picture quality is also decent, considering the price point. Obviously, you can’t expect crystal-clear 4K videos for less than 20 quid. In fact, it’s better than many mainstream manufacturers’ mid-range cameras that cost almost double the price. It sits nicely on the monitor, and the viewing angle can be adjusted. It also comes with a built-in microphone, but I prefer to use my headphones’ microphone, which has ANC.

On the front side, you can see a power button and WiFi signs. I tried clicking them, but nothing happened. Anyway, that doesn’t bother me. Overall, it’s a nice product in a decent price range.

Picture quality is great, built not grea
    The good points:
The video and sound quality of this camera are sharp and clear, it is described as having a noise cancelling microphone, my colleagues cannot tell any difference from this and my other camera so I am not sure how well this work or not.
The camera sits above the mount which means that it is stable on top of my monitor and does not get in the way of the screen on monitors with narrow bezels, I have another camera which is mounted out front and always falls forwards.
There is also a tripod mount on the bottom so could be mounted independently of a monitor for conference calling.
    The bad points:
There appears to be an LED light on the front to tell you when the camera is on, unfortunately it seems that there is just a hole on the front and themed is mounted on the back of the case so you need to look from a very specific angle to see that its o

Very good but doesn't actually seem 2k
Overall it’s a good webcam. The second picture is a sample from it, colours are muted but fine, the picture is slightly redder in hue than normal (has a warmer tone) and overall everything looks very decent.
one thing I noticed was it doesn’t deal with my black shirt well, showing light rgb pixelation on it, nothing too distracting and strong but something to be aware of. The picture quality overall is good, but we cams that say 2k etc often miss out the other parts of a good picture such as colour etc. This one is decent but the colour isn’t perfect, much like a lot of webcam like these.
it is plug and play with windows and the autofocus is quick and works well, if you’re a medium distance from your monitor should be fine. May not if you’re really close. The fit is good enough, the but under swivels and opens up like most webcam mounting mechanisms. The look of silver looks slightly cheap to be honest but nice to have a different webcam colour from the standard black.
Overall I’d say it’s a solid webcam good for meetings etc, will definitely meet your basic needs with good picture quality but wouldn’t expect more from it.
