I use a travel mug at home because I hate lukewarm coffee. After spending an awful lot of money over the years on a variety of travel mugs (some very expensive). I have finally found one which, I absolutely love. Its very reasonably priced, simple straightforward sturdy, comfortable in my small hand and nice to drink from. Ideal for my needs.
Being bedridden, living in a care home, I needed a spillproof thermal cup the right size so at my first, morning call, my carers can begin by making me a coffee to drink while my breakfast is prepared. Once my drink is finished, a second can be made to last me through until my lunchtime call. The same activity can be repeated until my evening call when another fresh coffee after the evening meal will suit me until “bedtime” (bedtime is continuous for me; what I meant was my time to sleep!) This Cup solves every problem for me. Keeps the ideal amount of coffee for me, at the right temperature for me, with zero risk of spillages.
Looks good and doesn't leak if used properly
Great product I use it for hot and cold drinks. It doesn’t leak however be careful when washing because if you damage circular rubber seal in the lid the liquid can escape.
easy to use
Great mugs, kept coffee hot for at least 3 hours. Was easy to hold, especially for my husband who has trouble gripping items. Cleaning them was easy. Tip:- I fill my mugs with hot water before doing my coffee.

Solid travel coffee cup
Sturdy, solid travel mug.
Lid screws on flush and cap cover is strong to ensure leak proof (I find some lids don’t actually stop the mug from leaking but this one covers the air spout as well so no leakage)
Slip proof bottom is a bonus too.
Only potential con is when you put the the little cap cover back it can be hard to unclip it.
Perfect for Brews
I bought this as a travel cup but I’m using it as my default mug in the house as well now. The cup is well made and does not leak. It has a nice feel to it and is comfortable to hold. Even with hot liquid inside the cup can be held. It has a lid which flips up, or alternatively you can remove the whole lid to drink from it. It cleans well although it is not to be used in the dishwasher. It fits neatly in car cup holder also. The main features I like of this cup is the fact it doesn’t leak, it keeps drinks cold/warm and its the perfect size. Really pleased with it.
Steady temperature
Holds temperature well. Used in an office where lidded mugs are mandated.
Tips. Add a dash of cold water to drink once made otherwise it stays too hot to drink for ages.
Very gently blow into mouth hole and feel temperature of air from the air vent hole on upper lip to avoid scalding.
If not filled completely when first putting boiling water in, close and open flip cap 30 seconds after first closing as the liquid warms the air above and builds up pressure.
Amazing travel.mug
I bought this coffee travel mug back in August 2021, it’s now Jan 2024 and just ordered another one. I must say it’s the best mug I’ve ever had, so much that my partner is using mine! It’s easy to drink from as it resembles a normal cup, the lid is very secure, doesn’t spill, keeps drink hot for long! Moreover it got thrown up in the air (by accident) and landed on hard floor, and it’s still usable and spillproof. It’s ocassionally been washed in the dishwasher but mostly by hand which I think helps with longevity, it’s only got a few scuffs.
This is one of the best purchased I’ve ever made as I saved loads on not buying take away coffee, I now look forward to receive my second one and hope for the best amazing quality. Totally recommend it.

Bought this mug for wife, for use whilst traveling to work. It is only a 30 minute trip, but by then it is already bleeding heat. Within the hour the only place the black coffee goes is down the sink, as it is stone cold! Perhaps I should of just stuck with what I know and bought a thermos one?

Fantastic customer service from this company. After reading my review they contacted me wanting to make things right. We discussed what was wrong and they sent me a new black one. Unsure whether it has anything to do with the colour or the first one was defective. The Wife tells me that the cup now feels cold in her hand when transporting, whereas the red one was warm towards hot. Was this the issue? Probably! Now the cup keeps hot for at least 3 hours. Our interaction with the customer services (not Amazon) who went above and beyond, to make sure we had a product that worked, were second to none. Rest assured, if it had been rubbish again, I would of written that here in a heart beat. Would buy again.
I’ve had this cup for almost 2 months and it’s used 5 out of 7 days (it’s my work mug) so I think I’m ready to review it fairly.
First up, this is NOT a full on vacumn flask that will keep hot things hot and cold things cold for 12+ hours. If thats what you’re looking for then go buy a flask…..this is a cup.
So what do you get. You get an not unattractive rather plain looking (except for the word coffee) metal travel mug with no handle and a rubber panel on the base. The lid screws on and off and has a silicon seal with a flip/clip drinking hole cover. The inside looks to be bare metal while the outside seems to be a textured paint finish. It fits neatly into the cup holder in my car (something the last one didn’t) as well.
Mine has been totally leakproof (so far). With the lid screwed on and the cover clipped into place (a small rubber section seals the drinking hole and another small piece of rubber seals the small air hole) I can hold it upside down and not a drop leaks out. Flip the cover up (it’s hinged across the centre) and over and it neatly fits into a cut out on the other side (some reviewers have said theirs “sticks” and has to be levered out of the cut out to close it, mine doesn’t but something to be aware of).
The main body of the cup is vacumn insulated which makes the cup cool to hold even if filled with boiling liquid (if yours feels hot all over almost as soon as you fill it then return it it’s defective). Any heat loss will be through the plastic lid which gets quite warm when the cup is filled with hot tea/coffee/whatever, this heat also leaks into the very top of the metal body of the cup (never in my experience hot enough to burn but very warm).
This heat loss is why this cup is not as effective as a full on flask so don’t expect it to be. Will it keep your drink hot/cold for far longer than a single skinned travel cup? Yes it will, though to be fair my drink is usually drunk in less than 2 hours.
It’s easy to clean (hand wash, its not to go in the dishwasher) and it’s metal so the microwave is a big no no. These warning are on the rubber base in case you forget.
Is it a good insulated travel cup and value for money? For me it is, so much so I’m considering buying the larger size that is also available for those looooong work days.
Is it perfect? Nope, but I’d be amazed if we ever get an affordable “perfect” travel cup.

I am very happy to write that after a long trawl looking for a suitable solution to me constantly purchasing paper cups, I have found the perfect cup for the car. Here’s why: I travel into work every day and take a cup of freshly made latte coffee for the journey. This saves around 2.60 each day – no stops at a Costa Express required. I was buying bulk 12oz paper cups and lids to achieve this but was feeling very bad about the eco side of my consumption. I then switched to a porcelain 12oz cup with a silcone rubber lid but this lid had a certain smelltaste change that affected the coffee. Then I tried an eco cup from Aldi with a cork outer grip and ‘eco-plastic’ lining. In Summer, this would curdle the remnants of my latte so when you washed it after getting home, the smell was….[censored!]. So now we’re onto my final choice of 4 cup types – this insulated cup. It is a vacuum lined metal flask really. But it just feels like the slightly wider 12oz paper cup we all know. It is solid and robust – last a lifetime type stuff. The metal lining is brilliant for washing. The screw on lid is safe for spills and seals perfectly. The drink hole flipper neatly sits in in two positions – fully integrated into the lid – and when its in the closed position you get a reassuring resistance as it seals the drink hole from leakage. With a cup full of hot coffee, I somersaulted it into the air and caught it – not even a molecule of liquid escaped. The heat retention is AMAZING! Excellent for icy cold drinks too. But the single BIGGEST plus will be the fact that at the end of a Summer’s day, left in your car, when you open it back up again it won’t have curdled the contents like all the others tried.
This 13oz (369.37ml) black and stainless steel insulated coffee cup is fantastic. It keeps my coffee warm for hours and to show how and with it getting much colder in the mornings I need this for my rush hour experience. It fits neatly in the cup holders in the central console of my car, and is short enough to sit comfortably in the cup holder underneath the arm rest (so it would be possible to use two at the same time in my new Nissan Juke).
I have used this for food as well as coffee this week too. Noodles and soup were carried securely with the drips or leaks from the lid. Food and hot drinks have kept warm for my entire work day (Tuesday I didn’t actually eat the soup and it was still warm 10 hours later when I returned home).
The wall of the cup is nicely insulated — it retains heat very well so I’m guessing that its triple walled. It’s a good size and I’m interested in using it in the summer for cold drinks and such like.
Delivery was super quick. I can imagine myself using this a lot during the colder months of the youth rugby season. This will form a perfect part of my self preservation armoury against the element here in Wales! Rugby mums lives matter too!
Ive included a photo with an ice cube to demonstrate the heat retention. No heat escapes whatsoever from the joins in the lid. It’s fantastic (though you may need to use a rubber glove to release the vacuum grip if its been on for a number of hours). As a side note it is super easy to clean and as a result doesn’t bare the taste of certain well known brand cups that have complicated lids and spouts and flaps. This is great. Simple to take apart and wash at high temperatures. No stagnant coffee taste embedded in the inside of the cup, its stainless steel so no plastic smells. An all round great cup
