Specifically wanted a clear glass screen protector (not matte) found this one that included an install frame and thought I’d give it a go. It’s easy enough to install (though the size of the Tesla screen does makes it harder than a regular phone/tablet), but it’s been on now for a few weeks now and really pleased with it.
No cleaning pad or lint remover. It went on well but no thanks to the product. If you don’t mind cleaning the screen, the old fashioned way, then this protector just clips on & in one pull of the tab applies the protector exactly on the screen. Look out for air pockets & smooth away.
At almost half the price as its comparable alternative , this is a no brainer for your Model 3/y.
Never expected it to fit so perfectly!
I even asked my wife to spot the difference but she couldn’t as the screen protector covered the edges almost 99% perfectly and unnoticeable except someone tells you.
The installation kits also put a lot of attention to detail. And was well thought out by the manufacturer.
Please be careful to clean the screen properly before fitting the protector. You can set tesla to screen cleaning mode.
I can confirm that this does work with a 2023 Model 3 and the screen protector is easy to use.
The former it comes with does make application easy but you really have to give the screen a darn good clean prior to application as the protector does seem to amplify any slight blemishes.
There is a setting on your screen that actually allows cleaning before applying this.
If you’ve ever put a screen protector on a phone then you’ll know that those little air pockets are irritating. There’s one little one on my screen now that catches my eye more often than it should – so I’ll be messing with that in the coming days – but on the whole this is a decent product that does the advertised job.
