Ich habe mir das Gert gekauft, da es Bluetooth hat und ich damit eine App bedienen kann. Ich habe schon lange einen solchen Entfernungsmesser aus der grnen Serie. Der tut auch, aber eben ohne Verbindung zum Handy. Dieser hier hat deutlich mehr Features und funktioniert gefhlt auch besser. Die Entfernungsmessung, Wasserwagenfunktion, mehrere Messwerte und Rechen, sind top Funktionen. Der Preis ist ein Hammer. Ich wei nicht, ob ein solches Gert so teuer sein msste. Nun wie dem auch sei, ich bin mit der Leistung bislang zufrieden. Hier hat Bosch ein durchaus brauchbares Gert auf den Markt gebracht.

Herramienta indispensable para arquitectos, ingenieros e interioristas.
Es una herramienta bastante prctica para medir distancias largas, ya que prcticamente no se requiere de la ayuda de alguien ms para medir distancias largas donde usualmente el flexometro se dobla, no alcanza a cubrir y ocurren la mayora de las desviaciones en la precisin de las lecturas.
Me ha ayudado mucho a sacar medidas en puntos difciles donde existen muebles de por medio u otro tipo de obstculos, as como sacar medidas de reas de habitaciones para clculos de pisos y otros acabados.
Con la App de bosch se maximizan sus beneficios, ya que puedes generar croquis, tomar fotos para clarificar, hacer anotaciones y generar reportes en pdf con clculos automticos de reas, distancias, etc.
Sin duda una gran herramienta de trabajo para los que necesitamos medir de forma frecuente.
Para distancias cortas como medir una mesa, recomiendo comprar unas bases especiales que tienen un “target” dibujado, o en su defecto seguir usando el flexometro, ah si no hay falla.
Es muy recomendable adquirir bateras recargables o comprar la batera recargable especial para este modelo.
Accurate and clear laser measure

Accurate and dead easy to use
I had a laser measuring device a few years ago and it was hopeless. On a verified (with measuring tape) 6 foot distance itmade the distance 5 feet 6 inches – a large error. Tried it in all kinds of lighting conditions and it was always wrong! It ended up the recyle bin! But technologies improve and this is made by Bosch so…… since tape measures are not always practical when working alone – time for another try!
Happy to report that this device works perfectly. I did the 6 foot test and the Bosch and my old tape measure were in complete agreement. You can set it to measure the distance from the measure to a distant object or (if you want to put the device against a wall to get the total width of a room) to include the length of the device itself. Results can be in metric (M,Cm, mm) or imperial (feet inches, fractions). After a stable measuremnet is taken the device vibrates slightly which means that you don’t need to be watching it – handy if you’re somewhere a bit precarious such as scaffolding or on a ladder.
The colour display is bright and crisp and the device comes with a leather case and can be attached to your belt. Very robustly built and will stand up to a lot of abuse – essential on sites or in messy environments (Ip65 so rain and spills are not going to bother it). Battery powered (AAA x 2 which are supplied with it)
All that is enough probably – but there is far more. The device has bluetooth connectivity and can thus connect to a phone or tablet or PC to send the measurements it takes to a smart device. Using the Bosch App you can make diagrams of a building or a space and put the measurements the GLM 50 takes into your drawing. For builders, surveyors or architects this is certain to be a real boon!
Overall a very impressive package – however you use it.
Simply The Bes
My first measure with Bluetooth.
The unit works very well and appears to be very accurate and if you are old like me it can be set to Imperial units e.g. a reading of 8’06” 11/32 or of course metric units.
I have noted the app defaults to metric but can be changed under the settings menu, see my picture. Using Android 11 on a Samsung device.
It can of course not only measure distance but is a level and can also measure area.
The app just finds the device, no need to go to the phone pairing menu and you can tap the readings and paste them into a note.
The app has other functions that I have not tried.
Works off 2 x AA’s which are provided and has a tripod style mount on the rear.
Colour display is easy to read.

Lser de medicin con MUCHOS pero muchos mucho extras y funcionalidades.
El medidor es una herramienta bien construida, pensada para durar y ser de utilidad en cualquier circunstancia.
La mayora de funciones las he probado y puesto a prueba. Tiene mucha precisin pero sobre todo RAPIDEZ en las mediciones y fluidez por los mens. Al igual que el control de la app que te proporciona todava ms control, seguimiento del trabajo y manejo del telmetro.
Al final del da lo que quiere un usuario de este tipo de herramientas es el mximo rendimiento en su tiempo de trabajo.
Como lo hace? -> midiendo sper rpido y preciso, notificando con vibracin, realizando clculos matemticos en base a medidas que te va pidiendo, guardando histrico de medidas en el telfono incluso te permite visualizar tus mediciones en un esquema/plano, permitiendo tambin organizar proyectos en carpetas y aadirle foto de la obra, etc…
El el vdeo se pueden ver diferentes pruebas, tratando de buscar el fallo. Ha dado la talla en casi todo.
Lo que ms me gusta:
-Interfaz madura, mens simples y funcionalidades explicadas. Medidor lser centrado en la UX (experiencia de usuario)
-Inmediatez de las mediciones
-Conectividad bluetooth y app funcionando sin complicaciones
-Robustez del lser. Simplemente increble (ver vdeo). Gomas, bordes, peso, medidas, proteccin contra salpicaduras, etc…
Lo que menos me gusta:
-Pilas? como opcin B vale, pero que no incluya batera y se pueda cargar en el propio lser…
-Inconsistencia de mediciones en el modo nivel. No es grave, teniendo en cuenta que es un telmetro no un nivel.
Conclusiones:
-De los mejores telmetros del mercado, con toda la experiencia y soporte de la marca a la espalda. El aparato realiza un gran trabajo multidisciplinar (que se complementa con la APP) ya que tiene muchas funciones diferentes, de hecho es recomendable explorar bien las operaciones que realiza. Adems, hay que sumarle la conectividad y la APP, que multiplican la versatilidad del medidor al poder trabajar digitalmente con las medidas y el histrico guardado. Lo que no me cuadra es que venga con pilas y tenga algo de desfase en el nivel.
De todas formas es un muy buen medidor centrado en rendir al mximo en ambientes exigentes de trabajo para profesionales que es a quien se lo recomiendo, a particulares o bricomanacos les recomendara algo ms sencillo y econmico.
I thought a Bluetooth laser measure was just going to be another unnecessary bolting on of Bluetooth onto anything vaguely electronic. Because you know, everything is better with Bluetooth…but actually, with the companion app “Measureon”, I’m starting to think this is a great idea.
Starting with the device itself, it feels robust – lots of plastic and rubber but it doesn’t feel cheap, just ruggedised. The pouch is your standard canvas belt loop pouch, it’s fine. The green laser is infinitely better than red, it really makes you wonder why they began with red, it’s much more visible even in direct sunlight.
The functions are great, your basic point click measure, a continuous measure and digital level amongst the very useful. There are the more complicated, area, volume, staking out and indirect measure – requires a bit more learning to make proper use of but once you get the hang of it they perform well enough to be useful. I wouldn’t want to be staking out a house foundation using this and an ‘indirect’ measure might be more easily done with your stone age tape measure – but if used in the right situations, they will be useful.
Obviously the app is probably the main reason you’d shell out 200 and it’s a mixed bag. On the one hand, it’s quick to install, open, draw out your layout, connect the device and get measuring. So it’s actually pretty impressive in terms of seamless/quick working. I’d like to see more functionality though, you can draw out the shape of your layout and it will snap it automatically into straight lines – great. Click on one layout line to input length, click the lasers measure button and it scales the wall on the apps drawing and records the measure automatically – great. You can also take pictures and draw on them, and again automatically drop in measurements from the device e.g. take a picture of a wardrobe and measure it’s dimensions. But that’s it – the device has several functions that would require the old pencil and paper to make use of. It’s a very early release of the app however so I’d imagine some more functionality is in development.
All in all, if you’re a professional of any kind, plumber, leccy, builder – this is a great piece of kit that could save hours in your quotes/prep work, producing accurate drawings to work from very quickly. Pricey? Yes. But the time saved will quickly pay for this and then some. Reccomended
Feature-packed high quality professional tool, but not cheap!
I’ve had this for a few weeks now and have used it to check measurements and angles on a building project that was started with a standard tape measure. It has a host of features, many of which I’ve not had a chance to use, including calculating lengths from indirect measurements, a built-in level that also calculates angles (very useful for determining the angles of my project roof line!), and calculating wall areas and room volumes.
There is an app available too that I haven’t tried yet, but the device is bluetooth enabled so measurements can be transferred instantly to the app for recording, planning, etc.
I’ve dropped this a few times onto concrete and wooden floors with no ill effects, and it’s waterproof and dustproof too, so can be washed after messy jobs, and will withstand rain. drops in puddles etc.
The display is clear and very easy to read (it’s similar to the old candy-bar or feature phones of the early 2000s) and the menus are pretty easy to navigate once you’re used to what each icon means, though there are quite a few layers sometimes to get to the function you want.
There is only one small drawback and that’s that the laser has to hit something in order for the measurement to be made – you can’t use this to, for example, mark off lengths of wood like you can with a normal tape measure, but then that’s not what this is intended for.
One impressive task this device did manage was to accurately measure the length of my garden at over 40m!
It is more expensive that some of the laser measures here, but given the feature list and the bluetooth integration, along with the Bosch name, it’s probably worth the investment for a professional.
I’m not much of a fan of Bosch equipment as most of their ‘consumer’ products are fairly low rent. At one time I used to look at Bosch as being a cut above but the fact is that most of their DIY market stuff is not particularly good.
So, I wasn’t expecting much but, by gum I was wrong.
Clearly Bosch have made the marketing decision to differentiate their tools into a green range – DIY and a professional range in blue. I guess that’s similar to how Stanley treated Black and Decker and DeWalt.
And there is a real difference. I already have a Bosch ‘green’ stud finder and now this pro-level measurement tool and it’s very obvious that there is a step change in quality. The choice of materials, the tactile feel and the operation are worlds apart.
In use this is superb. Really. You have the straight forward one line measurement but also other options such as room area and volume that can be automatically calculated with the measurements.
And to ensure that the measurement is correct there is also an indicator that ensures it will not take a measurement unless the tool is exactly level. That avoids you taking a shot at an angle leaving you with an inaccurate distance.
The actual unit is also small and will easily fit into a pocket for easy carrying and regular daily use.
Overall, this is the best laser measurement tool I’ve ever used and I have had a few.
Clever bit of tech.
I already have a basic laser measure, which does the job, but this Bosch offering has much more going for it.
In the box you get the device and carry case, strap, batteries and instruction book.
Inserting the batteries into their sealed compartment is easy (at this point I noticed the tripod mount thread on the back), and just like a man I skipped the instructions and jumped right in.
I have to say using it is very intuitive. Buttons are clearly marked and the menus are easy to navigate.
Measuring is easy, just a button to press and a vibration and beep let you know the measurement is stored.
The green laser dot is easy to see, much easier than my other one which is red.
I checked measurements with a tape and they were bang on.
The screen, whilst it wont win any prizes for it’s resolution, is very clear and auto rotates to make it easy to read at any angle. The whole thing feels very robust and good in the hand. It’s rubber clad on all corners to survive knocks and drops.
The extra selling point of this model is it’s Bluetooth connectivity, allowing you to take measurements from the device and create room plans with them.
After initial connection problems, everything worked fine. Drawing rooms is easy, you can assign dimensions to them either from the data you have already, or you can use the phone app to activate the laser measure remotely! Not sure of the usefulness of that last bit as you would have to then go back to the device to move it for the next measurement … but it works seamlessly.
The app is not greatly intuitive I found, but there is a very comprehensive tutorial video available, which explains it’s workings clearly.
This app is free but it appears there is a subscription ‘Pro’ version available with more features.
You can export the schematics you produce in a few formats, eg. PDF, but not into a format that is editable in a CAD package as far as I can tell. Maybe something for a future update.
I have to say I am impressed with this device.
It has many modes for measuring covering everything you might want, length, area, volume, angles etc.. It is well made and will no doubt stand up to the rigors of daily use.
All this comes at a price though and although I think it’s too expensive for your average DIYer, the cost is not that great for a reliable bit of kit if your job relies on it. It is a Bosch Professional product after all.
An amazing professional tool!
What is it?
This is a professional grade laser measure, it shoots a green laser for better visibility and and measures up to 50 metres! It’s a rugged little too packed with really helpful features, a bright, easy to view screen and it’s IP65 rated (condensation & water spray).
How is it?
It’s certainly durable! I have always had confidence with Bosch products but this is my first experience with a professional grade product from the German brand. It feels super sturdy in the hand, like it has a lot of protection around the product itself to save itself from inevitable drops and knocks.
The laser measure is surprisingly simple to use and I am a DIY novice. Out of the box, measuring distances is so easy and a huge time saver for longer distances. I was able to map out the rear garden for builders to help plan its renovation in next to no time, the memory bank functions help with historical measurements.
Flicking through the other functions I particularly liked the levelling tool which saves space for storing a spirit level, while the tape measure tool proved extremely useful in the kitchen while we were measuring new spaces. The green laser is very bright so it is really to see even from afar.
The supporting app is really handy to plot out floor plans and measurements, you can even take photos and annotate on them, creating a builder’s digital workspace which is so useful! I’m still learning to use the rest of the functions, thankfully the Help mode has animations that show me how to use them best.
Conclusion/Verdict?
A crazy good tool which has reduced time and increased productivity. It isn’t a cheap product but this is reflected in the quality. This is a pure example of avoiding the ‘buy cheap buy twice’ situation people often find themselves in. Highly recommended!
A very impressive device.
I received this item through the Amazon Vine programme. A very impressive professional laser measuring device: this is a green laser so much more visible outdoors/in sunlight. No bigger than the usual size of laser measurers but packed with additional features.
Multiple language display, bluetooth connectivity and an app that will allow you to store details. Area and volume measurement, and a tripod mount. (I have to confess I haven’t gone through the app in detail but I understand that you can calculate quantities required in relation to area from within the app.)
The device has an electronic level display with a vibrate warning if it’s not level when taking a measurement.
Runs on two AA batteries, which are supplied.
Has a good grippy rubberised surface and has an optional lanyard supplied.
Is water and dust resistant to IP65 and is proof against drops to 1.5 meters.
Comes with a decent quality nylon case.
Priced at time of review at 214.90 it’s price reflects the technology involved and is intended for professional users rather than DIY types (like me!). A top-of-the-line bit of kit.
An excellent laser measuring tool
The menu navigation is very good and if you hold the measure on its side the different options are also displayed.
You get an audible noise and a buzz when the measure has been successful.
Very robust with rubber on all sides providing excellent grip.

When I first saw the price of the Bosch laser measurement device I found myself thinking that it was far too much money to ask. Being made in a low wage economy of Malaysia reinforced my opinion.
A multi language user guide accompanies the laser kit. The print quality and paper are low grade; the instructions more concerned with safety than developing an approach to how to use the device. It is just as well that a leaflet, in colour, accompanies the user manual as some might find it a bit hard going working out how to operate the device without it.
The laser unit is small enough, and light enough, to be held comfortably in the hand for some time. The build quality appears high; the screen a multi coloured delight.
It didn’t take me long to realize that my first impressions of being overpriced were wrong: the number of different functions that the Bosch is capable of is impressive:
Distance, area, volume, Pythagorean angles, spirit level, elevation, to name but a few. All computations are automatically stored in a 30 step memory section.
Two AA size batteries are supplied with the unit. There is also a lanyard but getting it into the place where Bosch intended it to go is going to be trial and error.
Bosch use the epithet ‘professional’ about this laser. Its a pleasure to be able to say that for once, a manufacturer has not overstated the value of its product. It is impressive and makes others that I have tested seem like late starters.
Da la casualidad que soy arquitecto y he tenido durante aos un medidor laser de la marca Hilti que me cost bastante de segunda mano en mi poca de estudiante, con este medidor laser de luz verde de Bosch hemos dado un importante salto cualitativo.
Es muy pequeo, funciona a pilas, tiene idioma espaol, con su lser de color verde es muy apto para exteriores y ms si lo combinas con unas gafas para luz verde (fciles de encontrar en cualquier ferretera), tiene medicin de ngulos y nivel de burbuja virtual, o sea con apoyarlo en la superficie te da el nivel exacto, adems se puede calibrar respecto a otra superficie, guarda memoria de las ltimas mediciones por si hay que repasar mediciones, hasta aqu elodo nivel.
Para las mediciones de distancia tiene modo de medida normal, clculo de rea con dos medidas, clculo de volumen con tres medidas, clculo de hipotenusas (por ejemplo para sacar alturas de edificios) y un sin fin de modos que puedes combinar con la app mvil que se conecta por bluetooth, con la cual podrs ir dibujando un plano de la estancia, croquis de carpinteras metlicas, puertas, ventanas etc, por lo que avanzamos un montn de cara a no necesitar hacer ningn croquis, no s cunta pia gastar pero al usar AA (incluidas) en ningn trabajo tendrs problema para encontrar donde comprar pilas para continuar.
Incluye una funda semi rgida para cinturn aunque es de un material que aguanta sin problema salpicaduras, polvo y golpes, adems muy muy compacto, menos que un telfono mvil de los de ahora, contando que cuesta una cuarta parte de lo que valan hace aos es una compra imprescindible para industrias y constructoras, nada que ver con medidores acsticos, que funcionan por ultrasonidos aunque sealen con un lser, en este caso es el lser el que rebota y da la medida, por lo que no le afecta el polvo, la climatologa, etc, puede como mucho fallar algo en cristales o superficies muy reflectantes, pero con poner un poco de cinta aislante o un papel se resuelve.
