I can’t say I am any sort of expert but contrary to some other reviews, I can see absolutely no indication that this isn’t the genuine article. Bottle, packaging and scent is identical. Very nice product, highly recommended.

Bought this for my son it wasn’t the usual Hugo boss I buy for him but he liked it so happy with that.He said the scent stayed on longer than most.
Smells clean and fresh and sophisticated.
I bought this for my son who absolutely loves it. This is a sophisticated fragrance. Great for the office environment or evening wear. fragrance lasts for a good ten hours.
I hate aftershave, I think it was being brought up at a time when adults ‘splashed it all over’ with Brut 55 or Old Spice. However, this is subtle, a bit joss stick like perhaps if put on too heavy, but not a strong smell, more a whiff. Each to their own, but finally I have found something I like.
