100 crayola
Great range of colors in the box. Easy for my children to use. Crayons last well. Nice smooth crayon.
Could of been packaged abit better though as the box was damaged, which caused a few crayons to he broken on arrival from the box being damaged.
I’m a massive fan of Crayola pencils.
They have decent pigmentation that can be layed for bolder colours & easy to blend between hues.
Colour range is good although some colours are only available in certain size packs – the 100 pack is the largest you can get but doesn’t have al colours.
Pictures attached all have Crayola pencils used and added to show depth of colour as well as blending that can be achieved by a novice.
CRAYOLA QUALITY
I write this review based on my decades of experience as a consumer. A long time Amazon top 300 reviewer
One of many arts and crafts related items bought for my grand daughter.
When it comes to it, the crayola brand is reliable decent quality although in the region of the most expensive of children’s craft supplies.
The extra expense for the increased quality is in the main worthwhile
This is the 2nd set of Crayola pencils I have owned – the first being a set of 50 purchased a number of years ago. They are absolutely worth every single penny, and if looked after last a long time. The colours are beautiful and vibrant and they are so smooth when colouring in. I was concerned there would be duplicate colours as it is a large set but each one is different. The pencils are comfortable to use and sharpen easily. Would fully recommend for both children and adults.
Initially I loved this colouring pencil set abs thought the colours were fabulous, but when you compare it to other sets it’s a bit disappointing. Although the colours are bright abs vibrant I did find that when you get half way down the pencil the leads break very easily which is not what I would expect from a Crayola product. Some pencils broke in the steadier sharpener from the start so found it quite annoying. If I’m honest I’d sooner spend the extra money and get a better quality set.
Good Value, Good Pencils!
I have had my pencils for a while now, but forgot to review them before now. I will be wanting to replace them sometime again soon I have had so much use from them. I deem them very good value, they arrived well packaged and I would HIGHLY RECOMMENDED them.
Lovely basic pencils
First box only had 98 pencils in so returned it and received another box. Lovely pencils, good density of colour and a wide range of colours.
Would be better if they were the triangular shape but they’re much more expensive!
Although I have tried various brands over the years, and my collection is always expanding with new brands, I still have CRAYOLA colouring pencils in my kit bag.
Back in 2015, I was delighted to find the elusive 50 x full-length pencils , thento get the 14 extra shadesthe 64 short versions so a bit of an addiction, really!
Then, I spotted these…
In this colourful (!) box, there are no less than 100 different coloured, round-barrelled, full-length pencils that come ready to use.
As you would expect, some are similar in shade, and whereas most lay down a fair layer of colour, some need a bit more pressure, e.g. the neon shades.
A few barrel colours are a bit different to the shade the core actually transfers to paper, e.g. PALE ROSE and some more complex sounding colour names do not, perhaps, conjure up an obvious shade, e.g. WINTER SKY, ABSOLUTE ZERO or SPRING FROST (last images below refer).
The pencils sharpen up well with a quality, regular-sized sharpener and a reasonable ‘point’ can be achieved, if required. In use, the quality pencils are pretty forgiving, although if they do get a sharp enough knock, the core may keep breaking, as can happen with any brand.
Disappointed in the past, I am currently campaigning to get all pencils marked ‘FRAGILE’, when shipped, either single or in larger quantities, like these. They are delicate tools.
The cardboard presentation box is OK, but it is sometimes not easy to get a single colour out or return it, depending on where it is in the box (and patience levels), so I transfer my favourite colours to a sturdy glass jar.
The 100 colours I received in my box appear to be as per the squiggles on the back of the box.
The colour names are not on the box I received, as indicated in one of the stock images above.
However, the colour name is on each pencil, in three languages, along with CRAYOLA.
It should be noted that the manufacturer reserves the right to replace a colour, if necessary, as is usual with a product of this kind.

Can't go wrong with Crayola's
I love Crayola’s I’ve been using them since I was in junior infants
Huge range of colours never scratchy
The only thing is the breakage when you’re sharpening them but I will continue to use and but these
Would absolutely recommend this produc
They are great! I was a bit worried to order these online as sometimes colourpencils get damaged if dropped etc., but so glad I ordered these! Only one of them seems to have been damaged – with that I mean when you sharpen it the tip immediately falls off as if the centre has been shattered into little pieces.
There are loads of colours and different shades, I love them! Would definitely recommend it and buy them again.
I really enjoy using Crayola pencils. They are good quality – forget they’re aimed at kids, because they’re eminently usable by adults – and good value. There’s a great variety of colours in this set; not quite the variation of the more expensive pencils available open stock, but a good range none the less. It’s a bit heavy on the pinks, with some very similar shades, and could possibly do with a couple more blues but there’s an excellent choice of skin tones and both ‘warm’ and ‘cool’ black pencils. I’d put them in the ‘medium’ grade for hardness; some are harder than others (mainly the lighter colours) but my experience of them is as a rule they lay down smoothly, blend well and sharpen without problems. I own and use other brands of pencils which all have their pros and cons and are often much pricier but for general, hobby use you can’t really go wrong with good old Crayola. The brand is iconic for a reason!
Really good quality pencils
Really good quality pencils. They blend well. I use them to blend other more expensive brands which don’t blend as well. The colours are all different. Unfortunately the set includes 10 dayglow pencils as well which are not very nice, but the rest are amazing! Well worth the price.
I absolutely love Crayola products!
I am an artist and although I use the more pigmented crayons like Derwent and Faber-Castell for commission work, these Crayola pencil crayons are fantastic for casual and non-commissioned work.
There are 100 different colours, and they all colour well. They glide on the paper and leave a decent amount of colour behind.
Only criticism is that sometimes the colour of the pencil doesn’t match the colour of the lead.
You pretty much know what you’re getting with Crayola stuff. This set is great value with plenty of variety. The pencils themselves are decent quality and the colour core is a nice consistency. Sure, they’re not quite up to the standard of Staedtler (but there are far more colours than the Staedtler Ergosoft range) and definitely not on a par with Derwent but for the price they are an excellent choice.
I notice another reviewer said Dark Chocolate is a shade of blue. It ain’t, it’s definitely brown. Some of the colours do have daft names but when in doubt, try ’em on scrap paper before committing to your masterpiece.
