Easy to set up and teach a 7 year old how to use. It even managed to keep her off her phone a couple of hours a day so money well spent. Brilliant quality as you’d expect from Crayola.
I bought this for my little girl (8) she is very arty. She said she loves it. It comes with pencils and templates to use on the light box which I didn’t realise.
Bought this as a Christmas gift and even I had a go and it’s a lot to draw and to try out and it comes with a few different pictures and designs…would say it’s a good product and good for kids aged 5 to ??
Good bit of kit for the money – especially if want something battery operated. Took a star off because the screen is not A4 – it is too short and too wide to for A4 paper. I’ve taped sticky notes to the side where the light is not covered by my paper. This helps to diffuse the light and shield my eyes. Can’t comment on the sturdiness or how long batteries will last as I haven’t had it long enough yet. It is a hard plastic, so don’t know how it will fare if dropped on a hard surface.
Bought for my7 year old who loves drawing and is always asking me to draw images from my magazines for her to colour. It’s a very simple lightbox.
Arrived quickly and well packaged. Price is ok, originally saw a few cheaper and that would’ve made more sense but really wanted it, prices fluctuate so much at Christmas! It wasn’t the box as in the advertised images- I chose this one as it showed a fashion theme. The tracing sheets inside are fairy & unicorn. I did note from an earlier comment to go online to crayola.com and you can download others and there I found loads more : catwalk, rockstar, animals, faces etc so made a pack to add this. Given 4 stars as seems like a good product but only used a few times since Xmas so shall have to measure durability and how useful it really is.

Great gift for kids
This is a brilliant toy for a little one who loves to draw. I bought it to gift to my daughter’s friend and it was very well received. The only problem I had was that it doesn’t come with batteries.
The product itself was as described, but the address label was stuck onto the box itself, obscuring some of the pictures and detail. Since this is a gift, I have had to carefully remove the label, which took a lot of time. Crayola offer a range of images to download and print off, but these were slightly out of alignment with my printer, and so some were “cut off”. The “tracing” paper supplied seems exactly the same as A4 printer paper, so it is not worth buying extra supplies of it. For all that, the light box works well and the possibilities are endless. Maybe more suitable for the upper age range of 5 – 15.
A good toy for children who enjoy drawing and colouring.
I bought this for my granddaughter, and she absolutely loves it. It took a while for her to get the hang of it, but once she realised what to do, she really got on well with it.
Absolutely disgusted with the state of the box upon delivery (bashed in and opened), not something I would want to present to my daughter for her birthday, luckily enough the product was still in tact or I would be sending it back!
The box was damaged and I have now given it to my granddaughter for her birthday. The light only works if you leave the back cover off of the battery. Can I please be advised how to return and get a new one.
