Very good anti-theft device.
I use this as a visual deterrent in a car with keyless-go. According to most revues, this is the most effective steering wheel mounted anti-theft device. Used in conjuction with the steering wheel glove provided in the full kit it leaves no marks on the wheel and is very easy to fit and remove. I have tried other types of cheaper devices and now believe Disklok is the best of the bunch.
Although this is an expensive item, it provides a good and highly visible deterant to the casual vehicle thief. I use this on our brand new Adamo motorhome as a deterant, along with an aftermarket alarm and tracker.
If someone is determined to steal your vehicle, they will take it, but this very sturdy but easy to deploy device should give you confidence that your vehicle will be safe.
I bought mine along with the bag and steering wheel protector sleeve which I feel is essential to keep everything in good order.
I would definitely recommend this steering wheel disclock. make sure you measure your wheel diameter and get the correct size version.
Great security
Very strong but also a bit heavy, not everyone would find it easy to fit and remove.
However, I’m satisfied that when I use this on my car it will still be where I left it when I return.
Lock, stock and safely secured vehicle
Brilliant steering wheel lock. I tried so many and they either did not fit despite saying they would fit my car make and model, or were too heavy to use. This was the best of all. Check the guidance on the website for sizing to buy the correct one for your car. Easy to install once you get used to using the spring mechanism with the key. Brilliant!

I have owned one of these for over 15 years now and it is the best steering wheel lock out there. When my brother bought himself a new car, I bought him one as a present and he is well pleased with it. Costly but better than having your car stolen. Mine still looks and works like new so I have absolutely no problems with recommending this buy. Well worth the money and peace of mind.

Easy to fit but I would recommend using the steering wheel cover. Also it’s a good idea to put up sun screen as the Disklok gets very hot in the sun.

It gives ease of mind. Very visible and thimus a deterrent to car thieves. Fits my toyota CHR perfect. It takes some time to put on or take off but that is the essence anyway.
Having had my last car stolen, I bought this car lock to reduce the chances of it’s happening again. It is reassuringly heavy, but not to the point where it discourages me from using it. I like that the construction resists attack from angle-grinders and is so obvious that the average thief will take one look and then move on to something which is less of a challenge.
I read a lot of reviews before I purchased, and noted that the lock on the disklok can be difficult. Accordingly, I sat down with the device and played with it until I knew how to make the mechanism work easily every time. I discovered that after opening the lock, the key has to be returned to its starting point. There’s no spring for this, you just have to turn it yourself, then you can remove it. I also made sure all three keys worked.
I bought the disklok, steering wheel sleeve and carry case as a package deal and recommend this. The weight of the disklok will scratch your steering wheel unless you protect it, so the steering wheel sleeve or similar is essential; the carry case makes it easier to manage the lock on journeys with passengers.
Please note that the disklok comes in a variety of sizes, so measure your steering wheel and pick the right size for your car. To small or too large will make the device less secure.
Solid and secure
Well made and solid security feel to it, the locking system is easy to operate, however, the unit is a little heavy (even though I had the small one) and my wife struggles with it.
I had the wheel cover and storage bag which helps keep things clean and tidy when in storage.
All in all a good solid unit.
Seems Robus
Having a vehicle that has hit the headlines recently as a popular car for thieves I decided to look for an aftermarket security device. The Disklok is big, ugly but certainly seems robust in itself. I can forgive the ugly if it puts off potential thieves, but I am not sure what the arm is intended to do. The disk itself does not grip tight on the steering wheel so spins freely meaning the steering wheel cannot be turned, which I thought was the point. The lock is a bit fiddly in that once unlocked the key needs to be turned back 180 deg to allow the key to be withdrawn. It would be better if there were built in spring return. I bought the lock as a set with the steering wheel cover and a carry bag. To me these are a must. It is quite heavy; I am not sure my wife would ever use it.
I have no way of telling if it is capable of withstanding an angle grinder, I hope it never has to be put to the test.
