    Great for autistic teenage
Purchased for autistic teenager for when he goes on cinema trips. Have been told they are comfortable and easy to pack away as they fold. The quality is good and they aren’t heavy which helps. The fit is good as the ear defenders can be extended. Easy to use and look good when on.

    Mixed review.
So on the plus side my ASD daughter said they were good for muffling the noise out, comfortable to wear for a length of time and not too expensive.
The negative side is they are large and bulky.
We’ve tried a lot of different ear defenders and these are high on the list of good ones just the size of them is the only downside.

    Amazing product for blocking noise
WOW I have spent money on 2 other products which were not fit for purpose, if only I had found these earlier I would have saved around 40. Absolutely does what it says it does, blocks out noise. I have sensitive hearing due to a neurological condition and these are PERFECT I can now ride my mobility scooter or public transport knowing noise will be blocked out. Thanks Amazon for allowing this amazing provider the opportunity to sell via yourselves. One very HAPPY custome

These easily fit over my hearing aids.
These are very comfortable and most importantly the ear cups are large enough to fit over my hearing aids. They seem to block out a lot of noise. I’ve been using them with a nail gun and they have been excellent.

    Great Ear Protectio
I got these for use with a hired concrete breaker running at 108Db and these were just superb. No issues what so ever. Took out the noise level and fitted comfortably. No ringing in my ears, no earache from buds in your ears. Very impressed A****

    Peace at last!
I bought these to shut out some building work going on when working from home. Work a treat. If you need to shut out the distractions to read and / or concentrate these do the trick.

    Portable peace
Comfortable to wear and I don’t hear the vacuum cleaning that my neighbour is doing right now as I write this with my window wide open. If I have extra sensitive ears (autism) and can’t hear it, a normal person will be alright.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersBlock out sound but very tigh
I have chronic migraines and a neighbour who lets their dog bark all day everyday. These block out sound which is great but they’re very tight which hurts my head more. I think if your doing DIY and wear them for a short time they’d work fine but not so great for us migraine suffers.

    Perfec
So happy with the headset. For two weeks I have been suffering with migraines and no matter what I tell my family they still keep banging making so much noise so I brought these and now I can’t hear any of my family which makes me so happy I think even when the migraines have gone I will still use them just to get away from my family’s irritating sounds. Ps when I say family I’m talking about two grown men not the kids. 100% recommend also plan on not sharing when they have migraines they can buy there own from this seller.

    Some defence
I bought these to replace some I left on holiday as I sleep very lightly and need total silence at night unfortunately they don’t seem to filter out enough noise in comparison to my previous ones but they do help to a point and are great value for money. They do the job expected for the price point!

It does shut a lot of noise
I could not find anything softer to wear as I needed it for sleeping with as there was no other option but it does what it says and cuts a lot of noise out.

    Fireworks be gone!!!
ok i only got this item as someone said they would help with the loud bangs from the fireworks/bombs! I didn’t think it would but decided to try. All I can say is YES THEY WORK! I have high anxiety and get panic attacks at sudden loud noises.. my cats and I can’t stand the Diwali and New Year celebrations.. I am always a nervous wreck and my cats pick up on my emotions so they are even more terrified. but this Diwali it wasn’t that bad. yes i could still hear them but not as loud and I was a bit calmer so my cats didn’t panic as much.. But I was still worried sick about the 2 stray cats I feed and provide shelter for outside:( I wish they would ban fireworks sadly they cause more harm than being fun 🙁 but these do help a lot.. Thank you

Golden Review Award: 9 From Our UsersThe best I have tried
First bought the Blackrock for 6 quid. maximum bloking indeed. But if you have to wear it more than a couple of hours, it can become a bit uncomfortable. Then bought the peltor at 10 quid. Very comfortable indeed, very light weight to carry on your head, but a bit less blocking (27Db), . Then bought this one at 11 quid, and that’s the best of both things. Max blocking at 35 Db, and almost as comfortable as the peltor over a long time (thick soft cushion aroud the ear), but a bit more heavy on the head to wear than the peltor. So this is my personal best of the three. But again, don’t want to be unfair. If you don’t need max blocking and need to wear it for a long time the peltor is super, plus nice color and minimum cumbersome. On the other hand if you need a super blocking eardefender for lawning your garden grass for a couple of hours three times a year, the 6 quid Blackrock is enough and exactly what you need. Haven’t tried any other brands, so I don’t know about them.

Golden Review Award: 35 From Our UsersBetter value than 3M Peltor & more comfortable
I live on a very noisy & busy main road: constant sirens, buses, idiots at the bus stop… I also have incredibly selfish neighbours. So, ear defenders which are efficient at blocking out noise, whilst being comfortable, are a must for me.
Over several years I’ve tried many brands and types of ear defenders, but these are by far my favourite; I have purchased 3 of them – I like them that much! I’ve tried various ‘3M Peltor’ ear defenders, which are available in a wide range of various levels of noise blocking. But, almost every 3M Peltor model I tried was a disappointment – they are expensive, their build quality is mostly flimsy (for the price), and I found them all to be uncomfortable. What I really disliked about most of the 3M Peltor range is the lack of space inside the ear cup. They fill their earcups with foam, which can often be felt against the ear. Now, you may think: ‘well, surely… more foam means better noise blocking… so how’s that a bad thing?’
Actually, I prefer more room inside the earcups as I use them in conjuction with earphones – this way I can listen to music etc. This combination is the best I’ve found to block out yabbering morons in the flat below, and all the other noises I previously mentioned.
They are nicely made. Solid and not flimsy. The headband has a nice ‘rubberised’ covering which doesn’t catch my hair & it feels comfortable and fits my head perfectly.
In the photos with my review you can see the amount of space inside the earcups.
The cushioning on the earpads is really good for an ear defender at this price. I’m able to wear them for 45 mins to 1 hour without too much pressure pain; although after this they can start to cause head pain. Despite this, they are still the best I’ve tried, and I also get migraines so comfort is important!!
When I’ve tried many 3M Peltor ear defenders, I found their earpads lacking in cushioning & some even have a hard ridge running around the inside edge which digs into the head! Why?
Anyway, these ear defenders are excellent value for money. They offer comfort, durability & great noise blocking – especially when used with earphones. Very recommended.
