    Great!
Very good desk fan, dual speed, nicely made, very quiet, well worth the money, but the main description says no battery but in all the info below that it goes on about batteries which it doesn’t have?! Also, something interesting, when I turn the fan on in my kitchen the radio in the front room stops?? What’s that all about?

Great value for money - efficient cooling.
Have bought other USB fans – that tend to be small and noisy – these larger units are quieter and are far better for cooling. Have bought two of these 3 months apart and both are great.

    Great fa
A quality product with simple operation, rocker for off, low & high speeds and operates quietly, perfect for our needs.

Despite a problem the seller has very quickly resolved the issue, we have purchased from them previously and will now continue to use as they are great communicators and resolve issues fast.

    Highly recommend!

    Superb fa
Arrived super fast, charged overnight and has been on most of next day. It lasts longer if on the 2nd of the three settings, have used in stable for horse during hot weather and has been great. It is virtually silent so has been fab for what I needed it for. Very happy.

    Does the job
A bit larger than I thought but works perfectly for those hot nights in the van or if the dog has to stay in it for awhile without me…. I can feel assured he’s comfortable…. Its great for circulating hot air above the woodburner and for getting rid of cooking smells in the van.

    Very impressed
This fan is marvellous for the size I can’t believe how powerful it is. Took it on holiday plugged into ubs at side of bed, job done. I would just say you will probably need an extension if there isn’t a usb near to hand

    Great fa
Fantastic little fan. I bought it because my woodburner doesn’t have the space for a stove fan, but wanted to distribute the warm air better. It does a great job of this. The fan sits in front of the woodburner, and blows air under and around it, which then emerges as warm air, heating a larger room very quickly. I no longer have to put the central heating on as background heat. The fan is rechargeable, and when fully charged will last all day on the low setting. I am sure it will also come in if we have another summer like the last one, but to keep us cool instead!

Such a great fan, lightweight and great air flow
This fan is great. Its light weight, easy to charge, has a good strong fan speed that actually cools you down, has various setting for a slower or faster speed, easy to hang and basically does everything we need.
We have used it whilst camping to keep cool, in the back of the car for the children when we can’t open the window and the car fans don’t reach. Have even used them to circulate warm air around too when.
This was a great buy and definitely worth the money.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersGood but could be better also smaller then advertised.
States it’s a 9 inch fan in the title, it’s not. I understand with the societal pressures in this day and age you may be tempted to add an extra inch, but as someone on the receiving end, I’d rather you be honest.

Buttons feel a bit cheap and nasty designs nice, not practical to clean with screws that from experience get looser and looser over time as you clean it leaving you in the end with a rattle machine but all of that said, it blows me pretty good.

Was noisy after few months, but they sent a replaceme
I bought this because it was advertised as super quiet, yes on 1st or 2nd speed (out of 4) it was okay for a while, so I used it mostly on 1st speed from about 1m away from my leg on the floor, just to give a bit breeze, for few months was quiet on first 2 level (3 and 4 was pretty noisy but because it blew a lot of air its expected), I bought it in July… around August/September it started give lots of noise.. its still okay on level1, but from 2 its very noisy, sometimes you can stop the noise by having it on a vertical angle, or by ‘shaking it’ a little, but on level 3 and 4 its always noisy now, so I don’t use that, even with my closed over ear headphone I can hear it on 3 or 4 from 1meters

so if you buy it for its “silent” property, perpare yourself it will be pretty silent for 2-3 months then it starts become more noisy and loud

[edit] the company sent me an other one after my 3* review, the new one does not have the issue for now, but we’ll see in long term, I’ll test it in summer. Right now it’s like the other one when it was new. No vibration noise anymore in higher speeds I also updated my rating to 4 because of this replacement. But if anyone wants buy a quiet fan, I recommend to buy a bigger one instead, because the noise level increases a lot with gear 2-3-4.

    Amazing!
Bought in 2021.Very solid and powerful – I was very sceptical about how fast the air flow would be (12v is usually low power) but I have to say this fan is quite amazing. So good I bought another 2. Great for my elderly dog who suffers in the heat. The high setting is as powerful as a plug in fan. I’ve only had them 3 weeks so can’t tell if the motor will last but at the moment I’m pleasantly surprised!

Edit September 23. All 3 fans still going strong! Brilliant product!

Great build quality. Not quite silent. Ideal desk fan.
This is a fantastic fan, for personal use (on a desk, or bedside). It angles up and down and runs on the USB cable, as well as its battery. I’m in any way disappointed with the build quality and, I guess, that’s what you’re paying for. It’s a sturdy little thing. It is nice and really quiet, although not at all silent. It’s fantastic.

    This is an absolute godsent.
I absolutely cannot stand excessive heat, so with the prospect of another UK heatwave, I ordered this fan, based on the glowing reviews.
I was a bit sceptical about the fan being completely quiet, but it has proved to be just that – quiet as a mouse.
Not just that, for such a compact device it is surprisingly powerful, and once completely charged, it also has an impressive running time. I had it on for 12 hrs yesterday, and the battery was still going strong.
The rechargeable battery also means you can take this little wonder fan all around the house with you.

In short, this fan is for now, and at least till the end of the current heatwave, My Official New Best Friend.

The best thing I’ve bought this summer!
Currently camping in the middle of France on some of the hottest days of the year and this little fan is an absolute god send!! I’m so glad I had the forethought to get something like this and looking at previous reviews this seemed like a good choice! It has four speeds and I’m just about surviving between speeds 2 and 3 (trying to save speed 4 for when the heat is unbearable!) It’s small but mighty, quiet and sturdy! It runs without additional power for several hours depending on what fan speed you have it on and fully charges quite quickly. I would recommend though, if you’re planning on having it running for long periods of time like I have, and you’re not directly near a power source for charging then invest in a couple of fairly hefty battery packs that you can connect to and keep swapping in and out. Comes with USB cable but not a charging plug. iPhone charger plug works just fine though. I really am so pleased with this fan!!

Very quiet and powerful little fan.
I’ve had one of these for over a year now and it’s still going strong. I originally bought this fan for a festival to keep the tent cool where it was an absolute lifesaver due to uncommonly hot weather. Since then it’s been regularly used at work on hot days and even for other small jobs like blowing the smoke away when soldering (as it’s battery powered it’s super easy to put in all sorts of positions to get the job done).
I decided to write this review now as i’ll be buying another one for work as the existing one is now being carried around to keep our baby cool when we’re out and about.
It’s basically silent on speeds 1 and 2 which is generally powerful enough for my purposes, you can start to hear the blades at the higher speeds but it’s still quieter than most fans. The battery life is good enough to run all night but it can also be used at the same time as charging which is handy if you do forget to charge it.

    I was impressed
I wanted a desk fan due to working from home, I was looking for something to give a nice breeze whilst being quiet. Also, USB powered so my PC could power it. For me, this seemed like a perfect fit. I actually ‘hang’ the fan by it’s foot from a shelf above my desk and I get wafted nicely from above. I thought I’d have to share desk space with it. So the beauty of this design is flexibility of it’s use. There are smaller fans, but they tend to be noisier with less air. It’s a two speed fan, low speed is quiet but high speed is a bit louder than I’d anticipated (still quiet). However, I would recommend this fan to those who want a desk fan, other reviews seemed positive and my review is too. I think you could do worse with other fans, it seems like good quality and a reasonable price.

    Bit expensive, but very good!
I love this fan! I have a very small bedroom so I didn’t want a full 12 inch desk fan taking up loads of space on my table, but also didn’t want the small flimsy ones which don’t cool you down very well. This is exactly what I was looking for.

PERFORMANCE: It’s a really simple product, but it works well and is more powerful than I thought it would be. It can be tilted up or down, and has two speed settings on a light switch-type control on the back. The first setting is a nice for a gentle breeze, the faster one is actually much more powerful than I expected from quite a small product. Noise-wise, it emits a low hum (unavoidable for a fan — moving blades are never going to be ‘whisper quiet’), but isn’t very noisy at all, actually quite relaxing for those who like unobtrusive white noise.

LOOKS: It also looks great! It’s matte black coated metal and looks as ‘clean’ and ‘elegant’ as a fan can look; I don’t mind keeping it out when it’s not being used. As mentioned, it’s a great size for when you want something smaller than a regular desk fan (which waste so much space on the stem), but don’t want the novelty small fans that are only useful when you have them a foot from your face. Would be ideal for an office desk, kitchen counter, or a bedside table.

PACKAGING & EXTRAS: The product arrived fully assembled which was a nice surprise with not too much excess packaging, and no plastic. The charging cable that comes included with the product also feels high quality and is around 1.2 metres long. It does NOT come with a USB socket adaptor. Be aware that this product does not have a battery — it has to be plugged into a USB port to turn on.

Golden Review Award: 19 From Our UsersGreat fan except for the fragile micro USB po
[edit] Had to bin what was an otherwise perfectly good fan in the end, because the micro USB socket completely disintegrated. Shame really, excellent fan otherwise, battery life was still great, no damage to the fan itself. I’d still recommend it – if they switched to USB C it would be perfect.[edit]

[edit] After a year… the usual problem with micro USB rears its ugly head (the same thing happened to my keyboard, but only after 5 years) – the socket is loose and I have to wiggle the wire in the socket to get the charging light to come on. I’ll see if they’ll have it back or I’ll see if a friend can resolder it and put some hot glue in it (which is what I got him to do with my new keyboard, before it becomes an issue again). I’ll let you know…
Meanwhile, 3 other people at work have bought the same fan after trying mine out.[edit]

[edit] I’ve used this fan a fair bit in the last couple of weeks, my colleagues have been impressed with it and asked where I got it from. Yesterday I was in an area without a USB port for most of a working day, running off the battery on the lowest speed setting without problems. I topped it up for half an hour at lunch time, but I probably didn’t need to. I might have to go beyond the slowest speed if the weather gets really hot. [edit]

There weren’t any reviews for this, which is always a worry – but someone has to go first I suppose! So I took a (calculated, after reading reviews of other fans and doing some research) risk and bought one.

Ordered around 9pm the day before yesterday, arrived at my (very local) post office yesterday while I was at work, took to work and used for the first time today.

It’s very quiet on all settings (although my workplace has a fair bit of ambient hubbub). Very solidly built. Good grip from the little feet, so it doesn’t vibrate itself around your desk. Doesn’t vibrate at all, in fact. You can change the angle easily as it has a nice tight pivot. It’s a very good size, if a little big if your desk has limited space (roughly twice as wide and high as those cheap 4″ 5 fans I suppose). You can feel the airflow even on the low setting from the back of the desk. I have it as close to my face as I can (just to the left of my keyboard, angled up and to the right). Obviously you need some space behind it as it needs to draw the air from somewhere, so jamming it directly between your desktop PC and your keyboard will restrict it’s efficiency substantially. I would suppose putting a fan on a wall would restrict it too, unless it’s air intake was designed with that in mind. This has a stand though, it’s not designed for the wall as far as I can tell. It looks like the bigger (smarter) brother of the cheap 4″ fans.

It has a much higher airflow than those 4″ 5 5v USB fans (it is 4x the cost though, but it’s doubtless more effective than plugging 4x 5v fans in to the 4 front mounted USB sockets in the PC, if you even have that many). In fact I was considering buying a battery-less 5 4″ USB fan, or 10 7″ USB fan, but from what I can gather, USB’s 5v just isn’t enough to power a fan that can actually keep you cool in a warm environment (like my workplace). So the battery pack does the real work (so I suppose, the bigger the battery the better) and in theory the USB is just there to trickle charge the battery. What this will mean if and when the battery runs low I’m not entirely sure, as I don’t want to take the fan home to charge it every few days and if I have to start using it from the moment I get to work, I don’t know when the battery’s discharge will overtake the trickle charge. Since I didn’t need the fan until 1330 today and I left (taking it with me) at 1600, I didn’t really give it enough time to test the longevity of the battery. All I can say is that I ran it on minimum, with a few bursts of maximum to show my colleagues (I think it has 3 or 4 speed settings). As far as I know we’re not allowed to plug things from home into the mains at work, which is why everyone’s got a USB fan. I’m sure the top speed will be enough when the weather gets really hot. I wish I’d bought one of these last year.

It also looks a lot nicer than those pink / blue / white fans with the chunky plastic base that look a bit “toy shop”. The 9″ of this fan vs the 7.5″ of the cheaper fan seems to make a worthwhile difference too.

It was 20 posted, plus 99p for a week’s trial of Amazon Prime to get it delivered the next day. The cheaper ones with the less powerful battery and smaller fan are 13 (pink) 14 (blue) 17 (white) – plus p&p I presume. So, when you’re already in that price range I think it’s worth spending a little bit extra (especially as I paid for mine with the 30 voucher I got from signing up for an Amazon credit card, which I won’t be using).

I would definitely recommend this fan – Amazon’s after-sales service means I can send it back if it turns out that my review was prematurely positive.

    Go for it 🙂

P.S. I would be happy to take my commission in free fans if you sell a lot more now that you actually have a review, there are a bunch of people at work who would appreciate one as the weather gets even warmer and the big windowless tin shed we work in gets even hotter.

P.P.S. Sorry for the long review, but sometimes it’s better to ramble and give more info than cut it short and leave something out. I can’t really do dimensions / weight because it’s (hopefully) going to remain in my locker at work when I’m not using it.
