    Good budget headse
These have been used to play games on both a PC and a Nintendo switch and both times they’ve worked well.

Sound quality is pretty good. Decent highs for the treble and the bass is Ok too. Especially for something that doesn’t cost a lot of money.

Because they have a wired connection, there are no latency issues whatsoever. You hear the sounds in real time. The lights are pretty cool, but only work when connected via a USB. This doesn’t affect the actual functionality though.

The microphone is easy enough to understand for the listener. Happy to recommend.

    Decent for the price
For entry level gaming these are prefect adequate for the job. The mic isn’t perfect but its fine for kids to use until they’re responsible enough to get a more expensive pair.

Build quality is on par with the price, nothing special but fine.

    I would recommend

    Basic gaming headphones
This gaming headset has a rather chunky feel to it but works very well with my PS4.

The cable is split at the end, with USB and 3.5mm connections. The PS4 controller only has a standard 3.5mm headphone jack so this leaves the USB connector just unelegantly dangling there. The LED lighting won’t light up without a USB connection – not a problem of course if you are playing on something (e.g. laptop) with a USB port, the lighting works fine that way. It can be turned off if needed.

The cable has a mute toggle and volume controls that are easy to reach and these work fine. I always appreciate a toggle rather than having to hold a button down.

Sound quality is fair. The headphones are adjustable but still end up quite a snug fit so it does mean that outside noise is effectively shut out. Equally, the mic works well and can be flipped up when not required. I find that mics can sometimes get in my field of vision, so this is another design feature I appreciate.

There’s no premium feel outside of the braided cable but this headset has all the basic features I need and performs as I’d expect at this price point.

    Works OK
This headset is fine if you are after a cable connected headset. The sound is OK probably not the best you’ve ever heard but fine for most gaming scenarios. People can hear me just fine with the mic on the headset and say I sound OK. There’s an in-line volume control which is handy. They feel comfortable to wear for short gaming sessions but not sure how well they will last as they are a bit cheap plastic feeling.
Overall they look good and get the job done, I can recommend these if found at a good price.

    good headse
I appreciate the flexibility it offers, allowing me to flawlessly switch between different gaming setups without any problem. The 50mm audio drivers deliver impressive sound quality, providing immersive gaming experiences with clear and crisp audio. The adjustable microphone is a great feature, allowing me to communicate clearly with my teammates during multiplayer games. The soft earpads ensure comfort during long gaming sessions, reducing fatigue and discomfort. However, I wish the headset had a bit more padding on the headband for added comfort, especially during extended use.

    Great budget headse
After the mic of my old headset broke, I needed a replacement quickly and grabbed this one as it seemed to be pretty good value. I wasn’t disappointed, its performance is actually quite good for a budget headset. It’s a basic wired headset and doesn’t have all the buttons and extra bells and whistles that some premium brands offer (e.g. voice changer options and high-quality deep surround sound settings), but it works. The headband is adjustable so that the ear cushions sit properly on my ears, and the mic is right next to my mouth so it picks up everything I say.

    Great kids gaming headse
This headset is good enough for occasional use as a general headset, but would not stand up to scrutiny by a serious audiophile, but at the 22 price tag, you wouldn’t expect them to. The wires could be longer, as they are just about 3ft, and you need to plug the USB cable in to get the green lights on, though you don’t have to have them working.
The earphones themselves are very comfortable, and block out extraneous noise, and the voice transmission is good. The sound through the headphones is what lets them down slightly, as it is not the loudest ( even though it has volume control), and it can sound a bit tinny and flat.
    Good for the price.

    Great budget headse
We needed a headset just to play occasional Call of Duty matches with my brother in law, but didn’t want to invest in expensive Turtle Beaches (or whatever is good these days).

They are very comfortable to wear, as they do not fold, there’s no risk of hair catching on the hinges. It is padded and lightweight.

Sound quality is great and not tinny, but not overly amazing – sufficient enough for gaming in my opinion.

Mic quality is decent and my brother in law didn’t notice anything low quality about it through his PS5 headset.

Cable length is good and works just fine when plugged into my Xbox controller, however if you want to have the LEDs on (which offer no benefits in terms of gaming), then you’ll likely need a longer USB extension cable – I personally do not bother with the LED’s. PC gamers shouldn’t have too much trouble unless they sit far from their desktop.

Can’t really go wrong with the price.

Really cool appearance. The audio is really effective.
I’ve used this with my Nintendo which and my iPad using an aux adapter. The audio on the cable is on my for the headphones, so I suggest having your device volume at around 75% and then control the audio with the controller.

The headset is very comfortable. The ear cups fit really sung and are very comfortable for prolonged periods of gaming. I was able to use the microphone with my witch for group chat, as well as for teams meetings in my iPad Pro.

The lights are super cool and I love the green. There’s appear to be powered by the usb. For this reason I did not have them on the switch as there was no usb. This did not result in any lower quality of the audio, so I was not able to hear any improvement for reduction in audio performance because of the usb.

Over all I have been very impressed with the audio quality. There is certainly a decent level of bass in the headphones. I would almost want slightly more treble.

For the price these are really good value for money, with plenary of use to be had.

Nice affordable gaming headset with Microphone for PS4

The headphones are easy to use and comfortable to wear with well-made earmuffs

The sound quality is not bad considering the price and it comes with nice LED lights.

Overall, it is good value for money and is working as expected so far!

good for kids and teenagers, cheap and cheerful
These are cheap and cheerful. they pair easily with a switch and I found that the fit was more geared towards smaller head’s. if you have piercings of any kind these will not be very comfortable to wear. the ear pads are small.

they sound is fine, it come’s thru nice and clearly and the headset volume control works just fine. the length on the cord is quite long I will say so their’s quite a bit of reach on these.

I would say these are good for kids and younger teen’s, especially if you dont want to spend a fortune and just need something they can use while your in the same room yet dont want to hearing their game at full volume.

You get what you pay for..
The simple summary for these would be ‘cheap and cheerful’, and they’ll be fine as a budget option, perhaps for a younger gamer who’s not yet ready to look after a more ‘premium’ headset.

They actually *look* pretty good, and I’m sure the kids will like them. The one’s i’ve reviewed are finished with ‘xbox green’ trim which looks pretty cool.

Reasonably comfortable for a short session, though I did find the band a little tight for extended wear. The ear pads seal quite tightly and give a lot of isolation from outside noise, but the cheap vinyl they’re covered with got a bit uncomfortable and quite sweaty very quickly which wasn’t great.

Sadly, the real downside for me where it’s definitely a case that you get what you pay for is the audio quality. It’s really not great. I tried it with a couple of different sources including music, video and chat. To be fair, for chat on a video call they’d be ‘ok’, but the sound for busier audio from video and music was rather indistinct and personally I’d rather spend a little more for a better sound.

That being said, we do have to consider the price point. They’re very affordable, and for the younger gamer os someone on a budget, they’ll do the job admirably.

    Very Comfortable Headse
A very comfortable and solidly built headset for Gaming.
Super soft ear pads and a very decent sound quality considering that these are designed for gaming.
The headset has a 2m strong braided cable, which is a good standard length, with 3.5mm jack plug.
The headset has an ‘Inline’ volume and mute control for the microphone, the mic is the swivel type and gives a clear and crisp output.
All in all, this is a very good headset for gaming and in the right price range. It looks fantastic and is nicely weighted and presented.

Basic gaming headset, works fine, children will be impressed by its look.
This gaming headset is quite a sight when fully lit up on your head, you probably won’t want to use it for Zoom meetings with the boss but children I think will find the design pretty exciting. That being said, you don’t have to plug in the USB connector for the LED lights, they don’t have any function apart from to remain steadily lit and make you look like a Cyberman extra from a 1980s Dr Who episode.

There is a useful on/off switch for the microphone and an inline volume control for the headphones. The cable is quite a good length (almost 2m) and an audio splitter is supplied for when you have to use dual 3-pole headphone and microphone inputs rather than a single combined 4-pole one (which is the modern design on nearly all laptops for example). The microphone works well, I was even able to complete the Windows 11 Speech tutorial fully with barely an error, so I assume it would also be great for in-game speech (which I haven’t been able to test here)

Would make a nice present, for children especially.

    Comfortable and work
This gaming headset is very comfortable – the padding for ears and headband is good and it doesnt feel like they are squeezing your head or squashing your ears even if wearing for a few hours.

The sound quality is good – its not the same quality for listening to music but its perfectly fine for gaming or for making work calls. The mic works well and is easy to move out of the way by flipping it up when not using it.

The corded connection is stable and durable – the inline volume and mic control is handy and means you dont have to mess with audio mixer on your laptop to use it.

The LED lights I can take or leave – they look cool but do require to be connected via usb either to your computer of a plug to run – I tend to not bother.

Value: for under 20 these are robust, comfortable and work very well – I have some top end gaming headphones that cost over 100 and although they are marginally better sound quality the reality is with gaming these work just as well.

    Would recommend

Very decent quality headphones with good sound and noise cancellatio
I wanted some new headphones for gaming and these are better than expected. They are well built and hug the head well. The padding on the earphones is thick and comfortable. The sound is fine and has quite a lot of bass to it so not bad at all for listening to music aswell. On music it is very slightly muffled but unless you have a good ear for sound, you won’t notice that. (I only notice it because I am used to headphones made for music production which are considerably more expensive and not for gaming so I can detect the difference in clarity.) There is a mic on/off switch on the cable and the cable itself is covered in fabric which is quite expensive looking as most are just regular cables so that’s impressive. The cable is also colour co-ordinated with the headphones. I have the green ones. The most exciting feature is that they light up, so very attractive for teens or gamers in general, however the lights are powered via USB which needs to be plugged in at the same time as the audio cable and the distance between the audio jack and the USB is very short so that’s inconvenient if your USB port isn’t by your USB port. You don’t have to use them lit up though, but it’s a fun feature and does look very cool. Good product and decent value at the current price of 22.99. Definitely a great gift idea for gamers. Recommended.

The Most Comfortable Headphones I've Ever Used
These might not be the best-sounding headphones I’ve ever used, but they’re the most comfortable. Sometimes I wear headphones for several hours a day, not so much for gaming, but for listening to music while I work, or for watching YouTube videos. I watch more YouTube these days than regular TV!

So comfort is a big thing for me. I have worn these headphones for several hours in a row with no discomfort. I would rather use these headphones than sets I’ve had in the past that sounded a bit better and cost several times as much.

The audio is not bad – it has some decent base, but I find it a little muffled and tinny.

I love the green LEDs – you have to plug in the USB connector for these to light up. I like that the mic can be rotated out of the way when not in use. The mic is a bit quiet on Windows 11, but I find that’s the same with most gaming headsets.

I like the fairly thick, braided cable – it doesn’t get tangled up. I love the fairly large inline volume controller (which also has a switch to mute the mic) – my old headphones didn’t have a volume controller, and I find adjusting volume on my PC a bit of a pain.

The earpieces cover my ears well.

For the price, I think these are fantastic headphones considering how comfortable they are. I highly recommend them unless you are looking for the best audio quality.
