Basic but does the job
Updating my review. I had difficulties with my laptop.
Bought this so I can look at camera while viewing a larger screen than my laptop.
Wish I could zoom in or out. But it does the job.
This is a nice camera with a good picture and a good microphone. The only thing I dislike about it is, mounting the camera on a desktop screen doesn't work. It continuously falls off. The clamp isn't strong enough to hold onto the top of the screen/frame. I have to perch it on a shelf at an angle or sit it directly in front of me when doing a video call. Other than that, It will do the job it was intended to do.

No extra wide view!
This is the third external webcam I have purchased in the last few years for remote work meetings. I have a portable computer with a built in camera as well as a desktop/monitor combo. For the most part, my portable’ camera works well but I prefer to work on my desktop for the larger monitor and there’s no great way to use both simultaneously.
This one is the best one I have found so far and it’s been a great solution because the view is not extra wide and doesn’t give off a fish eye feel. I was pleased to see there is an app I could download too, to make minor adjustments in lighting and such when needed without having to buy a third party app to do so. K am using it with macOS.
Incredible quality!
This is the best external camera for a laptop ever! :- )
For some reason, the camera on my new laptop has only worked once despite multiple efforts to get it going again. I got tired of messing with it and of not being able to be seen on video meetings so, after some research, I bought this little beauty. I have gotten numerous compliments on its quality. It really is extraordinary.
Very please with product. It is as described and works very well. Product is light weight, easy to set up/install and is a very nice size. I would purchase product again and would recommend to others.

Good value as a camera!! Mid to bad mic.
Disclaimer: I received the product (EMEET C950 4K Webcam for PC – 8 Megapixels 4K UHD, PDAF Autofocus, Noise-Canceling Mic, 70 FOV, 1080P@60FPS, Privacy Cover, USB 2.0 Plug and Play, Ideal PC Camera 4K for Zoom/Teams/Skype/Google Meet (70FOV w/ 4K PDAF Autofocus)) from Amazon’s Vine Voices program in exchange for an honest review.
Summary: I think this webcam is a great value for the price! My other webcam is more than 200 USD, and the image isn’t any better (many video call softwares put a maximum on the image quality they can transmit, so even if you get a 4k 60fps camera, chances are that no one sees that high definition recording anyway). This camera’s mic is pretty bad, though, so I would strongly recommend getting a separate mic for any important calls.
Pricing Opinion: At time of receipt, it was priced at 40 USD, which seems like a great price to me!
Pro:
+Beautiful image quality
+Very affordable for a 4k camera!
Con:
-The mic produces really garbled audio, so I strongly recommend using a separate mic. That adds 40-400 USD to the effective price, but if you’re not too bothered, you can get by with this mic (if you hate the ppl you’re meeting with).
-The auto focus seems to occasionally think my background is more interesting than my face. Alas.
-Minor quibble: the user has to install the privacy screen themselves. It makes sense to give us the option to have a camera unmarred by a privacy screen, but maybe you can just design the whole thing to make a privacy screen look intrinsic and beautifully cohesive with the whole? Also I have shaky hands, and it was difficult for my incompetent fingers to lay the thing correctly.
Unknown:
?The USB 2.0 surprises me because it puts a 60 MB/s cap on the data transfer rate, but maybe that’s enough for 4k video?
The software took a decent amount of set up so be prepared to mess with the settings. The camera fit the pc set up well enough. The clarity and quality is good. It's not great quality, but good. Overall it's a pretty decent camera. Planning on using it for group dnd games.

Great image quality, alright sound.
The image quality on this webcam is amazing. The price is also hard to beat for what you get. It easily outperforms my old Logitech 720p webcam and the installation was a breeze on Windows. Simply plug it in and its ready to go.
The mic does pick up my wife in the room outside unless I close the door, so that’s my only complaint. Using a better standalone mic makes this a non-issue. A great buy!
Out the box this webcam was very easy to set up as it supports plug and play. The moment I hook it up to my Windows 11 desktop it was able to function without hassle. When the camera is in use there is a small faint blue light at the top of the device. The camera also comes with a privacy filter that can be manually installed if preferred. The camera quality is indeed very clear, the only thing it might be lacking is some contrast but other than that it picks up almost every detail. The mic quality is also very acceptable as it captures my voice from an arms length away and all words were audible given that the room has an absence of background noise. The biggest downside to the camera is value. At $40 the features does not hold up to the device and that can be seen with the manual privacy filter. For that price the filter should be built in such that it's easier to flip on and off instead of users needing nails to slide the thin filter open and close. The blue light on the top of the camera is way too faint such that one would not realize that the camera is on had they not look at it directly. For these features I can only comfortably recommend this camera had it been around the $30 price range or lower. None the less, this camera still manages to capture crystal clear video and that should be the highlight of the device admit its small caveats and inconveniences.

Clear picture, but not accurate colo
This is a nice small form factor webcam. I got it to travel with as the built in webcam on my laptop is not functioning well and my main webcam in my studio is too big to easily carry around as I travel.
The picture is sharp and clear, but I feel that the color is not accurate. If you use the automatic functions, it seems to have quite a warm hue to the image. I was able to defeat the auto setting and use the nVidia Broadcast Camera utility to get a better looking picture.
It does only have a 70 degree FOV, but I find that a positive as I do not like webcams that show too much of the background because they have a wide FOV.
The camera does come with a stick-on privacy cover.
This camera is a relatively good upgrade from the Logitech C920 I had for years. Like the C920, I struggle with lighting and framerate issues. Given the resolution bump, the image quality is better, and it works well enough, but there are better options for facial tracking, which is one of my use cases.

This webcam is sturdy and well-built. The video quality is good and it comes with an attachable privacy shade and a mini tripod. The camera angle is adjustable, it pivots easily on its base. The tripod height is adjustable. Just pull or push the vertical post. The webcam can also pivot vertically, making it easy to place the camera where you need it. The webcam is a no-brainer to install. Plug it in a USB port and it just works. I am using it with Zoom and it works well. Windows 11 Pro computer.

Good camera, sufficient image quality
This was my first ever webcam. The manual that comes with the camera has 3 pages of instructions per language. Plugging the camera in, I got no image in the “camera” app on my PC. I went to Emeet’s website and they said if there are problems to uninstall the device, unplug, and re-plug. Doing that it seemed to work fine going forward.
Image quality seems good. The camera seems to struggle just a bit with focus if one moves forward or backward in the camera’s field of view – it takes a second or two to get things back in focus.
The monitor attachment works great, as does the included telescoping tripod. It’s nice to have different mounting options for different applications. The tripod mount screws into the bottom of the monitor mount, so one does not have to remove the monitor mount to utilize the tripod mount.
Overall I’m quite happy with this webcam. I plan to utilize it for Zoom/Skype meetings instead of being tied to my cell phone. For that purpose, I think the camera will fit the bill nicely.
Fussy auto focus, but true 4k
The 4k camera I received was easy to install on windows 10, and came up right away as fefault 1080p. The listing stated it would do that. I went into settings, chose 4k and it came up as such. Frame rate isn’t smooth however. It struggled to deliver more than 15fps. It was definately not showing 24fps or above. 1080p was smooth however.
I have other 4k webcams that deliver 4k smoothly at 30fps connected to my usb3 hub, so it wasn’t necessarily my equipment.
Focus is an issue. It struggles to keep the closest subject in focus, favoring the background. I have to use my hand to get the camera refocused.
Color and grain levels on medium lighting is decent. There is a little grain and some compression anomolies but for the asking price I can’t complain about that too much.
The supplied mini tripod is decent and sturdy enough. It’s a good companion for the webcam imho.
I’m only removing one star for the caveats. I’m being critical of a budget camera. We get what we pay for. If you are expecting a high-quality 4k camera image with superior auto focus and smooth framerate, you will need to spend more.
Brilliant 4K camera for the money
Some folk at work complained my video calls were poor quality using the built in camera in my Dell laptop, so I bought this. The picture quality is great and the sound is also much clearer. Several people commented on it. Price was great for this
Works fine but limited adjustability
Wide view angle that doesn’t seem to be able to be reduced, and very few settings to enable picture adjustment. But that aside, works well, and has so far been reliable.
Very good webcam
Purchased this webcam to replace my laptop camera whist working at home. Does the job very well, picture quality is excellent. I didn’t expect the microphone to work at all and thought I’d be on headphones but it actually works very well.
Good product at a reasonable price.
I bought this as you need YUY2 output to work with xb with Xbox and this states it has YUY2 output but unfortunately it doesn’t work BUT it work perfectly on the laptop and pc good quality image and sound is great too perfect webcam that will not break the bank
One of my peers started using this camera for our team meetings, and for months I assumed he was using a DSLR for his webcam, because his image quality was *that* much better than anything I had ever seen. One day my curiosity got the best of me and I asked him, and I was floored when he told me it was this sub-$20 webcam.
Under natural light this camera far exceeds even the best Logitech webcam I have. It is truly amazing how this low-priced, unassuming device can deliver such amazing performance, but it does.
There is one flaw with this webcam which I will cover that later. But first, let me tell you all the good things about it…
The camera’s native resolution is 1920×1080 pixels (1080p) and a 16:9 aspect ratio. Video conferencing apps can and sometimes do crop video to a 4:3 aspect ratio but this camera’s native resolution is full 1080p.
Unless you’re Bigfoot, the sweet spot for this camera is about 20″ away. At this distance your head and torso will fill the screen fully. Any closer and you’ll crop your head or torso, and if you’re more than 36″ away you will look like a miniature person. The camera has a fixed focal length: there is no optical zoom. Apps may allow you to “zoom,” but they accomplish this by cropping the 1080p image, so your image will get fuzzier the more you “zoom” in (unfortunately, the “infinite zoom” technology showcased in movies like “Blade Runner” and on TV shows like “CSI” has yet to be perfected).
Sharpness and color balance are good, while color intensity is low. Motion blur is minimal at 30fps, which is fine for videoconferencing unless you’re one of those who flails your arms when you talk, and even then you should be fine over a good network connection. But seriously, let your words speak for themselves and reconsider your need to flail. 🙂
This is a USB device and setup is easy: plug it in and let Windows or Mac OS detect it, then choose it for your camera when you join a video call.
This camera has one MAJOR shortcoming. Its image sensor is VERY sensitive to pulsating light from LED light bulbs or virtually *any* LED light source. This will manifest as wavy horizontal lines that slowly move up the image. If you use LED light bulbs in your home it’s very likely you will experience this. Here’s why…
LED bulbs are powered by pulsating electricity. Circuitry inside the bulb’s base converts alternating current (AC) from the electrical outlet to direct current (DC), then pulses this direct current on and off rapidly at a rate and duty cycle necessary to produce the desired level of brightness for the bulb (this form of power delivery is called Pulse Width Modulation (PWM), if you want to learn more about it).
Light from LEDs pulses in sync with the current that powers them. This happens so quickly that our eyes don’t detect it but the sensor on this camera does, as it’s sampling each of the 1080 lines that make up one frame of an image–some lines will be sampled while the LEDs are pulsed on and will be bright, while other lines will be sampled while the LEDs are off and will be dark. As the camera samples 1080 lines 30 times over one second, you get a mishmash of light and dark lines that our eyes see as wavy horizontal lines that appear to crawl slowly up the screen.
ALL LEDs use PWM to power them because they would burn up if we applied a steady direct current at the level necessary to provide the desired intensity of light.
My strong recommendation is to purchase a LED light source made for webcams, such as a ring lamp or LED array. These are engineered with a shorter pulse width or a randomly changing pulse width that eliminates the wavy lines. I purchased a rather inexpensive LED light that sets atop my monitor and illuminates my face and torso nicely, without the wavy lines. I can even fine tune the color temperature on the light to give my face a little more color on camera.
Despite its sensitivity to LED lighting, I highly, highly recommend this webcam because of its amazing image quality and low price.
