This keyboard has some fun lighting effects, and the use of the rotational knob makes it easy to change between them.
I have found a couple of drawbacks on the keyboard though.
There have been a couple of times that the S key doesn’t appear to strike properly. I have needed to push it twice to get a response. The keyboard originally came set to a non-English text on the LCD screen, I found it a little awkward changing the language (the combinations of push and which button were not quite fully documented).
There have been a couple of instances where it has forgotten that it is paired by bluetooth. This one I am not 100% sure on, as one member of the household tens to press random buttons, so it is possible they changed the setting. However, I have had to press the function and Q button on a couple of occasions now to reset the keyboard to bluetooth.
Unlike another very similar keyboard, the rotational nob doesn’t default to volume, you need to enter the settings first.
The final problem is that it is an American layout rather than en_GB.
I’m thoroughly enjoying the typing experience on this keyboard. The combination of the gasket-mount design and Ajazz Flying Fish switches provides a smooth, slightly bouncy feel that’s satisfying and less harsh than some clicky switches. The build quality feels solid, and the included sound-dampening foam does a good job. The customizable TFT screen is a fun touch for displaying images or GIFS. My only minor gripe is that the software for advanced settings could be more intuitive. For its unique features and typing experience, this keyboard is a good choice.
Overall very nice keyboard i slighty modded it with switches and ect, i did order the white and purple one but got the black one with the yellow and grey keycaps, doesn’t really matter though because keycaps will be changed!
But ye switches was nice and lubed what made typing feel smooth and that came stocked with the board so dont worry if you dont know how to do it
No bad reviews on the keyboard, but make sure they deliver the right order just didn’t expect this keyboard, but not to worry anyway because its getting changed up anyways!
Thank youuuuu
I normally prefer the flat keyboards as I have a Mac at home and use the laptop keyboard with a separate monitor for work. However, I am now converted to using this keyboard for work and have set the laptop to one side, so now it’s just used as a second monitor.
I found the keys on this to be comfortable to use. I didn’t expect this because I am so used to the flat keyboards. I also usually prefer a wired keyboard because I hate it when they unexpectedly need charging. But with this one, there is a battery indicator on the display, so it will not run out unexpectedly. Therefore I dont need to use the wired option.
I quite like the lights and again I didnt think I would, but I find them relaxing. Though the keys are see through so you cant use this in the dark unless you can touch type and don’t need to see the letters.
It would have been perfect if it had a number pad on it too as that is one thing I miss since ive been using the laptop keyboard.
This is how keyboards used to be in the earlier days in terms of the keys but ofcourse this is more advanced and appealing.
You can connect it to the PC or Mac using 3 modes:
1. USB-C wired
2. Bluetooth
3. Wifi
I tried wired firstly and then used Bluetooth. Both were great but obviously I prefer bluetooth as no messy wires.
The keyboard can be set to 2 different heights using the provided flips on the backside.
It’s solid and sturdy and feels like a quality item. 100% on that.
Upon turning on the radiant colourful lights make it standout amd looks lovely.
The keys are excellent and I particularly like the little display that shows date and various other information that is configurable as well.
The sound know at the top is of great use as you can control the volume and mute by using that know.
The instructions are clear and to the point.
I love everything about this keyboard. One point to note is that this is not portable, it’s quite heavy for that purpose but if its kept in one place then its perfect.
I recommend it for anyone who likes to have a quality keyboard.
I found the build quality to be exceptional. It has very solidity, while the keycaps offer a satisfying tactile experience. As well as having impressive versatility. The tri-mode connectivity (Bluetooth 5.1, 2.4G wireless, and USB-C wired) allows for seamless device switching.
I love a good mechanical keyboard and this fits the bill. However, for the price tag you’d want more, and this is where 20 sets of RGB and versatile connectivity fits in. There are no issues with delays, whether it’s USB, Bluetooth or WiFi connected, and the clacking of the keys is satisfying and responsive. There’s a nice giant volume control dial and the RGB is nice a soft.
I love this keyboard. It’s my first AJAZZ and it’s amazing. I’m still exploring it. I love how I can connect it 3 different ways to suit my location situation… 2.4g mode, Bluetooth, and usb wired ( lead supplied)
The keys are nice and cluncky and spaced perfectly for my finger spread. I like the funky colour lights effect, my favourite is everything else it does though. I can change the keys around ( tool supplied) and I like the plastic keyboard cover it comes with to protect it from dust. I miss that on the new keyboards that don’t come with one.
I also like that it has a volume control, brightness control, pause, playback, next track, email, calculator and loads more. This is amazing for me, I’ve not used one like this before and I’m so impressed
I’m playing with this keyboard as I’m writing this review because I keep finding different functions and I want to mention them here
It’s not a light weight one there is some weight in it and it’s not a keyboard I would use for traveling because of the weight but for taking to the office and back wouldn’t be a problem although this one is staying permenantly at home solely for my use and away from envious eyes or it will probably develop legs and disappear if I take it to work. I actually got this for my mini pc but I’m going to use it as my main keyboard for all devices because it makes the other keyboards seem lacking in too many ways.
If you want the full operations for the keyboard you need to download the driver from the AJAZZ website. The details are in the box it comes in.
You can connect to windows and Mac although I’m on windows I haven’t tried it on Mac.
The instructions are in the box but I suggest having a full play with it. It’s quite an enlightening experience for a novice like me. I’ll probably be here for the rest of the afternoon playing with this – it’s my new ‘go to’ toy
