Needed a replacement hose gun when I dropped existing one and broke the nozzle. Also needed one which had option to screw into hose as well as have a Hoselock style push on adapter. Good range of spray patterns although less than my old one. Overall very happy with purchase especially as price dropped while I was deciding to buy it.
Comes with 2 spare rubber washers. Fits well with my regular hose connector fitting which has an automatic water flow stop when no hose head is fitted. Functions well on initial test. The brass male connector makes a good seal. Hopefully this one should last longer that the cheapo heads which I have to purchase a few times a year at about 3.99 each. If this one at 6.99 lasts a year it will still be a saving. It’s quite novel using a thumb to operate instead of a trigger. Only thing I can see that may be an issue is how robust the thumb turn mechanism is. If it can take drops from heights without problems developing then it should last well. We’ll have to wait and see. Probably prudent to not leave the head connected when not in operation through the winter as ice expansion within its joints will most likely cause damage.
My hose end connector has a water stop when any device is taken off the hose the brass end of this new spray head is slightly shorter than normal I have taken the connection end off my old spray head and it now works perfectly with the brass connector fitted to the new spray head it doesn’t work with my set up
