Great hd camera and monitor and good service
Really good baby monitor and camera. Image is HD and clear even in nightvision. Service also good. Our monitor developed a fault after several months of use and seller was happy to arrange a replacement device.
Exceptional customer service
We’ve had our monitor for a while but it developed signal issues. Hello Baby sent a list of recommended things to try but none worked so they issued a replacement which was with us within two days. Amazing customer service.
A trusted baby monito
A very good piece of kit. We like the automatic night mode which automatically activates when the lights go out. Also like the camera off function which still allows you full audio but no visual. Battery life on the display unit is impressive too. Nothing bad to say about this product. Would defiantly recommend.

This is the second time I have bought this product and am very happy with it. I had a slight issue with the monitor which the customer service team resolved for me within 12 hours, and 2 days later a replacement arrived. Very satisfied and would buy again.
Great monito
The video quality and range is very good as is the battery life. After 8 months we started to notice the range had significantly dropped off but customer services investigated and sent a replacement unit. Additional features like being able to play lullabies and see the temperature in the room have also been surprisingly useful.
Reliable camera
This was suggested to us by a family member and it has been a very good product so far! Good camera which you can use the remote to move around to get the best view. Mic and picture are clear and the screen has a good range which is important to us. We would recommend this to our friends.
Great device with good battery life and range
We opted for this moniter for our first child and its been brilliant for 18 months of use. The range is great, battery life lasts ages and the video quality is good both night and day. Unfortunately an issue occurred with the parent unit where it would not charge. I contacted Hello Baby and informed them of the issue and they were brilliant. Even though the warranty period had expired they are going to send me a replacement unit. Highly recommend.
Good value for money
Impressed with this unit, plug and play just plug in the camera and turn it on. The parent unit has a nice large screen, built in stand and the form factor is nice to hold. Battery life seems good. I like the eco mode, it turns the parent unit screen off, then automatically back on when it detects sound. Would recommend
Fantastic baby monitor, especially for the price!
We got the hello baby HB40 with one camera as a replacement to a broken Motorola baby monitor. Wish I had found this product first though! This monitor has a very clear picture, and the movement of the camera via the use of the parent device is so useful and works a treat. The only ‘bad’ thing I will say about this product though, is that it is super hard to get extra cameras (seemingly due to popularity of the item), so if you are thinking about having more then one camera, I would buy the sets sold together.

Brilliant. Does exactly what it says on the tin. Great picture and don’t have to reset all the WiFi so can take it and literally plug it straight in anyway.
Picture is clear and the sound is also. Cannot fault.
Great baby monito
I love it! It does what it’s supposed to and it’s perfect for watching my baby when she’s upstairs in her cot and I need to get on with bits. Definitely recommend 🙂
Well worth the money

Good clear pictures and if you have a baby that moves around a lot in their cot, this is good because it’s adjustable side to side, up and down. Screen is really big too, bigger than I though it would be, but for me that’s a good thing

Love this
Had this for about a year, still works perfectly. East to set up and use, good night vision and zoom, handy to take travelling as don’t need WiFi – which also makes it super secure. Wish the screen stayed on a bit longer or didn’t take so long to turn off, but all in all very happy with it.

Camera quality is great both during day and at nightm Its great being able to move the position and zoom in from another room . I am also able to speak through the camera which is very useful. The monitor holds its charge also.

Would definitely recommend this baby monitor, I bought this for baby number 2 when looking for a more affordable option than the vtech monitor I bought for my first and I can honestly say I would recommend this one over the vtech to everyone! It has a great setting on where the screen comes on when baby makes sound and goes off when baby is quiet meaning no bright screens waking you up in the night!
And customer service is absolutely amazing, I emailed them about an issue I came across and they quickly and efficient resolved the issue straight away for me. Would highly recommend!

Fantastic camera with great range
Cannot recommend this product enough. Fantastic picture quality even in the dark and brilliant range – I am able to go out into the garden knowing that my daughter is OK.

Very good camera for the price
Very good baby monitoring camera for that price, it has night vision and the image is quite clear and without slowdowns, it has a good microphone and has a mode to activate when it detects a noise higher than a certain threshold.
How curious functionalities it has a temperature sensor the camera can be rotated (manually, it does not follow the movement automatically), it can play a few lullaby songs and it has to remember the moments when you have to give the baby shots.
The antenna has a very good range and practically never loses the signal.
The only drawback is that an adapter should come to be able to put the camera in the cradle (on the railing) since if you don’t have a place to rest the camera well, like a piece of furniture, you have to make a solution to be able to hold it and make the area visible. where is the baby in the crib
We looked and did quite a bit of research before buying a baby camera. We did have indoor cameras that required WiFi from a different brand previously just for when our baby was napping upstairs but when she moved to her own room it was really important for us to have a separate monitor.
We love this one, it has a big enough screen, great night vision and good sound. You have options to leave the screen on all the time, or for it to go into a standby mode that will ping the screen on for when the baby makes noise. This setting also has 3 noise sensitivity levels, a little bit of noise, medium noise, or if baby is crying. We love this feature it’s very helpful. With it working without WiFi it also means if baby stays over at our parents house we can just take the camera and monitor to them and they can easily use it without having to connect to WiFi which is great. It has good range we haven’t had any connectivity issues even when baby is sleeping upstairs and we sit in the garden to keep an eye on her.
I also really like that if the monitor is turned on and the battery starts to die that it will beep every few seconds so that it doesn’t go off without you realising, it’s quite a loud beep so it wakes you through the night if this happens.
We have it mounted with a command strip to the wall and never had any issues with this. The wire for the camera and to charge the monitor are good lengths too.
I don’t really have any downsides to this product, my only comment is that the camera is quite zoomed in, even just on the normal setting, not a problem for us as we just mounted it a bit higher on the wall.
We did have an issues after 5 months of owning this where the battery life had reduced and the company were outstanding at sourcing a replacement for us. We are really happy with this product, and would recommend this to anyone
Great Value for money baby monito
Very easy to set up. Essentially plug and play. Came with the camera already paired with the monitor/base unit. Daytime and night time vision both excellent. Range of pan and tilt excellent. Picture quality on monitor/base station is excellent – better than our previous much more expensive Motorola monitor. Range and signal quality excellent. Battery life excellent. We are very please with this monitor. Excellent VFM. Paid 56.99 for it and it has been so easy to set up and use.
Good but not as good as I would of though
I do like this camera. Its very clear to speak through and very simple to use. The only issue I have is that the picture quality is no where near as clear as they make it look in the photos. But it is definitely good enough for a baby camera. I’m glad I got it on sale I would of been a bit more disappointed if I had spent 100 on this but honestly at 55 I would deffo recommend this.
I don’t usually take the time to leave reviews but this baby monitor is amazing. Insane value for money. We have the baby on the 2nd floor and yet we get full signal out on a ground floor extension. Super easy to use, you literally connect the camera to the AC adapter, press the ON button on the receiver and you have a video & audio feed straight away. No Wi-Fi, no installation. You can push a button to speak with the baby just like a walkie talkie. You can see the baby room temperature on the display, very useful and fairly accurate. The lullabies are rubbish but who cares. Battery life is good not amazing, you can still go on for 6-8 hours with the display on or far longer if you keep it off (audio only). I love the fact that you can rotate the camera on two axis, so you can point at the crib or the playing area. We are super happy with this baby monitor, highly recommended.
We bought this to replace our more expensive camera and it’s brilliant. Clear picture, good sound, able to zoom in, amend brightness etc. we also love the eco mode which turns the monitor off and only comes back on if the baby makes a sound – you can also adjust the sensitivity to only come on if baby is really crying or if baby is moaning lightly. It also lasts a night not on charge, it doesn’t always need to be plugged in. You can also rotate the camera with the monitor. It also monitors the temperature too. Also really easy to set up, as soon as you plug it in it works which makes it great for taking on trips.
