Better than expected
The first thing that caught my eye was the colour (orange) very unusual find. The design is amazing.
I bought it to replace Sony Xperia 1 II, and no regrets. Fast response and good quality image.
The only thing that isn’t so good is the fingerprint, not accurate, but I can live without it.
I need to correct my review regarding the fingerprint: I have deleted the thumb fingerprint and replaced it for the index finger and now is responding quite well.

I’ve been impressed with this phone from day one. Initially bought one for my wife, saw how snappy it was, got a second one for myself.
Battery life is impressive, speed, refresh rate, considerable storage capacity.
Only thing I had to do to it was installing Nova Launcher.
Well worth the money spent, no complaints so far.
Great phone for the price, no different to my more expensive Samsung really, takes a little longer to fully charge that’s all i can think of, no issues up to now.
Absolutely brilliant phone
This is truly the best phone I’ve ever had. Battery life is amazing and last for two days no problem. Fast and and responsive screen.
And the free X8 tablet I received no problem.
Great phone
So many phones to choose from in this.price range but I feel like I choose wisely with this. Battery is so much better than any other phone. Can lasts 2 days without charge.
Camera is good. Specs are good. Can’t complain.

– Not a fan of Magic OS, sometimes the UX nice, sometimes its not
– Don’t expect flagship camera quality, it’s decent for the price
– Yet to figure out other cons 🙂
Buy it during spring deal, its just 269GBP, instead of 300GBP 🙂
Excellent phone for the price! Sleek design, camera quality is amazing, battery lasts days 2 to 3 days.

I have never bought an HONOR phone before but I would definitely buy this brand again.
I can not wait to write the review when I had it for 2 days. Love the device at the first time when I touch it, it is slim and good looking. And I am shocked about its battery performance, with full charged it can last almost 2 days!!! It is totally worth of it with this price, especially it is even bundled with a HONOR Pad X8. Waiting for claim the gift and having more fun with this amazing device.
Very good for the price
I had a Huawei Mate 30 pro and loved that phone but the battery died. I replaced it myself but 2 years later it started playing up and only lasting a few hours. I couldn’t be bothered to take the phone apart again and didn’t want to spend a fortune so bought this one.
It’s a nice phone, very responsive with a good clear screen. It’s longer than my Mate 30 which makes it difficult sometimes to put in my jeans pocket but they all seem to be going that way.
All in all I’m happy with it. Still preferred my old phone though, and the updated version of Android on this is a pain with having to swipe all over the place, that’s not the phones fault though.

I was faced with having to pay 120 to replace my 3 year old Samsung S20 FE battery or change phone for a new one. Decided after looking at lots of different models to choose the Honor Magic 5 lite especially as it was on a prime deal.
Loved the lightweight feel, the great colour, the fact its almost as good at everything than my Samsung was, apart from I would say a slightly less good camera system, it’s such good value.
Don’t be put off by stories about Chinese government links, its got Google inbuilt as they have decided its now a safe phone, not like Huawei phones.
The day after installing everything the android OS m updated to latest Honor skin version magic 7 which is android 13 effectively not 12.
I sold my old Samsung for 50 as battery needed replacing which as I said would cost a buyer but everything worked. That meant I only paid 175 for my new Honor magic 5 lite. At that price it is excellent value, and performs as good as phones 3 times that price eg my old Samsung is still around 500.
Dont hesitate, a great buy.
