Large capacity

its ok
This red micro SD card is a solid choice for my dash cam. With all the driving I do, having enough storage for hours of footage is important. The capacity is ample for storing a large amount of footage, ensuring I never miss any important moments on the road. The micro SD format makes it compatible with a wide range of devices, which is convenient. One thing to keep in mind is that I haven’t had it for that long yet, so I can’t speak to its long-term durability. But so far, it seems well-made and works exactly as advertised.
Sd card
This review is for the SD card alone. I got it to upgrade the memory card in my dashcam.
I tested it in my PC first and it all seemed to work fine and as expected. Next up I put it in my dashcam and used the format option to reformat the memory card. That went well and it has been working well in my dashcam for a few weeks now without any issues.
Decent size micro SD card
At 256gb this is plenty for backing up my photos and other documents I need to keep as a backup.
Works a treat with no issues. Speed of the card are pretty good.
Not heard of this brand before but so far so good. Works as it should. Can be used in mobile phones as an additional backup storage if it has the slot. Also other devices that support 256gb storage
A decent memory card at a reasonable price
Ideal for use in my dash cam as it’s the largest size mine can manage and so far it’s run and recorded smoothly without issues or interference/corrupt footage. The storage amount is true to advertisement and it’s one I’d definitely buy again if needed.
Decent card but expensive.
This is a bare card without any adapters. Described as a dash cam card but can be used for anything that it’s fast enough for.
The card seems reliable so far and gives around 232Gb of usable space. The read/write speeds are about 20Mb/s read and 15Mb/s write.
Essentially a decent card, very similar to better known brands I’ve used but does seem expensive.
It works and is a micro SD card... what more could you want?
This product comes packages in cardboard and is surprisingly secure with a plastic shell inside for the additional protection. This Micro SD Card is reasonably priced for the size at the time of the review at 23.99 and performs surprisingly well straight away.
I will note that the storage of this SD card is actually 232, but this is the case for most storage for partitions etc.. so this wasn’t a surprise but something worth looking out for.
Overall this is a great little micro SD card and I have tried this in my Switch and Cameras and both of these it has worked beyond expectations.
Surprisingly good performance
A good value card and at this price point I wasn’t expecting too much in terms of performance but was pleasantly surprised.
It gave a full formatted 232GB of capacity which was verified as true under testing.
Write performance came in at 61.8MB/s and read performance of 84.2 MB/s so not bad at all.
A smart well performing genuine card.
Capable card. true 256gb and great speed.
Came in a cardboard blister pack (as they all do).
unwrapped it and carried out a capacity test. Checks out ,is a true 256gb card.
I then tested it at read and write speeds using Crystal disk mark.
Compared to (decent)32gb and 64gb cards, the read speeds are largely the same.
When it comes to write speeds though, the results are totally different.
32gb fastest read speed is 39MB/s.
64gb fastest read speed is 57MB/s.
This card manages a whopping 81MB/s.
Write speed is all important for capturing your data, say when recording using a camera, video camera ,drone, etc.
Super fast write speed from this brand means there will be no worries recording anything using this card.
A 64GB card will hold around 90 minutes of 4K footage, so this card should hold a whopping 360 minutes of footage!
Recommended.
A nice large micro SD card
Nice to have a decent size card. As with all these things only time will tell as to how well they last, I have had some go on for years and some fail fairly quickly, but I have quite a bit of confidence with this one and it’s got such a lot of storage capacity it should prove very useful
SD Card Review - not dashcam
This listing has both the dashcam and SD card in the same listing, therefore the review scores are amalgamated. This review is for the SD CARD ONLY.
I tested this card using H2Testw, which took about 4 hours to test. It detects the real capacity of cards, since a lot of sellers will advertise a card as 256 GB, and spoof it so that it looks like 256 GB in your system, but the TRUE capacity is far, far less (like 16 GB at best). H2Testw writes to every sector of the card and if it can’t find the sectors, it knows that they don’t exist.
My results showed that the stated capacity was TRUE, and so I can review the card favourably.
I tested the transfer speed using Crystal Disk Mark, and it matched the speed of my genuine Sandisk Extreme (32 GB) card, going through a USB-C hub, as I don’t have a dedicated card reader in my PC. I’m happy with that.
So overall, I recommend the card, however I will urge caution over longevity, as I simply don’t know. I’ll update the review if needed, but as it stands, this is a good card for a dashcam or gopro etc.

This sd memory is great for adding to my phone. And storing all my pictures on it. It would of got 5 stars had it of come with a sd card adapter.

Testing Notes
During the capacity test I managed a total of 232 files each 1GB in size, and 1 file of 976,896kb, making the total space on the Micro SD card 232.95625 GB
The Verdict
The HUPEJOS 256GB Micro SD Card is a capable option for users requiring high capacity and speeds suitable for 4K recording. The accurate UHS Speed Class 3 rating and compatibility with my camera made it a practical choice for me. However, the lesser-known brand name might be a concern for some users who prefer established manufacturers. Overall though, if you’re looking for an SD Card for 4K/8K recording that’s compatible with a GoPro or DJI Action camera then this card is worth considering.
Useful
It’s an unknown brand, so I probably wouldn’t use this for storing anything I couldn’t afford to lose, but apart from that, it seems to work perfectly well. It comes without an SD card adaptor, so if you want to use it in anything other than a phone or dashcam, then you need an adaptor.
I transferred 17GB of music to it on my laptop, taking 11 minutes at about 23 mB/s, so it’s not superfast, but perfectly presentable. It comes with nothing already stored, so has 250GB free to start with. That means there’s no built-in encryption, but not everyone wants that anyway.
It’s too early to talk about longevity, but if the price is right, this is a perfectly decent buy, especially for a lot of storage.
good quality, true to size with no corruptio
This product comes in cardboard packaging; inside the packaging is a nice little plastic shell that encases the whole SD Card so the SD Card doesn’t get damaged by accidental drops or weather during transit. As of reviewing, this product costs 23.99, which I think is an excellent price for this 256 Gigabyte SD Card.
During testing, I made sure that this product held the size it claimed to be without any corruption; for my specific unit, this is true – this product has slightly less than 256 Gigabytes of storage due to how data is stored – it holds a maximum of 232 Gigabytes which is a fantastic amount for a camera that can save thousands and thousands of images.
Due to the size being 232 gigabytes, this product can hold about 47000 images at 5 megabytes each.
The read and write speed of this product is slightly slower than expected but very fast for an SD Card; it was sitting at about 20 megabytes per second to write and about 15 megabytes per second to read – this means you can roughly transfer a 1-gigabyte file in under a minute (about 51 seconds)
This product is very substantial if you want to extend your phone’s storage capacity, use this in a camera or just have extra storage.
Large Capacity
HUPEJOS 256GB Memory Card.
An unbranded large 256GB capacity Micro SD card.
Tested using hdtestw it shows as just over 238GB useable, which seems correct.
Writing and verifying shows it is indeed using the capacity advertised.
The test copying of a 35mb folder of music files took under 3 seconds to achieve.
As with any of these unbranded cards, the longevity will only be gaged with extensive use, but initial tests are promising.
My only gripe is this arrived with no adapter to allow it to be used in full size SD card slots.
Still, for a 256GB card, the price seems reasonable.
