Keeps drinks ho
Drinks are kept hot. Noticed people saying the mug is not leak proof. I spilt mine on it’s side & absolutely nothing came out with the lid on. The best mug ever. Highly recommended.
Very insulating
Can keep a drink hot for hours (probably around 5 if you use the lid that came with it) while making the outside cold to the touch which can make drinking it feel confusing at times. Obviously that’s because of the insulation but even knowing that, you don’t think you have a nice warm brew inside.
Without the lid on, it isn’t anywhere near as insulating, I’d say about 50% better than a regular mug which isn’t great but I didn’t expect it to be. Although even without the lid it’s still a good mug as you can hold it while it’s hot and not burn your fingers.
Used at Costa for "green beans"
Great mug for consuming-in at Costa, size is correct for a “medium” drink, erogonomically as similar to a ceramic cup as you are likely to find, robust, and entitles you to extra free green bean drink token. Does have a push on lid if required, but probably only good for careful transportation.
Keeps you drink super hot.
We use these mugs in the garden to keep our drinks hotter and longer whilst we battle with the chores. We take infrequent small gulps of coffee, tea or any other hot drink and these mugs are ideal for our purpose. We hope the mugs act as well in reverse when the weather gets warmer and we are into cool drinks. We are sure they will.
Well worth the money. Not cheapest but better than the rest.
Watch out because it’s NOT dishwasher safe, but that’s a small price for the lovely colour and tactile finish on this mug.
I now use it as my regular mug at home too 🙂
This mug is ideal for the home or office to keep your drink hot for longer.
The lid opening needs a extra push to open fully. You need to pre warm the mug for best results in keeping you drink warm for longer. This is a good quality mug. This is not leakproof.
I got this for me to have at work, as I am by a very cold doorway where things turn to ice very quickly in the cold weather.
It looks good, and it seals well with the lid down. I have mistakenly put it in my bag half full and expecting the contents to be tipped all over – but not a drop leaks out,
I bought boiling water i it from an urn and even wit the opening it remains boiling hot a good few hours later.
It is an excellent mug, small enough to fit in my lunchbag and keeps everything boiling – a must have for anyone at work or out in the wild – just love i
Awsome mug
Im allways spillin my coffee on the way to the lounge, then forgettin to drink it an ends up luke warm if lucky.
So decided to do somethin about it besides shampooin my carpets!
I purchased one of these, and so glad i did. It holds a tad more than my fav mug, and its big enough to do some stew or thick soup in…with the added bonus of keepin it hot’ish.
Oh an i dont have to snap the bickkies in half to dunk em!
So all in all…i think theyre a great buy, and will get lots of multifunctional use
Hot red maybe. This is the second one of these I’ve ordered. I ordered orange for autumn, I wanted one for Christmas. Unfortunately, the red is not red. It’s like a gradient between orange and pink.
The lid does leak, but I have not had an insulated mug with a lid that doesn’t leak at least a little. My yeti mug doesn’t even close completely; the drinking hole is uncovered. The benefit of the lid for me is being able to carry the mug without sloshing. That said, when this lid is closed, the hot liquid likes to bubble out a little bit. That’s true of other brands I’ve bought as well.
It does keep my tea warm, even really hot, for a very long time as long as the lid is on, and even if the lid is open. Once the lid is off, all bets are off.
I can see why people are concerned about the sturdiness of the handle, but I have had no problems with it. Also, because the texture is not slippery, I’m able to easily pick up a full mug by the cup and not the handle despite the tapered shape, and I have weak hands! I love the texture on the outside.
I also love that this is on the larger side of insulated mugs. It seems like all of the coffee-cup-shaped mugs hold so little!
This mug is sturdy, has a very generous capacity and is attractive to look at. It says that it keeps liquid hot for up to 8 hours, well perhaps if you don’t drink the contents it may do but in reality it isn’t the case. I drink black coffee so there isn’t anything “cold” added but I would say that it is still quite warm after 4 hours or so with 3/4 of the contents drunk. I couldn’t give 5 * for leakage because I’ve found when it’s sitting in the compartment of my car designed for holding mugs the coffee has spilled out. Maybe I’ve overfilled it who knows but I now make sure there are paper towels in the gap to soak up any leakages. Apart from that I’m very happy with the product.
