IKWOLETI Upgraded Controller Grips for Meta/Oculus Quest 3 Accessories, with Battery Opening Cover and Adjustable Knuckle Straps Protector
Free Your Hands and Immerse Yourself in the VR Game
The controller grips for Quest 3 are ergonomically design. Premium skin-friendly silicone for better grip control, allowing for a long time to free your hands and immerse yourself in the VR game.
I decided to upgrade my controller grips to the IKWOLETI controller grips for Meta Quest 3. The batteries always drain rather quickly and it’s a hassle having to remove grips just to replace the batteries. That’s where these grips come in handy; you just lift the silicone tab covering the battery compartment, pull the available tab inside and remove and replace the battery. The grips are well made and fit well. Unlike some other grips, these are just one piece per grip, no separate straps or hooks to contend with. The grips feel nice and the straps are adjustable. Recommended.
I’ve been lucky to try a few controller grips/covers, and these are up there with the very best. Whilst the quest controllers do have a small strap, they aren’t the grippiest of things to hold and I’m very conscious that one could slip and either be damaged, or cause damage! These covers certainly help solve that problem!
To install, take off the existing battery cover and replace with the included battery covers that have a space in them for easy access when in the case. You can then put on the covers and adjust the hand straps for some extra security when using the controllers. There were no issues with tracking when using, and they made holding the controllers a much more enjoyable experience! They are comfortable to hold, with the straps helping to keep them secure in your hand.
Also included are some joystick covers, however I did not use these.
Both of these fits easily to the meta quest 3 controllers. They have comfortable grip for long term use of gaming sessions. The are made from material that is breathable and not sweaty for palms. They help ensure the controllers have long lasting life by covering and protecting them. 4 stars due to price which is average for these products.
These do double duty in keeping your controllers free of grime as well as protecting them (and your surroundings) from some impacts. The hand straps feel a lot more natural than having lanyards hanging round your wrists.
These are a great little upgrade for the META Quest 3 controllers.
These grips make the controllers feel a lot better than not having them and provide a decent level of grip when you are using them.
The grips are easy to install and will only take you a matter of seconds.
The grip section is nice and chunky and will even allow a good firm grip for the sweatiest of hands.
The only negative thing I would say about these are the price.. Nigh on 23 March 24.
Other than that I can recommend these grips to anyone who is looking for to purchase some.
As for durability , I cant really say how long they should last, but they do feel robust enough for the job.
I’ve tried a number of grip covers for the quest 3 and these grips are good but not my favourite. They’re made of a standard silicone rubber and fit really well. The textured parts offer good grip.
My issue with these grips is the length of the velcro strap, they don’t need to be so long. I’ve found they can catch a bit on clothing.
That being said, I’d definitely still recommend them so if they are in the right price range, go for it.

This is a nice grip that doesn’t really offer anything new to the many grips out there but it covers all the basic requirements with assurance.
The most important requirement for me, once the basics are covered is the ability to have a failsafe in case the grip band fails, and that safe is basically to have the original wrist strap still attached and wrapped on the wrist. This grip thankfully, has a little cut out at the bottom for the wrist strap to feed through for that peace of mind.
The battery compartment cover is replaced with a battery hole, for the convenience of taking out the battery without removing the grip. A “lift out” strip is included to pry out the battery easily. Unfortunately, not all batteries brands will pry out with the “lift out strip”. In fact, most brands don’t and its due to the different size connector tip as shown in my pictures. That includes the popular battery brand shown in my pictures. This stress that this is no fault of the grip product, it’s just the reality of battery brands. However, with a prying tool, such as shown in my picture, all batteries can be pried out without removing the grip.
As for performance during Quest 3 gaming, the controllers worked perfectly, tracking wise and the grips provided a nice grippy feel and comfort. The Velcro band must not be tight, though, because when tight, it suppresses the movement of fingers on the controller buttons. having the ability to keep the controllers in the hand while switching to hand tracking is a great convenience.
Full marks.
These grips are simple to use, feel great, and make battery changes practical, easy, and quick.
They don’t interfere with performance and if anything they enhance it. The silicone feels durable and I believe it will last well.
They are not compatible with charging docks but I love how they feel in the hand, and how useful they are.
In my opinion they’re fairly priced, well made and add convenience.
I hope you find my review helpful.
The IKWOLETI Upgraded Controller Grips Cover for Meta/Oculus Quest 3 brings added comfort to the gaming experience with its well-designed features. The battery opening cover and adjustable knuckle straps provide convenience and flexibility during extended gaming sessions. The black color option adds a sleek look to the overall design.
On the positive side, the grips cover is easy to install and fits the Meta/Oculus Quest 3 controllers securely. The adjustable knuckle straps offer a customizable fit, enhancing the user’s control and comfort. The addition of a battery opening cover is a thoughtful touch, allowing easy access when needed.
However, concerns arise regarding the overall durability of the product. Some users may find the material less robust than expected, and it may show signs of wear and tear over time. Additionally, it’s important to note that this cover is not compatible with charging docks.
In terms of value for money, the IKWOLETI Upgraded Controller Grips Cover is reasonably priced for its features, making it a cost-effective accessory for enhancing the gaming experience. While the durability may be a point of consideration, the added comfort and usability features contribute positively to its overall appeal. In conclusion, it offers enhanced functionality but potential buyers should be mindful of its durability limitations.
ANTI SLIP SILICONE QUEST 3 CONTROLLER STRAPS. ADJUSTABLE STRAPS TO SECURE YOUR CONTROLLER TO PREVENT SLIPS OR FALLING. EASY ACCESS TO THE BATTERY PANELWITH BATTERY PULL TABS FOR SWAPPING ETC. ERGONOMIC DESIGN GIVES BETTER GAMING EXPERIENCE.
The grip upgrade for the Quest 3 controllers was a noticeable improvement. The open battery compartment design cleverly solves the annoyance of frequent battery swaps. The silicone material is both comfortable for long sessions and provides a secure hold, minimizing the risk of slips. Adjustability for different hand sizes is a thoughtful touch, ensuring a good fit for anyone.
I ordered these for my new Quest 3 and I’m really happy with these grips. They are well designed and the cutouts are all nicely aligned. I like that the design allows access to be able to change the batteries.
So far I’ve not experienced any problems with using these and the performance of the controllers is not impaired in any way.
Highly recommended!
These black controller grips with their knuckle straps and accessible battery compartment are a useful accessory for the Quest 3. Also included are a couple of black thumbstick covers and the battery replacement compartment (white coloured) covers.
The kit comes with a set of instructions, but it’s pretty straight-forward to work out how they should be used.
The grips themselves are that wibbly wobbly kind of silicone which is common for this type of accessory. The grips aren’t smooth, but feature a pattern of sorts which help to secure your grip on the controllers. The battery compartment accessibility option is a good one. Even if the controller batteries do last quite a long time. I did find putting the grips on the controllers was a trifle fiddly, but at least gave a good sung fit when sorted out.
I will say the battery cover flaps don’t close to form a tight seal and the white controller can be seen through the gap. It’s purely a cosmetic note, as it doesn’t affect the performance of the grips themselves.
The grip covers have the necessary cutouts so that the controller infrared lights/cameras are not obscured and so tracking does not appear to be impaired. There’s even a cut-out to put the controller wrist strap through.
The adjustable knuckle straps are a useful size and the Velcro style strips worked well. I don’t have a charging dock, but it’s worth noting in the description that they won’t work with a charging dock.
The thumbstick covers are useful too and felt fine in use.
In short, a good pair of grips for comfortable safe use of your controllers with good battery access. The gap on the battery compartment flap fitting is slightly distracting and not being able to use a dock is a nuisance perhaps for some.
The product was great as it was made of silicone, which made it silky and comfortable to the touch. The material also made it elastic and gave it a better grip. Additionally, the added battery access made changing and replacing the batteries a lot easier than the previous model. Overall, it is a very practical and useful addition to my Oculus controller.
Just excellent. I have like 5 different grips for mq3 controllers and this is by far the best.
Rubber quality is exceptional comparing to the other ones. Grip and straps in perfect location.
I don’t have enormous hands but the other ones were too tight.
And the cherry on top is fact that you don’t have to take controllers out just to change battery anymore.
Great, great, great! I wish more sellers would sell quality products like this one.
Good quality material used for the grip. The silicone/rubberized construction provides a comfortable grip and It feels soft in the hand but sturdy enough. Plus unlike other covers that make battery replacement a hassle, this one allows for easy access without compromising the snug fit. It’s a small detail that makes a significant difference. It’s important to note that these grips are not designed for a charging dock.
