A Top Bottle Brand
You really cannot go wrong if you buy this bottle, as I can vouch for this brand several times over having reviewed their various bottles and flasks in the past. For starters this is a rather cute crocodile design on a frosted aqua background and will carry 350 MLS of liquid. Once filled the contents can be seen in a more muted shade so very easy to see how much is left. The lid is well made and the whole bottle is leak proof. There is a thumb or finger ring for carrying but you can easily add a loop of ribbon or cord should you want more of a lanyard. The lid is lockable so no leakage if knocked over when locked and a press button switch to open the lid. No straw is included but instead built into the lid I like a mini sippy straw which you child can tip back and drink from. These bottles are made to last, having tested other before that are still going strong now, some of which are tears later.
Lovely
Beautiful outlook, the turquoise color is so pretty and eye-catching. Size is perfect for my 4-year-old boy for a day. Also easy to hold, either by the hook or simply carrying the body. Design with lock system so i don’t need to worry about accidentally open when it is inside the backpack. The lid and parts can be detached and wash completely. The button is easy to open by little fingers. The bottle itself is good quality of material, rubber hand feeling with lovely crocodile characters. Love it, recommend.
Robust kids drinking bottle
This is one of Ion8’s new designs and has a lovely vibrant crocodile theme which is aimed at younger kids. The bottle is made from BPA free plastic which is really strong and takes a bashing which is perfect for kids to take to school knowing how much abuse they’re going to put it through.
The lid is really well designed and certainly lives up to the claim of being leak proof. It has a one button action that flips the lid open and can easily be done in one hand, although young kids may need to use both hands. There is also a little hinged loop that can be put over the button to stop it accidently releasing when the bottle is thrown in a bag. Once the lid is open there’s a large tube to drink through and a tiny hole that allows air to flow in to the bottle whilst drinking. The lid also houses a plastic ring that can be folded out and allows the bottle to be carried by your fingers or hung on a bag.
Overall, well designed and highly recommended.
Another solid water bottle from Ion8
I already have a metal flask from Ion8 and wanted to try out their plastic version.
This bottle has the same conveniences as the metal flask. It’s easy to clean and can even be thrown into the dishwasher for a deep clean. There are no parts to take off/apart from the bottle, again making, for a simple clean. The locking mechanism is great for keeping liquids inside the bottle. The locking mechanism is simple to operate, but young children may struggle a little. There’s a handy little carrying handle too.
This plastic bottle is lighter than its metal version but does not dent as easily. I’ve found that it bounces off the ground.

Lightweight and durable water bottle
This water bottle looks lovely, my boy likes the colour with crocodiles design.
Nice quality, lightweight, seems strong enough for children to daily use in school or nursery.
The flip open lid with safety lock seems an upgrade to the old version which is great and easier to use.
Overall it’s a great water bottle for kid, recommend!
Good seal for taking on a trip ou
The cutesy design on this bottle is great for my 4 year old daughter. The bottle is light, easy for her to hold and drink from.
From all of the bottles we have tried over the last few years, the Ion8 brand has been the most consistent on quality, pretty drawings, and the fact that without physically damaging the bottles they remain perfectly leakproof.
This bottle has a semi-transparent look to it, which means that it is trivial to see the quantity of the liquid left in it.

This bottle is made really well. It’s made from hard wearing plastic and the crocodile design looks great.
It’s leak proof so can be carried in a bag. It also has a hinged clip which is a nice touch.

Great, small kids water bottle
I’m really impressed with this bottle. High quality, well made. Clever lid with lock function. No leaks. Dishwasher safe (although I’ve not tested this).
My 2.5yo loves the crocodile design!
compact size - fits in changing bag side pocke
This water bottle is rather compact – not much bigger than a soft drinks can for scale, and holds a similar volume, so it’s on the smaller side of water bottles – but this means that it fits perfectly in the changing bag side pocket without overhanging, so I appreciate that. The simple o ring seal around the neck seems to work well, and not having to scrub a straw as this is a tip-to-sip style, is always welcome by me. Does the job well overall!
leak proof and works
No chance this bottle can open with the three locks, yet it’s simple to open.
Some younger children might struggle at first but they will learn it quickly.
the design is eye catching and fun, this one is made of plastic but they also sell metal bottles if looking to reduce plastic in your home.

Great quality bottle
We own a couple of these Ion8 kids water bottles and we’ve always been impressed with their quality.
The bottle is made from BPA free material, it feels strong and sturdy and the lid is leak proof, making it a perfect bottle for your kids school bags.
The lid has 2 latches to keep any liquids from pouring out. Theres a push button which flicks the top cap upit’s very cooland there’s a little latch the flips over the push button giving it extra security.
This bottle holds 350ml/12oz which is the perfect size for our 9 and 5 year old kids.

Cute pattern, thick frosted plastic bottle which is heavy and almost like glass. The lock system is quite tricky for little fingers but easy for adults. It’s very easy to clean as there’s no straws to collect mould etc. This is the small version which I find perfect for my 3 year old to take out and about. 10/10 love i
Quality water bottle
This 350ml Ion8 water bottle is made from plastic, so it is quite light without being flimsy. There was no odour to the bottle when it arrived. It is just the right side to fit into the bottle carrier on his small backpack. The lid is screw top with a locking cap, this is a little too stiff for my grandson to open but it may loosen with use or he may be able to open it himself as he gets a little older. It has a free flowing drinking spout rather than an attached silicon straw. I prefer this as it is easier to clean and quicker to drink, but as a consequences he does spill it sometimes as he tips it up too far.
The bottle has a cute dinosaur pattern. This is a quality bottle as expected from ion8 and I am happy to give it 5 stars.
Very impressed with this bottle
I normally go for metal reusable bottles instead of plastic ones as I find they last a bit better, however I’m really impressed with this Ion8 one so far.
It’s a lovely soft touch hard plastic bottle with a coordinating lid that pops up to reveal a spout. There’s also a fold out loop on the top so you could thread it through a bag hook. The pop up button can be locked in place so that it won’t unintentionally be pressed. The crocodile design is nice too – from what I can tell it looks to be stickers rather than printed, so it’ll be interesting to see if they start to peel over time.
I ran this this plastic water bottle through the Auto cycle on the dishwasher (twice) and it came out fine. This is a huge bonus for me as it makes it simple to clean (there’s no straw, just the lid and the bottle).
A slight downside is that for younger children, the button to push the lid to pop it open can be a bit tricky. My two year old needed a bit of practice, although my four year old got it very quickly. Likewise the little lock hook requires a bit of dexterity, so this cup may not be quite right for a toddler.
It’s only 350ml capacity which is a bit on the small side for a child to use all day at preschool/nursery/school – I would prefer a 500ml capacity, which it appears they do sell, and in some nice kid’s designs too.
The eco credentials of this product (carbon neutral) are very appealing too – according to the product page this bottle is actually constructed of ‘recyclon’ – a carbon neutral polymer made from plants and biomass. I can see that it is possible to purchase replacement lids/valves for the adult cups, but disappointingly it isn’t so obvious if this is an option for the kid’s cups like this one. Their website also states the bottles are recyclable – however I can’t find any information on how to do this.
Overall, I’m really happy with this water bottle – I’m hopefully it will last, in the hands of a toddler and subjected to daily dishwashing. Would recommend, although personally I’d go for the larger capacity (500ml) which only costs a couple of quid more.

A fun water bottle that appeals to me because it’s unisex with its funky crocs.
Lockable yet easy to open lid and the whole lid screws off for easy washing.
It goes in the dishwasher and is large enough to keep a toddler hydrated but not too heavy to carry.
Such a cute bottle with new lock features
This is such a cute little drinks bottle because it is turquoise and has little alligators printed on.
We’ve had Ion bottles in the past years but this new version has a better lock feature to make it spill proof, even when it has a tumble or gets shaken around in a bag.
These bottles are really great for kids (but also adults) and completely smell free. Easy to clean, even in the dishwasher without having to fumble around and use miniature brushes. I really can recommend it.

Great water bottle for my son. Really is leak proof and has an extra catch to prevent the top popping open. Design is nice, and the size is ideal for school use. Will likely get a few more!
Great crocodile design water bottle
This is a 350ml water bottle – and ideal size for my 3 year old and little hands.
She can manage to open the clip herself – although she is very independent lol.
Is transparent so you can see the water levels and make sure little one has plenty of water.
Easy to clean – and a clip on the lid to stop it accidentally opening in a bag.
We love these bottles – don’t leak, highly recommend.

We absolutely love these bottles and you can see from the second that you hold it that the quality really is in the manufacture. from the locking lid to the easy to remove top and pull out silicon insert, you know that you hygienically and easily cleaned these bottles without any issue at all. They are also very robust in both the printing and finish.
