No me parece prctico.

    Absolutely stunning headse
This was an upgrade for me from the Astro Gen 3’s – and I’m VERY happy with this upgrade. The stunning, yet design on this is top notch and can’t fault that at all. I think the white looks insane! Of course it doesn’t matter when it’s on your head – but you’ve gotta match your setup, right!?

The sound is amazing and makes playing games like Call Of Duty a much better experience to improve your chances of keeping up with the competitive and hear those footsteps. They’re very comfy too – so I can’t see these being an issue at all for any long sessions. Also the microphone quality is incredible! My friends said it sounded better than my previous dedicated USB microphone that I used with a sound mixer – so that’s been put away now and I’ll be using the this one! Less clutter on my desk too so that’s a bonus.

Overall I’m very happy with these beauties and I certainly recommend them if you’re looking to upgrade!

    Great Produc
I got this headset for my son and he’s fell in love with them
They’re put together reasonably well and nicely designed
The sound quality is good and they’re comfortable to wear
The battery life is also good, however, when it’s so easy to recharge them in the docking station the battery is not important
The size is average and they fit lovely
The price sounds a little high but they’re a good product that’s worth trying
    Logitech, good products

    Awsome quality
This is brilliant, the sound quality is fantastic and it looks good to.
It’s lightweight and easy to use but it can be a bit of a faff with all the leads, I needed my boys help setting it up.
It is versatile so you can use it across multiple platforms and the mic is super sensitive that you can easily hear whispers.
I liked it and it’s the first headset I have owned, previously I used to borrow my kids ones.

    The Almost Perfect Gamers Headphones
Best gaming headset out there but has a few minor flaws

Now before I go on with this review, as a YT Tech reviewer and advisor I could easily and happily write a review, that would equal to the size of the bible, so I’m going to keep it to a somewhat readable size so that everyone can understand, which will be just the basics about these fantastic headphones that Logitech have created!!

    What’s in the box?
    1 x Astro A50 X Wireless Headset
    1 x Astro A50 X HDMI Base Station
    1 X USB TYPE-A to USB Type C cable
    1 x USB Type-C/Power Combo Cable
1 x AC Adapter & Socket Plug Heads
1 x Dolby Atmos Activation Card
    1 x User Manual

    Build quality?
The build quality on the A50 X Wireless Headset only best put as pure premium quality on absolutely everything, from the headphone pads down to the microphone boom arm.

The same premium quality also goes onto the A50 X HDMI Base Station, with everything built as if it was made for the God of all gamers !!

    Material quality
The materials used on the A50 X Headset, and on the A50 X HDMI Base Station, are as good as its ever going to get, with the highest quality of plastics and other materials used.

    Connections
You can connect all of your most precious gaming gear with the Logitech Astro A50 X headphones via the A50 X HDMI Base Station, such as your Xbox PS5, PC/Laptop, or Mac with Playsync and it doesn’t stop there, you also have Bluetooth connectivity, to link up your Mobile Phone and Tablet or any other device that you need to be connected to these headphones via Bluetooth.

    Sound Quality Whilst Gaming
The sound quality that you get from the Astro A50 X Wireless Headset, is truly remarkable, with its 7.1 Dolby Atmos surround sound, where you can literally hear everything around you as clearly as a bell, and this puts you completely at the centre of the gameplay itself, thanks to the Pro-G Graphene material.

Sound quality whilst online/music listening or watching TV
Again this is equally as good, whether you are gaming online, chatting, listening to music or listening to your favourite TV show or movie, the sound is superbly crisp and crystal clear, with a nice deep bass, good clear mids and crystal clear highs

    Microphone sound quality
The microphone has got to be, one of the best onboard microphones that I’ve ever used yet, and it’s so good that I’ve started to use it while testing it out, on doing some practice reviews, as it’s so clear, and had no pops or crackles when you talk into the microphone itself and the noise cancellation microphone works a treat, keeping out around 70% of the background noise

    Comfort
This is like the Rolls-Royce of the headphone world on your head, with the luxurious padded earpads and headband, that is so soft you don’t know that you’ve even got them on half the time.

    Battery life
The battery life, even though it doesn’t quite meet its quoted mark of 24hrs, but in my tests, these have easily given me a fraction over 20hrs of battery life, which is still superb in my book

Now it’s not all good news with these headphones so…

    Here are the not-so-good bits

No noise cancellation on the headphones, which is such a shame as the cups don’t really do that much of a good job either, to insulate out the background noise and if I’m honest, these are probably one of the worst !!??

Occasional, microphone dropouts, every now and then, but nothing too serious

Occasional microphone noise can be heard by others, and has been described as a static kind of noise, that appears and then disappears whilst talking.

    Loudness
Don’t get me wrong, these are loud, but not as loud as a few other cheaper gaming headphones that I’ve used, and since there is no noise cancelling available, that extra loudness would come in handy, especially if you are in a noisy scenario.

    Bluetooth
Bluetooth only works whilst the Astro A50 X HDMI Base Station is switched on, so you can not just patch these directly to any other Bluetooth sources, without them going through the Astro A50 X HDMI Base Station first.

So there you have it, I think I’ve covered everything that, I would like to know about these, but if there are other Qs that you need to know, then ask in the customer Q&As section on this page

The main question is, do I recommend these ???
A very big DEFINITE YES and if these ever come up on a special offer, then grab them quickly, otherwise you be kicking yourself

So even though I’d love to give these a solid 5 stars out of 5, with the no-so-good bits in place (especially with these not being noise cancelling and only being able to use the Bluetooth whists the Astro A50 X HDMI Base Station is on ) I’m going to have to give these just a 4 out of 5 stars… maybe on Logitechs next updated version of these headphones, the underlying not so good bits will be amended.

    Blown away
After using these headphones for a week, I’m thrilled with the sound upgrade from my previous headphones. The microphone quality is noticeably better, and the Logitech app offers extensive customisation options, including presets you can download and try out via a mobile app.

The base unit is a highlight, allowing seamless connectivity between my PS5 and Xbox, although it’s missing an HDMI cable. While the headphones offer decent insulation, I miss the ambient noise button from my old pair.

Overall, these headphones provide a significant sound upgrade, though they lack some features compared to competitors. Highly recommended

    A step up
I have been a gaming enthusiast for years, and I must say, the Logitech G Astro A50 X LIGHTSPEED Wireless Gaming Headset and Base Station has completely blown me away. From the moment I unboxed it, I knew I was in for something special.

First off, let’s talk about build quality. Both the headphones and the base station exude durability and premium craftsmanship. The materials feel sturdy yet comfortable, making long gaming sessions a breeze. The attention to detail in the design is impeccable, and it’s clear that Logitech has put a lot of thought into every aspect of this headset.

But what truly sets the Astro A50 X apart is its sound quality. The audio is nothing short of phenomenal. The bass thumps with power, the mids are crisp and clear, and the highs soar without a hint of distortion. Whether I’m in the heat of battle or immersing myself in a cinematic gaming experience, the soundstage of these headphones never fails to impress.

Having used several gaming headsets in the past, I can confidently say that the Astro A50 X is a significant step up in quality. The improvement in audio fidelity alone will be enough to justify the investment for some. While the price tag is steep, it’s a clear indication of the superior quality and performance that you’re getting with this headset.

In conclusion, if you’re looking for a top-of-the-line gaming headset that delivers on every front, look no further than the Logitech G Astro A50 X LIGHTSPEED. It’s a game-changer in every sense of the word, and I can’t recommend it highly enough.

    Good sound
These have a good sound and they can be charged easy and have a nice design too. A bit wary about the quality as they seem to be quite fragile but are good overall

Nothing else than you would expect from Logitech.
When looking for a high-end gaming headset you’re looking for something comfortable, something made from quality materials that will last for a long time, something that sounds great, this headset has all of that in spades.

Great packaging and fantastic features. It’s really easy to set up, works great, has a good battery life and feels like a real high-quality item. Firstly the headset uses real steel and aluminium in its construction, it’s not another plastic product that will break after a few months. Very light on the head ( sometimes i forgot I have them on), and the memory foam earpads make it incredibly comfortable to wear, even for extended periods of time.

The sound is crystal, has an EQ and surround to tweak and play with settings. It seems less basey compared to my creative rage headset, but it adds further crispness to the quality of sound which definitely helps push it above the mentioned.

All in all I’m super happy with the product, Would recommend for gamers. Comfortable, durable, high quality, superb sound.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersSuper zufriede

    Great Sound - but expensive
The Logitech G Astro A50 X is the first Astro A50 headset rebranded to Logitech since their acquisition of Astro back in 2017. It succeeds the Astro A50 Gen 4, essentially making it the Gen 5. Gen 4 mod kits are compatible with the new A50 X.

All components are protected in the box with high quality felt and are well secured with efficient use of available space. It comes with a quick start guide and a couple of info cards, the headset and base unit, a USB-C power adapter & plug (UK and EU), 1 x USB-C to USB-A cable and 1 x USB-C to dual USB-A and USB-C (Y) combo cable. HDMI cables are not included, which is disappointing as you’ll need at least 2 if connecting to a console and 3 if you use both. You will also need to buy a second USB-C to dual USB-A and USB-C (Y) combo cable if you intend to simultaneously connect to both Xbox and PS5.

Both headset and base unit look and feel well made with quality materials. The base unit is surprisingly compact — narrower than the width of the headset — and so fits nicely on my desk. The ear pads and headband cushion are a very soft and pleasant feeling fabric. Fit is easily and independently adjustable. The ear pads were a little uncomfortable for me but connect via magnets and are very easy to swap out. I replaced with some aftermarket PU leather pads which I find more comfortable. Others have reported finding the included pads comfortable, so this is obviously down to the individual. Be aware that different pads will also affect the sound profile and how the headset fits into the base unit. Both ear cups rotate 90 degrees so you can lay them flat.

I started my test by hooking the base unit directly to my PC. The companion software (Logitech G Hub) suggested the headset required a firmware update to configure, however I decided not to risk it as I have seen people reporting that it can render the headset unusable. Despite the claim to the contrary, the headset is still perfectly configurable without a firmware update. There are several settings you can change in the app, most notably EQ. There are a few default presets, or you can easily download community made profiles or make your own. I downloaded a community one for the ear pads I bought. There are also separate EQ settings for the microphone, along with some ‘noise gate’ presets which adjust how much sound gets transmitted. Thankfully, settings and EQ profiles persist across devices.

After initial setup and tweaking, I started with some music. I don’t profess to be an audiophile, but I was extremely impressed with the audio quality. The graphene drivers produce very clean and crisp sound, easy to pick out the different details and instruments, certainly more so than any previous headset I’ve owned. Solid bass without sounding ‘muddy’ while vocals and other instruments remain distinct. I listened to several songs I know well and discovered new facets I had never noticed before. The sound spatialisation is excellent, adding a real immersive quality and a new layer to the experience. They sound incredible for gaming, adding a new level of immersion to single player games and a competitive edge to multiplayer shooters. Thanks to the clear detail across the soundscape and precise spatialisation I could tell exactly where enemies were when nearby.

A Dolby Atmos for Headphones license is included and from what I gather, fully compatible with Xbox and PC but not PS5, where you’ll need to use Tempest 3D AudioTech for spatial audio instead due to restrictions imposed by Sony. I don’t own a PS5 so can’t comment further on that, but it works great with minimal setup on PC and Xbox.

There is an audio and voice chat mix, and you can adjust the balance simply by pushing either side of the right-hand ear cup or by adjusting in the app. This is a nice feature as you can use it for mixing separate audio sources.

Mic quality is excellent. Easily the best I’ve used and probably more than adequate even for professional streamers. Using the mic itself is extremely simple, just move it down in front of your mouth and it’ll automatically turn on. Move it back up to the upright position to mute.

There is no perceivable latency when using the proprietary Lightspeed wireless tech, which is especially important for wireless gaming. Bluetooth is also available but does has noticeable lag as you’d expect — around 260ms. Battery is great, I’ve used for hours at a time and it’s never dropped below 60%. The base unit is very convenient for recharging and storage when not in use.

The biggest USP for this headset is its compatibility across platforms. I cannot test with a PS5 but switching between PC and Xbox is quick and painless, working perfectly on both. From what I gather it sounds like it works fine with PS5, with the main caveat being no Dolby Atmos.

Overall, I think if you’re willing to spend the money and own the requisite devices then it’s probably your single best option. Yes, it’s expensive, but almost certainly cheaper than buying 2 quality headsets for separate consoles, with the added convenience of only needing the one. Even so, at this price point it is disappointing to not come as a complete package as you’ll need to purchase 2 extra cables for full functionality.

If you only have 1 of the listed devices, or they are in different rooms (as I suspect will be the case with many people), it’s harder to recommend. It’s an excellent headset, but expensive at 360. A fair portion of that cost will be due to the passthrough base unit, which (while very good) is an unnecessary expense if you’re not making full use of it. But if you don’t mind spending the extra, why not? If nothing else, you’ll already be ready if you ever buy another console down the line.

    Sound — 5/5
    Mic – 5/5
    Features & Connectivity – 5/5
    Build Quality & Comfort — 4.5/5
Included in the Box – 3.5/5
    Price — 3/5
    Overall — 4.5/5

As a product I feel it is a 5/5. I almost gave it 4 stars due to the price, but for its intended use I still think it’s the best and probably cheapest single premium option for its intended use. If you can justify the price, I think you’ll love it.

Good battery life. Audio not as good as it could be. Better than average.
I asked my gaming son to test these for me especially as he’s an arctic nova pro player. He found it a little fiddly to set up due to the fact he was already using his hdmi lead to connect his monitor to the ps5 but got round it by using an iPhone 15 cable to the power dock to the back of the ps5. But once set up it worked well and looked and felt good quality. He said the microphone was good and clear but the mike was heavy after a few hours of gaming. The audio was pretty good, above average but didn’t blow him away with what he’s used to. The battery life was very good. The headphones were comfortable to wear. It’s certainly comparative to equally high end products to a point but my son felt it wasn’t competitively priced enough to be a game changer.

    Astro A50
Absolutely blown away by the Logitech G Astro A50 X LIGHTSPEED Wireless Gaming Headset + Base Station! This headset delivers unparalleled audio quality, allowing me to fully immerse myself in every gaming session. The wireless connectivity is seamless, providing freedom of movement without sacrificing performance. The Base Station is a game-changer, keeping everything organized and charged up effortlessly. Comfort-wise, it’s like wearing clouds on my ears, even during marathon gaming sessions. Whether it’s pinpointing enemy footsteps or getting lost in the rich soundscapes of my favorite games, the Astro A50 X LIGHTSPEED never disappoints. If you’re serious about gaming, this headset is an absolute must-have. 5 stars without a doubt!

    Excellent Headse
Excellent quality Wireless Gaming Headset from Logitech made from excellent materials and will last a long time if treated correctly.

The main feature about this headset and why most people will get it is the fact you can connect three devices at the same time two consoles and a PC BUT they do all need to be using the same TV/monitor unfortunately my PC is using a monitor and my consoles on a TV and I don’t plan on changing this unless I really need to BUT for me personally this is not a big issue as it is the consoles I am interested in for the headset.

The base station is also excellent quality and I like the design a lot, I also love the fact the headset connects into the stand with magnets and they have a strong pull. The headset can only be inserted one way.

The ear cups is soft and comfortable to wear even for long periods of time and the breathable mesh material is a very nice touch. I love the fact that the ear cups can be removed easily meaning replacing them should they break, will be a quick and easy task.

The sound quality is excellent and will help you get immersed into the game you’re playing, microphone is very good you won’t be disappointed. Another feature I like is when you lift up the microphone it goes on mute BUT it needs to be fully up I would say this has caught me out once.

I have two grumbles my first is it does not come with HDMI cables BUT if you have a XBOX X/S & Playstation 5 you will already have two HDMI cables so you just need to get a third which I already had so this is not a game changer for me BUT something to keep in mind.

My second grumble is the foam on the headrest it is soft and comfortable which is exactly what you would want BUT I feel this will be one of the first things to wear out and need replacing I am judging this on previous headphones I have had.

Overall I am very happy with the headset there is no questioning this is a expensive headset and I would say for the more serious gamers BUT there is no doubting the quality of the headset & sound and it is worth the money so I would definitely recommend it if you have all three devices on the same TV/monitor.

    Good for gaming
I’ve used a number of different Logitech gaming products over the years with varying levels of success – these A50 headphones are from the higher end G range, could they deliver?

First impressions were good as both the headphones themselves and the base station included appear to be of high quality. When it comes to set up you’ve got a decent range of different options here, utilising ‘lightspeed’, Bluetooth or the HDMI passthroughs. You can set up multiple devices this way so if you game on both the PC and XBOX it’s easy to switch over.

Comfort and fit wise I was pretty happy with what was being delivered here. The headband holds the headphones in place well, the ear cups are well padded and there aren’t any parts that I found too tight, nor too hot which can be a probably with longer gaming sessions. The microphone, like the rest of the headset, is adjustable as required.

Performance wise and battery life seems to be pretty good – the base station also acts as a charger and then the wireless headphones continue to perform independently. In terms of lag which can be an issue with other wireless sets you’ll get best performance apparently using the ‘lightspeed’ connection. My gaming is probably not up to a standard where this would be a problem but I didn’t notice any issues.

Sound quality and this is where I felt a little let down. I know you probably won’t be listening to music on these cans but the range was somewhat limited. Voices come through pretty clearly, the microphone quality is fine but not exceptional and sound effects are generally crisp but it lacked both the bass and the top note clarity I would expect from headphones pitched around this level. For gaming this is probably fine, but I’ll be keeping to others for different tasks.

Overall then these are good all round gaming headphones built primarily for that single purpose of which they do a good job.

One headset to rule them all.
The Logitech G Astro A50 X Wireless Headset is Logitech’s latest flagship headset and should not be confused with the original A50’s.

The Headset and base station are clearly quality items, with the finish and build quality better than any other headset I’ve tried. Materials are primarily a combination of matt and gloss black plastics with metal uprights on the height adjustment. The design is clearly targeting the gaming audience, but it does have a grown-up look and feel.

Currently I have A PS5 and Xbox Series S connection through the Astro X base station, my PC is another room, so I’ve gone with Bluetooth there. This does mean I don’t get the latency advantages of the Lightspeed connection on my PC.

Before the A50 X I had to use separate headsets for my PlayStation and Xbox, but as the A50 pulls audio from the HDMI connections, it can handle both. The HDMI 2.1 passthrough is essential for me, as I wouldn’t want to compromise on the 4k 120Hz output from my PlayStation.

Audio quality out of the box is far and above any other headset I’ve used, but for those who like to tinker you have a couple of options. If you’re on PC, you can use the Logitech desktop app which is full featured with plenty of options. Otherwise, you can use the mobile app, not as much control but still lots to play with. You can also use the apps to update the firmware on the headset, though there have been reports of issues when updating so I’m running the firmware it came with for now.

Comfort-wise, these have fabric cup covers, which is my preference and are very comfortable. There’s plenty of padding on the head strap and there’s loads of flex and rotation making these very comfortable for long sessions.

As for the mic, the boom is flexible and can be flipped up out of the way (which mutes the mic), but when in use the quality is at least comparable, if not better, than my desktop condenser mic.

The Logitech G Astro A50 X Wireless Headset is far and away the best audio experience I’ve had when gaming, if you can justify the cost, you will not be disappointed.
